xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EARLY CHILDHOOD Irmak’s earliest memory was playing princess with her dad - they spent hours and hours with each other. She also remembered playing with her neighbor, Aelius, who she thought was very cute - not like those other boys who had cooties and stuff. Her parents were always around, except when Irmak was in school, her daddy wasn’t around either - but neither was Dominik or Erikk. Irmak was a leader - and was very bossy to those around her. She was well behaved at school, the teachers were ancient beings of knowledge, and she hoped they would give her that knowledge so she could be the queen one day.
After school - she always had snack time, and then played with her siblings, Gottie, Henrick, Janek, and Jek. Her favorite times were when her Aelius could come over and play with them. Sometimes, they even had their cousins, Liam, Lark, Peggy, and Nina over. Irmak loved there was always someone there to play with, someone there to run errands for her.
Irmak was very jealous when Mama had a new baby, she already had enough siblings, she didn’t need Kelebek too - but his pudgy cheeks were kind of cute.

EARLY CHILDHOODWolfrik was born to Kandace Knapp and Sebastian Bennett. Sebastian was not the father of any of Wolf's siblings. Growing up, he would spend one weekend a month with his father and the rest of his time, at his mother's loud and chaotic home with more and more siblings as time went on. And, as time went on, his visits with his father became increasingly far less frequent. As an apology, Sebastian would always promise to make up for it by taking Wolfrik to a much anticipated Quidditch game, or to buy him his first owl. However, he never delivered on those. Eventually, Wolfrik stopped seeing his father, and his father even stopped sending letters. By the time he had received his Hogwarts acceptance letter, he hadn't heard from Sebastian in several years.

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EARLY CHILDHOOD Kandace was born in January of 2016, the second-born twin, and from an early age, she lived in the shadow of her older sister Kadence. While Kadence was always the center of attention, vibrant and outgoing, Kandace was quieter, more reserved, content with fading into the background. She never minded being the second fiddle; it felt natural to her, and she found solace in observing the world from a distance rather than engaging in it headfirst. Though their bond was unspoken, the twins shared a unique connection, with Kandace often offering the quiet support Kadence never knew she needed. Her childhood was largely uneventful, shaped by the quiet rhythms of family life. The household was busy, and while Kadence thrived on the chaos, Kandace found peace in solitude, often retreating to her room with books or to the corners of the house where she could find stillness. Though her early years were largely uneventful, they were marked by the love and comfort of family, even if Kandace felt like an unnoticed figure in the bigger picture. As time went on, she began to understand her place and how she fit into the tapestry of her family, always a bit apart, but never truly alone.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEAR ~ 2027
Kandace, a studious and reserved student, was adjusting to her first year at Hogwarts. She had always been more focused on her studies than making friends, preferring the comfort of books to the chaos of social interaction. One day, during History of Magic office hours, she noticed a boy—Alarick—staring at her. His gaze made her uneasy, but she quickly dismissed him and continued studying. There was no reason to think he was anything special, just another student. Little did she know that this would be the start of a strange and complicated connection.
SECOND YEAR ~ 2028
In her second year, things took an unexpected turn when Alarick finally spoke to her. Unfortunately, it wasn’t in the way she had hoped. He rudely told her to get out of his way, and when she jokingly asked him out on a date, he laughed at her. Her pride was wounded, and she swore to never interact with him again. She tried to push the incident out of her mind, but there was an odd nagging feeling that she might not be rid of him just yet. In a twist of fate, their paths would cross again.
THIRD YEAR ~ 2029
To her surprise, by the end of her third year, Kandace found herself spending more time around Alarick. However, something strange began to happen: he started dating her twin sister, Kadence. The two became inseparable, but Kandace couldn't help but notice how often Alarick mixed her up with Kadence. The first few times were innocent mistakes, but it quickly became an ongoing issue. Kandace didn’t mind at first, but as the year went on and things became more intimate between the couple, it started to feel weird. Was this some twisted joke, or did Alarick really not care to see the difference between the two? This confusion lingered, leaving Kandace to deal with the fallout.
FOURTH YEAR ~ 2030
By the time they entered their fourth year, things took a dramatic turn. Kadence discovered she was pregnant with Alarick’s child, and suddenly everything in their world changed. Kandace could breathe a little easier now that Alarick was more focused on Kadence and their future child. The pregnancy became a major distraction for Alarick, finally stopping him from flirting with Kandace and mistakenly confusing her with Kadence. At least for now, Kandace could find some peace and silence from his annoyances. The dramatic shift in their relationship dynamics gave Kandace space to reflect and focus on herself, even though it was a bit hard to process the fact that her sister was becoming a mother so young.
