She did not get punched nearly as much as she should have? That implied some on the side of the Dark Mirror at the very least felt some level of sympathy for the woman that was trying to destroy them. Strange. It seemed the Dark Mirror were tenuous allies at best. He would have to evaluate them further. "That is unfortunate, but at the very least, she is dead now." At least, he presumed she was dead. He supposed there were other ways to take care of 'issues,' but when they involved queens of mirrors sucking people into strange, alternative dimensions, he was not sure what the other way would have been. Frankly, he did not particularly care to find out. Did it matter? It also caught his attention that she implied the Dark Mirror was a small faction. Perhaps that explained their lack of offensive initiative against the Negaverse. If they could be squashed easily, there was likely no point. There were definitely more of the senshi on his side, and he was fairly sure they were all outnumbered by the Negaverse. He could not find much other explanation as to their dominance at the moment, at least without some further digging. "Gardens and farms are a good beginning. Have any of you considered crafting an apartment complex?" If they were going to provide an Earth replacement, they needed all the basic needs fulfilled. That included shelter. He cocked his head just slightly. "Also, why are you so few?"

"At least I hope she's dead. She hasn't yet made an appearance again yet." Mithra added. As much as she wished for that woman to be permanently dead, she still wasn't quite sure how all of this worked and hoped that the queen wouldn't be able to be resurrected again. She shook her head at his question. "No, but I haven't tried myself as I'm not an engineer. I could see if we had any engineers in our faction, but that's only a small chance of it happening." Sure, they pretty much just had to think about it for it to happen, unless they needed materials, but to be able to keep the structure from collapsing was a different story. She shrugged. "Well, I would assume that it's because either they awaken as White Moon senshi, or are corrupted into the Negaverse. It's... hard to become a Dark Mirror. You have to be corrupted if you are a White Moon, but need the help of one of our Royals. Either that or a corrupted Guardian cat, who align themselves with the Negaverse, needs to turn you into a Dark Mirror, and I highly doubt many are jumping at the chance to do that." The cats would be loyal to the Negaverse, and as of yet she hadn't run into one that was willing to turn a senshi to the Dark Mirror. But then again, she had only heard about them, she hadn't actually run into any guardian cats except at the obelisk event, and she certainly hadn't been able to speak to them then.

She may have not been dead? Then had they not fully resolved the problem? Unfortunate. It also sounded like they needed an engineer in their ranks if they truly wanted to create a replacement for Earth. This made sense, of course. As someone who studied what was at least an engineering-adjacent field, Hydor was rather convinced of the importance of engineers. They seeped into all portions of life, whether that be in obvious ways or in the less obvious ways. Needing engineers to create buildings was a bit more of an obvious way... The way Dark Mirror senshi were awakened was certainly odd. They had to rely on the cats of a faction they were not allies with? It sounded like they were forced to be allies. Why did they not have their own cats with which to awaken themselves? The Negaverse just corrupted some of Order's cats. Could the Dark Mirror not do the same? "The Dark Mirror do not have their own equivalent to our guardian cats? That is very curious. Why is that?" How could their faction sustain itself without the Negaverse?

Once again, Mithra shrugged. "I don't know. The cats can only provide the regular tools like what you senshi get from your cats. Our starseeds have... well they've almost been coated with a mirror-like substance, which is different from being corrupted. I guess Guardian Cats are just immune to the Dark Mirror even if we both have chaos-based powers." It was true. It's not like the Dark Mirror's powers came from rainbows or something. "There are ways for us to be awakened without the need of the cat, it's just the cat gives us the tools, like our senshi pens. Still though, why we don't have our own is a mystery to me. I guess we're just a faction that isn't supposed to belong or something and came about in an unusual way that chaos and White Moon couldn't really connect with." Which was why it was so hard to get more in the faction in the first place. Mithra thought it was perfect being in the Dark Mirror, the only drawback was not being able to go to her home planet. Though from what she had heard from others talking, it's not like the home planets were that amazing. Or alive. "I wish we could get our own but I wouldn't know how. I'm not strong enough to go and try experimenting on Guardian Cats myself."

