The elbow would connect, causing Edge to let go and back off of the Stinger. At a safe distance, Edge would analyze what he could do next.

Sting had freed himself up some space as he goes for a right hand punch to Edge, and if it connects, he goes for a backhand right after!

Sting's first shot would connect, but his second wouldn't! After the Icon's first shot, Edge would duck down, evading the backhand blow smoothly. Edge would go for a right hand punch of his own!

Sting was punched, stumbling backwards but then goes for a backhand chop to edges chest in return!

"WOOO!" the crowd exclaimed as the Rated-R Superstar was chopped on the chest. Edge would try to retaliate with a chop of his own to Sting's chest!

Sting was chopped, as he would then stumble back and lean on the ropes.

Another WOOO was heard after Edge had chopped Sting. Seeing Sting stumble back would incite him to follow his opponent and go for another chop to the chest.

Sting was chopped again, and is still against the ropes with one hand holding on to the top one.

Edge, seeing Sting near the ropes, would use this chance to grab his opponent and go for an irish whip to the opposite set of ropes!

Sting was sent to the ropes, but attempts to return to Edge and leap up with a FLYING CLOTHESLINE!

The Rated-R Superstar was met with a flying clothesline! He'd fall down to the mat, getting up, though a little dizzy after being hit by the Stinger.

The backhand would connect! It hurt Edge's ego more than it did his face, but it sure hurt!

Sting would then grab Edge and Irish whip him to a corner, backing up to the opposite one in the same process
