Ros followed along with the tour half-asleep on her feet, a very tired DYB trailing slightly behind her. At this point, her hand in his seemed to be the only thing keeping him upright and, though Alma's enthusiasm was certainly infectious, the allure of the already set up bedrooms was strong.

She smothered a huge yawn with her free hand then stooped to pick up DYB and parked him on her hip while she tried to think of a way to properly convey how grateful she felt. "I think we can worry about getting it filled out and furnished tomorrow. For the moment, it's... perfect. I, we can't possibly thank you enough." She paused there, fighting a serious case of the weepies. Her and DYB had been extremely lucky, met with unmitigated kindness at every turn. Surreptitiously wiping her eyes, she gave the other pae a watery smile. "I'm sorry. I guess I'm just tired," she murmured, stepping into the second bedroom to settle DYB in for the night.

After tucking him in, she returned to the main living space to say good nights and more thank yous as she saw Alma out then turned back, already mapping out seating arrangements and thinking about building a life here. Still a little overemotional, she retired to her new bedroom and sat down on the bed, looking out the window and rehashing the day in her mind's eye. How long she sat there in contemplation she couldn't say but, at some point, her musings were interrupted by a small voice.

"'Ozlyn?" DYB asked from the doorway, sporting the ruffled bed-head look.

"Oh, hey Bestie. I thought you were asleep. Is something the matter?"

"Nah. I just woke up," he answered, shifting a little from one foot to the other. "But, was wonderin'... Could I sleep here wif you?"

"Of course." Smiling, she scooted to the side and opened her arms to him. When he climbed up next to her, she hugged him close and then settled them both under the blankets. "Don't worry, you'll get used to it. And tomorrow we can start making it our own and figuring out where exactly we fit in with all this." Turned out, though, that her voice was falling on deaf ears. DYB was already asleep again. "Sleep well," she said softly, closing her own eyes.