FIFTH YEAR ~ 2031
Living with Alarick and Kadence was awkward, especially with the addition of a newborn baby. Despite the tension, Kandace used this as an opportunity to focus on her studies. Finally, there was no boy constantly in the way, no distractions or confusion about who was who. She could focus on her education and take her OWLs seriously. In the comfort of her own academic success, she felt like she was carving out her own identity, separate from the chaos of her twin’s life. As long as she didn’t have to deal with Alarick’s constant mix-up between her and Kadence, things were manageable.
SIXTH YEAR ~ 2032
The summer before her sixth year was rough. Kandace had received her OWL results, and while she had gotten All As—something that should’ve made her proud—her parents were furious. They felt that, considering the number of classes she was juggling, anything less than perfect should have been unacceptable. To her dismay, her parents disowned her for failing to meet their standards. They made it clear that she wasn’t welcome in their home anymore. With no support from her family, she spent the summer hopping from one school friend’s house to another, trying to scrape by with part-time jobs. Her sixth year at Hogwarts was a struggle, as she tried to balance her classes and find stability in the wake of everything she’d lost. Despite her determination to succeed academically, she couldn’t escape the constant pressure weighing her down.
SEVENTH YEAR ~ 2033
By seventh year, Kandace had reached her breaking point. Kadence was pregnant again. Kandace couldn’t help but feel bitter about the situation. She had been disowned by their parents for not performing perfectly on her exams, but Kadence was seemingly getting all the sympathy and attention. While she had been struggling to get by, her sister’s life seemed to be full of second chances. In frustration, Kandace made a vow to herself: she would never speak to her parents again, and maybe not even to Kadence, who had always had everything handed to her. It was becoming clear that their paths were diverging, and Kandace wasn’t sure how much longer she could deal with it.
POST-GRADUATION [2034 to 2044: The decade of summary] Kandace didn't know what she wanted to do after Hogwarts, but she was recruited by a friend of a friend to join the Hit Wizards, working from home the ministry. She had the NEWT scores for it, plus she had nothing to lose at this point of her life.
As Kandace settled into her new role with the Hit Wizards, her life began to unfold in unexpected ways. Her job demanded long hours and an unrelenting commitment, but the isolation meant there was ample time to explore the world outside of her career. With no ties to family or any particular place, she embraced her newfound freedom, allowing herself to indulge in the most liberating aspect of her life—her relationships. She wasn’t interested in the conventional notions of romance or commitment. Instead, Kandace's love affairs were as varied and wild as her life itself.
Kandace’s experiences were as diverse as they were numerous, experimenting with both casual flings and deeper emotional connections, with men, women, humans, and creatures. She reveled in the fluidity of her love life, refusing to be confined by labels or expectations. She lived in the moment, enjoying the pleasures of each connection and never allowing herself to be tied down. These passionate, often fleeting relationships became a significant part of her identity in these years—proof that she was in control of her destiny and could be anyone, with anyone, without apology.
[January 2044: A night of mistakes] Kandace found herself at a low point - she was failing at her job after a decade of really good work. They had asked her to retire, maybe step into an office role. She had been dealing with too much pressure over the past few years, and they were afraid she was going to break after her last evaluation. Feeling vulnerable and lonely, she went to a bar she had frequented often. She got drunk, and in a haze of confusion, she ended up meeting a familiar face - Alarick Knapp. The night took a turn she couldn’t quite remember the details of, but she knew something had happened that shouldn’t have. It was a mistake, one that would haunt her for a long time, especially because it wasn’t even her sister that night—it was Kandace, not Kadence. She couldn’t bear the thought of Alarick finding out.
[March 2044: The mistake continues] The weight of that night still pressed down on Kandace. She kept the secret locked away, convincing herself that no one would ever find out. The guilt gnawed at her, but she never intended for it to happen. She convinced herself that Alarick could never know what happened. If he ever found out, it would change everything, and she wasn’t ready for that.