Their starseeds were ... mirror-coated? He guessed that explained the whole 'Dark Mirror' concept. It was certainly still a corruption, but not a corruption in the same sense as literally grabbing one's starseed was. Why were only senshi susceptible to that type of corruption, and not anyone else? Guardian cats were not. It seemed that knights were not, either. Did senshi just have particularly sensitive starseeds? "Even if you can be awakened without the cat, it sounds like you still require the cat. That could be problematic in the future." He crossed his arms, but said nothing further about that, turning his attention to something off to the side. Hydor did not seem to actually be looking at everything. "If you cannot connect with the Negaverse or Order, why are you able to convert us from this side? It seems there is some level of connection, there." He was probably asking more than she knew. At this point, Hydor was just theorizing. Learning about how these other factions existed was of interest, after all.

"Unfortunately, we haven't gotten that far. I would assume the Royals of our group just have that power inherently. I'm sure that the Royals on your side and the General Kings/Queens on the Negaverse side can all do their own versions of converting." She wasn't an expert after all. She had mostly gotten into the Dark Mirror and then had spent most of her time draining energy and punching people out within it. Not a whole lot of it was actually used to analyze the group as a whole. "Maybe it has something to do with starseeds. I don't know, but they do seem pretty fragile." She figured that giving him this information wasn't a bad thing. After all, none of it could really be used against them. It was pretty basic. Or at least it could be inferred on one's own if they actually thought about it. "It is a problem, the cats that is. Probably why there aren't many. I think we have to rely more on conversions more than anything."

He had figured she likely did not know for certain, and her immediate response that they had not gotten that far just confirmed it. Hydor at least tried. He was likely reaching the limit of what information she would give him at this point, anyway. She was a separate faction, a tenuous ally at best. "I would assume so, though I have not met any." He was glad he had not. Bernard had said that the royals did not exactly claim leadership over them, but Hydor did not want to deal with it, anyway. The concept of being led at all made him shudder. That meant losing control of his own actions, and-- He pinched his nose. "Likely," replied Hydor, shifting topics. "Considering starseeds can be consumed, they are likely not very sturdy objects. Funny, that our most valuable piece is likely also our most fragile." If only there was some way to protect against that. "But I do hope you can find some way around your cat problem," replied Hydor, with a shrug. At the very least, he would prefer more Dark Mirror than Negaverse. They appeared to be far less of a threat.

While Mithra would have liked to talk more, mostly to see if she could convince this senshi to check out coming over to their side, the conversation seemed to be coming naturally to a close, and she needed to head back to her apartment at this point anyway. She wasn't going to get any energy drained tonight, and the humidity was starting to get a bit heavy. "Well, thank you. But really, you should consider coming over to this side. At least you won't have a feeling of hopelessness about not being able to stop the Negaverse like yours probably does." She took a few steps back, and she could feel how stiff she had gotten just from standing in the same position for so long. "I've got to get going. Won't be doing any energy draining tonight. Bit too humid, you know? But hey, glad we had this conversation, even if it was just to tell you some basic information about the Dark Mirror." She turned around and was about ready to run before she stopped herself, but not before having to flail her arms a bit to regain her balance. She turned back to him and waved. "I'm Mithra by the way! I don't think we were properly introduced!" She said, before she sprinted away. She would remember that senshi, it would be hard not to. Seiana_ZI last post from me! Thanks so much!

Trying to recruit him? Hydor raised both brows, a small expression of surprise in an otherwise emotionless face. Curious. "Hydor," replied he, as Mithra suddenly sprinted off. It seemed that he had a contact on the side of the Dark Mirror, now, one that was willing to provide him with basic information. If she referred to that as basic, what would the more complex information contain? Would it be worth digging deeper? Could he dig deeper? Would she let him? She did not exactly leave any contact information, so he would just have to come across her again if he wanted to learn more. That would take luck, so he would have to be prepared with questions if he could think of any. For now, though, it did not matter. He took in what he had been told, taking a much more leisurely pace away from his location. SSBrosB And thank you for the RP!
