The trio would approach the gates of Uzushiogakure. Takumi had never personally been here but had seen maps of the area so knew the general layout of the place. Cartography had been a study he threw himself into in order to strategically better himself when he was but a genin of Kirigakure. He would see the guards ahead and step towards them from the group. " Excuse me. I seek passage into the village. My friends and I are here to visit my sister, Chie Saegahara as well as seek the boy's missing friends and family from the destruction of Sunagakure." He was honest and straightforward of their intentions. No need to give the village false suspicions of them as they were most likely the only outsiders who had newly come to the village as of late since the other villages seemed to have settled in.

__ Kagami walked to the gates of the village with the others. She stood behind Takumi as he explained the reason for their visit. She yawned behind a purple veil and rubbed her eye awaiting the guards' response to the outsiders. She was not excited to enter a village for the first time in over a half-decade. All unyielding loyalty to a hidden village got for her parents was the loss of life and a hole in the ground. As she looked at the village she could only sing in a low tone to herself. "Embrace the dark you call a home, gaze upon an empty white robe, a legacy of lies, a familiar disguise." Her beautiful singing voice was but an inaudible whisper for now. The hidden villages were founded on lies and shrouded by darkness. For the time being, she would simply follow Takumi to meet his sister and see what might become of that relationship.

Taylor followed quietly behind Takumi and Kagami. Horus flew above as the boy's heart was now beating like a drum. So many answers of his past were beyond this checkpoint. He was almost too nervous to reach out to them. Thankfully Takumi and Kagami had no problem talking. The casual nature of Takumi's tone in particular made him seem as though this was no real issue. Taylor hoped to enter soon. He needed to find the truth.

The guards at the tower's checkpoint eyed the new comers suspiciously. In particular their eyes settled on Taylor and the bird above. The trio was unusual, unusual often meant that they were more than what one might seem. Of course there was no proof of this but the appearance of the three was radioed to central. Their appearances were recorded as well though such was standard practice within the village. "I'll need each of you to fill out these forms" one of the guards said. The forms themselves were fairly straight forward. They asked for information like name, stated purpose for visiting, nation of origin, and a declaration of carried goods. Upon finishing the forms the trio would be allowed to ascend the rest of the way up the tower and then on in to the village.

Takumi would stand by patiently as the guards performed their duty. He made note of the checks and even double checks the guards were doing. He would have to add these extra steps to his own security at the institute. Without hesitation, Takumi would give his name and reason for visiting. Next was his country of origin, Takumi City...which seemed awkward when written out...but it was the truth. His mother even wanted him to be an artisan, not a ninja. Finally, carried goods, he would empty out what he carried on him. Some basic ninja tools such as senbon, snowflake shuriken and his former Kirigakure ninja headband. With all these things accounted for, he would lead the way inside.

__ Kagami accepted the clipboard, pen, and required customs forms. She filled out all of the information accurately such as her name as Kagami Hari, her place of birth as Kirigakure, her purpose for visiting as meeting her friend's sister Chie, and recorded all goods on her person. She submitted the forms and followed behind Takumi as they climbed the tower and entered the village. From there they would continue to walk until they would reach their destination.

Taylor absentmindedly thanked the guard as he handed him the clipboard. Apparently manners were something he had automatically. The boy filled out his home village as Sunagakure, which was true based on his current memories. Nothing explained yet, however, why he didn't have his headband on him. For his purpose of coming, he hesitated before writing anything. How could he even explain the basics of why he was here? Eventually, he decided to settle on, "finding friends". Taylor didn't know if anyone would even recognize him in this village, but he certainly had to at least try. Finally, Taylor wrote out a detailed list of the weapons he had. Apparently Taylor was some kind of serious combat ninja given the amount of ninja tools he had on his person. He hoped that he would never need to use half of it as he followed his other two members into the village, with Horus flying above.

Approaching the gates, Takumi would near Kagami. He shook his head softly, speaking to the woman as they would walk side by side. " This trip did not turn out as planned. My sister is...more stubborn than remembered. However... there is an interesting boy in the academy. I think we can look forward to seeing his progress." He would remain quiet for another moment. " Oh. The boy. He will have to wait. He's a liability. Whatever ties he has to these people need to be established before we can allow him to safely stay among us. What did you learn?"
Kagami would answer his questions as they reached the roads of the land of eddies.

Chie stormed the village gates. Ninjutsu flared from her in a haphazard and yet safe manner. She had no interest in causing any damage or hurting anyone. She just wanted Vortex attention as quickly as possible. As village guards approached her she immediately stopped her technique. She then gave the descriptions of the two rogues she knew about and asked if they left. The guards confirmed that they did, and Chie sighed. However, she then realized that, according to the description, only two of them left. That meant that the third member, the one the blue haired girl said passed out in the dojo, had not left. Chie then instructed the Vortex ninja to go and arrest that ninja for crimes against Uzushiogakure. As a half of dozen vortex ninja left, she took a second to take a breath. She was furious, but she needed to calm down. Once she calmed down, she went off to train.

Since Chie is giving it to you, you can consider this the D-ranked mission which requires you to do a job of a higher ranking ninja. Even though you guys are academy students, this is a legitimate concern to the village and it should be fine to be allowed.

__ Zhi's sensory gave a pretty damn good lead for where they could not only test themselves but also do good for Uzushio as well as the Land of Whirlpools as a whole. Awajishima was laid out as a whole to her and her extensive sensory prowess. Zhi appropriately addressed the stationed guards to check herself out. She'd be back soon after she finished her investigations.
Upon arriving at the gates, Shinsei was stopped by a VORTEX member overlooking the exit. The shinobi inquired upon Shinsei's name, rank and title, and whether or not he was allowed to exit the village without express permission or supervision. He took hold of Shinsei's credentials, including a log of missions he had completed and performed.
"Shinsei Sanada, Genin of Uzushiogakure. I am informing you of my exit of this village," he stated. The VORTEX officer shook his head.
"You are not allowed to leave without express permission from the Uzukage or your squad leader. Please return to the village."
Shinsei sighed, rolling his eyes. "Ugh, fine," he said. Villages were . . . so constraining. He headed towards the Dojo.
__ The jounin followed behind his mission partner, Zhi. He gave his identification to the guards and would be allowed to pass through. The duo would return soon once their missions were completed.