[September 2044: Zack] By the time September rolled around, Kandace was round with her pregnancy. The pregnancy was a complication she had never anticipated, and it brought her life into even more turmoil. She named her son Zack, hoping to provide him a better future than the one she had come from. Except, she had to do it as a single mother without any family support.
[2046: Yak and Yarrick] In 2046, Kandace found herself pregnant again—this time with twins. The father, a man who had entered her life after some time spent focusing solely on raising Zack, was supportive at first. He was a stabilizing force in Kandace’s life, and for a while, it seemed like they had a real future together. However, Kandace’s flirty nature began to create tension in their relationship. While she had always been outgoing and charismatic, it eventually wore on him. He couldn’t handle her flirtations and the way others were constantly drawn to her. After a year of navigating their relationship, he walked away.
Though their relationship had ended, the father didn’t abandon his children. He paid child support in excess, providing Kandace with the financial means to live much more comfortably than she had before. Despite his absence, the money helped alleviate some of the burdens of single motherhood, allowing Kandace to raise her twins with a little more ease. She couldn’t deny that it was a bittersweet situation; while she wished he had stayed, she appreciated the stability the support offered.
Kandace focused on her two newborns as well as Zack. Despite the challenges of raising three children on her own, she remained determined to create a better life for them. She continued to work part-time jobs, and with the additional child support, she was able to get by without the constant worry of finances. But even as she found more stability, Kandace still had a bit of an emotional gap. She longed for the closeness and family unit she had never experienced. Her relationships with both her parents and Kadence remained strained, and she still wrestled with the shadows of her past, but now, her focus was on the future and giving her children the care and attention they deserved.
[2049: Xeno] Kandace’s journey to Xeno’s arrival wasn’t an easy one. After a brief but intense relationship with a man whose name and face would soon fade from her memory, Kandace found herself pregnant again. She had been trying to keep her heart guarded—too many people had come and gone in her life, and her children were her priority. But, as always, she was swept up in the whirlwind of passion, and after only a few months, the relationship dissolved. Her partner left, leaving her pregnant and feeling betrayed, but true to form, Kandace didn’t let it break her. She kept moving forward, focused on her kids, her job, and her unyielding determination to make her life work.
When Xeno arrived at the end of 2049, Kandace found herself simultaneously overwhelmed and exhilarated. The baby was vibrant, full of life, and reminded her of the pure excitement that came with the earliest stages of motherhood, which had become harder to hold onto as her children grew older. But there was something special about Xeno. Her seer abilities began to manifest, and Kandace couldn’t shake the feeling that Xeno’s gift was part of something much bigger. She found herself wondering if Xeno’s abilities were tied to her father’s side of the family—another mystery, another question that would remain unanswered as she continued her unpredictable journey as a mother. But for now, Xeno’s presence filled the house with an unexpected joy, and for the first time in a while, Kandace felt like maybe, just maybe, she was getting the hang of this.
[2051: Wolfrik] Kandace and Sebastian's relationship started in a whirlwind, filled with passion and excitement. Kandace, always the more independent and adventurous of the two, was initially drawn to Sebastian’s quiet and thoughtful demeanor. He was older than her and had a more mature air that intrigued her. For a time, they seemed like the perfect match, balancing each other out. Sebastian was kind and attentive, though somewhat reserved, while Kandace brought a burst of energy and spontaneity into his life.
However, as time passed, the cracks in their relationship began to show. Kandace’s life had become consumed by raising her ever-expanding family, and Sebastian’s growing dissatisfaction with their dynamic started to create tension. While Kandace was used to the constant hustle and bustle of her large household, Sebastian longed for more personal space and quiet time. His need for solitude was in direct conflict with the overwhelming energy of their home. The more children they had, the more Sebastian withdrew into himself. After a particularly heated argument about their family’s future, Sebastian demanded partial custody of Wolfrik, wanting more control over the way their son was raised. Kandace, hurt by the demand and frustrated with Sebastian’s inability to compromise, watched as their relationship crumbled. He eventually left, citing the stress of their home life and his desire for a different kind of family environment. He promised to stay involved in Wolfrik’s life, but his visits became increasingly sporadic. Kandace, heartbroken but resolute, carried on raising Wolfrik and her other children with the full weight of responsibility.
Sebastian’s departure left a lasting impact on their family, but Kandace remained committed to providing a loving and stable home for her children, despite the emotional strain of navigating life as a single mother. Wolfrik, particularly, would grow up without the regular presence of his father, although Sebastian's financial support and occasional visits did offer some stability during his early years.
[2053: Fires] By 2053, Kandace had finally secured a full-time job, something she’d worked hard to achieve for stability. But just as things were starting to feel like they were falling into place, Zack—now a defiant, energetic 9-year-old—showed signs of magic. Kandace had known this moment would come eventually, but she hadn’t anticipated the chaos it would bring. One evening, after a particularly heated argument between Zack and one of his younger siblings, his magic finally erupted. In his frustration, he accidentally set the kitchen on fire. It wasn’t a massive blaze, but it was enough to cause major damage to their small apartment. Kandace had just started to feel like things were settling, but now she was faced with the disaster of a fire, repairs she couldn’t afford, and the reality of having to uproot her family once again.
It couldn’t have come at a worse time, her life was thrown into turmoil. With nowhere else to go, Kandace reached out to a close friend who kindly offered her family a place to stay while they sorted everything out. Moving in with a friend wasn’t ideal, but it was a temporary solution, and Kandace did her best to keep things together for her kids. Still, she couldn’t shake the frustration of it all.
[2055: Vee] In 2055, Kandace welcomed her fifth child, Vee. Vee was born with an unusual, slight purple tint to her skin, a peculiar trait that quickly faded, maybe Kandace had just imagined it, but she swore it just randomly came back when no one else was around. Despite the odd coloring, Vee grew into a beautiful baby with big eyes and a curious gaze. What made this birth different, however, was that Vee's father was the friend Kandace had been staying with since the fire. The two had been growing closer during their time together, but Kandace never expected this kind of turn in their relationship. Still, there was something undeniable about the connection they shared.
When Vee was born, things shifted in the household. Kandace’s friend, though kind and supportive, suggested that it was time for them to find their own space. Kandace understood, and although it pained her to think about moving yet again, she knew her friend was right. The living situation had been temporary, and now that Vee had arrived, it was time for everyone to find some new boundaries. With a bittersweet farewell to her friend, Kandace packed up her children and began searching for a new place, determined to find stability once again. Though this move was another unexpected chapter in her chaotic life, it was also the start of something new for her and her growing family.
[2056: A Home] In 2056, after years of constant upheaval and uncertainty, Kandace finally found a place that felt like home. It wasn’t a grand house, but it was hers—a cozy, spacious townhouse nestled in a quiet neighborhood that allowed her to breathe for the first time in years. The layout was perfect for her growing family: the boys would share one room, and the girls would have their room. Each child had their own space to grow, and Kandace felt a rare sense of relief knowing that they wouldn’t have to squeeze into cramped quarters anymore. It wasn’t a mansion, but it was a fresh start, and to her, it felt like a blessing.
With the stability of a roof over their heads, Kandace managed to juggle multiple part-time gigs. It wasn’t easy—there were long hours and a never-ending list of tasks to tackle—but it allowed her to support her kids and finally feel like she was getting ahead. She took on jobs that offered flexibility, balancing shifts between working as a waitress at a local café and assisting in a nearby bookstore, which was her personal favorite. The pay wasn’t much, but it was enough. For the first time in a long while, Kandace felt like she had some semblance of control over her life. She could pay the bills, buy groceries without constantly worrying about how to make ends meet, and even start putting money aside for the future.
Her children thrived in their new home, and the constant stress that had plagued her for so long began to fade. It wasn’t perfect, but it was hers. And for Kandace, that was everything. The peace and comfort of the townhouse gave her the space to reflect on how far she’d come and the hope that, no matter how chaotic life had been, this was a foundation she could finally build on.
[2058 : No more twin] Kandace’s twins, Yarrick and Yak, faced an emotional turning point. Yarrick received her Hogwarts letter, marking the start of her magical education, while Yak, who lacked magic, was left behind. Kandace could see the heartbreak in Yak’s eyes as he watched his twin head off to Hogwarts without him. No matter how hard she tried to comfort him, nothing could replace the pain of feeling left out of the magical world.
As time went on, Kandace realized Yak would have to carve his own path without magic. She focused on helping him find his strengths, but it was difficult to watch as he came to terms with the fact that his journey would be different from Yarrick’s. Despite her efforts, Kandace couldn’t make the hurt go away for either of them—her twins were no longer inseparable, and the change left her heart heavy.
[2061: This is unfortunate] In 2061, Kandace found herself at a crossroads. It was a year of hard decisions, and although her life was relatively stable, the past never seemed to fully let her go. Alarick and Kadence were about to leave for a new chapter of their lives, and it felt like the perfect time for Kandace to confront some lingering issues she had been avoiding for years. After years of estrangement and tension, Kandace knew it was time to reconcile with her brother-in-law and sister—if only for the sake of her own peace of mind and her children's future. Slowly but surely, she started reaching out to them, testing the waters and trying to rebuild the fragile trust that had once existed between them.
It was a slow, tentative process, but by the summer of 2061, Kandace had mustered up the courage to share something that had been eating at her for years. One night, when Alarick and Kadence were visiting, she asked Alarick to step aside for a private conversation. As she spoke to him, her heart pounded in her chest, but she knew this was the moment she had to be honest. She revealed the truth—Zack wasn’t Alarick’s nephew, but his son. Iit was the reaction from Kadence that Kandace wasn’t prepared for. Her sister was furious. The anger in Kadence’s eyes was enough to freeze Kandace in place. But Kandace couldn’t worry about that now. She had to focus on Zack. The truth about Zack’s parentage was one of the few things that had weighed heavily on her for years. And now, with everything spiraling out of control, she needed Alarick’s help. Zack had been playing with fire in more ways than one—he’d recently been caught starting a dangerous fire that had gotten out of control, and there were rumors about a child being killed in that fire. Kandace knew her son was in trouble, and the only way to keep him safe was to get him out of the environment that had become toxic for him. With no other options left, Kandace asked Alarick for the unthinkable: to take Zack away to America, far from the chaos and possible danger that loomed over him. It was a desperate plea, but Kandace knew it was the only way to protect her son, to give him a chance to grow up without the looming threat of serious consequences hanging over him. Alarick, although shaken by the revelation, agreed to help. But the decision didn’t come easily. He and Kadence were already planning their departure, and this added weight to an already difficult situation.
When Zack left, it felt like Kandace’s heart had been torn from her chest. Losing him, knowing she wouldn’t be able to see him as often as she wished, was a devastating blow. He was her son, and though she knew it was for his own safety, the ache of sending him so far away left her hollow. She told herself it was for the best, that this separation would give Zack the fresh start he needed, but the guilt never quite left her. Every day without him was a reminder that she’d had to sacrifice being a mother to keep him safe. She couldn’t visit him as much as she wanted—distance and financial challenges made it nearly impossible—but she held on to the hope that someday, they would find their way back to each other. For now, she could only focus on the family she still had, but in her heart, she knew she would never stop worrying about Zack. The world felt a little emptier without him in it, and Kandace wondered if she’d ever truly feel whole again.
[2064] Zack was back, but only for brief moments—now traveling with a pro Quidditch team. Kandace, though, was feeling like she wanted more. Having raised her beautiful children, she now found herself with more time and a growing sense of purpose. While her kids were thriving and becoming more independent, Kandace felt a calling to do something bigger. She had experienced what it felt like to be alone, without the support and stability she needed when she was younger. Now, she wanted to make sure other children didn’t have to go through that. Her heart ached for those who didn’t have a family to lean on, and she knew it was time to open her heart to more. Kandace started looking into adoption, wanting to give a child a chance to be loved, to have a home, and to feel supported in ways she hadn’t been able to. She was determined to create a safe space for a child in need, offering the love and security that she knew could change a life.

xxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Pádraig was born in Glasglow, Scotland at Princess Royal Maternity Hospital. He is the only child of Malcolm and Elspeth Kincaide. His father was a wizard born of pureblood and his mother a Muggle. Malcolm worked for the Ministry and would often stand by the cafe where Elspeth worked, thus leading to their romance. Before they married, he revealed the magical world to her. A couple years after being married, they decided to have their first child, thus leading to Pádraig's birth. He was named after his mother's father who had passed the year of his birth. When Pádraig was seven years old, his parents had gone to Glasgow to spend time with Elspeth's mother before she passed. Elspeth was driving them home late at night when a drunk driver crossed the road and struck their car, killing both of his parents. Pádraig was left at home for three days with no one knowing he was alone until one of the neighbors came to check on him. When the neighbor called the police, they connected the boy's situation to the death of his parents. Since Pádraig had no living family, he was taken to live in Wool's Orphanage, due to his magical blood. xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx xxxNaturally upon coming to Hogwarts, Pádraig was sorted into Gryffindor, the house of bravery! Also during the year, Páddy got a chance to prove his bravery when he saved Poppy from a scary spider. xxxGoing into second year, Pádraig once again wound up on the reserve team for Quidditch, but he did get to play in a game during the year. He also played during the scrimmage game, though he took a hit in that game. Páddy spent lots of time with his friends and made a whole bunch of new friends too. xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx

MATURE Xeno has always been called an “Old Soul.” She feels the need to take responsibility on herself. She often puts other needs before her own and she is always ready to take charge of a situation if needs be. FIRM Once Xeno has made a decision, she doesn’t like to change it. She tries to listen to other’s ideas but often finds it hard to incorporate them into her own view. She will always stand up for what she believes in, rarely worrying about the consequences. EMPATHIC Xeno is very in tune with other people’s feelings. She can easily tell when someone is upset and is inclined to do what she can to fix it. She loves to make people happy. Even though she can come across as…prickly, she genuinely cares for other people. PERFECTIONIST Xeno has a specific way she thinks the world should work. She works hard to make sure everything's in order and we’ll taken care of. She is easily bothered by things she views as “off.” SASSY Xeno does not put up with things she doesn’t like and isn’t afraid to show it. She has a tendency to be sarcastic and lets people know when they’re being dumb. If people don’t respect her, she finds it hard to respect them back. AUTHENTIC Xeno is who she is. She isn’t about to change that for anyone. She’s comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t doubt her instincts or decisions about herself. What you see is what you get.

EARLY CHILDHOODXenobiologick Knapp was born to Kandace Knapp and a...man. Her mother never really explained any more about him. She was Kandace’s fourth child, so by the time she was born, there was plenty happening in their home. Especially once she was followed by three more siblings. Her childhood was altogether a pretty happy one. She enjoyed spending time with her family, well, mostly her siblings. She would never 100% get over her mother’s choice of names, though there’s something nice about the X.
When she was still little, it started to become clear that Xeno was a seer. The visions were never anything unique or earth-shattering, or even all that clear. And they were rare. The only really interesting one was Zack setting the house on fire, but by the time she’d realized what it was, he’d already done it anyway.
She watched with longing as her siblings, with the unfortunate exception of Yak, went off to Hogwarts. At least she was able to be at home to keep him company. And yet, she couldn’t have been more thrilled when her Hogwarts letter arrived.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Xeno was sorted into Gryffindor. She easily fell into a routine with school. Being at Hogwarts gave her a sense of independence she was happy to get, though she still spent plenty of time with the various family members at Hogwarts. She also began to make a few friends outside of her family.
■ SECOND YEAR Around the time of Xeno’s second year several family members felt the need to “flee to America” as she always put it. This left her with the urge to do what she could to make Yarrick more comfortable, including joining clubs that she really had zero desire to join. However, she also became head of the Astronomy Club after much begging to Nora the year prior. She also joined the Gryffindor quidditch team as a reserve.
■ THIRD YEAR As if her first two years at school felt they were too quiet, her third decided to mix it up a bit. Granted, it wasn’t much of a mix-up, but more than she would like. During a meeting of the Astronomy Club, she had a vision. It didn’t make much sense, mostly flashes of colors and sounds but it led to her voicing a prophecy. Which drove Xeno crazy. She tried to put it out of her mind, after all, prophecies had never really led to much good, but it was much easier said than done. Every time her mind wandered in class or when she was trying to fall asleep at night it wandered back to the vision and what it all meant. It wasn’t until she woke up to a storm on the night of the full moon that it all clicked into place. She’d predicted someone becoming a werewolf. And unfortunately, as per usual, she’d been right. Xeno knew it was completely ridiculous to blame herself, she didn’t make these things happen, she just knew they were going to, but that didn’t make her feel much better.
■ FOURTH YEAR In her fourth year Xeno joined the Gryffindor quidditch team as a first-string chaser. Being officially on the team seemed to awaken some latent Knapp competitive ferocity and quidditch became most of her focus for the year.
■ FIFTH YEAR In her fifth year, Xeno became one of Gryffindor's prefects. The idea sort of made her nervous but she found herself really enjoying it. With her prefect duties and quidditch, she was pretty happy. She did find herself getting a bit overwhelmed by the OWL level classes, but she kept up well enough.
