Personality: Pampered and somewhat self-absorbed, but not maliciously so, his biggest flaw is an inflated view of his own importance. Vain, the quickest way into his good books is to flatter his ego. With that said, he takes his duties as a Valkyrie seriously, taking a great deal of pride in his dedication to it. Personality:
Strong-willed, but also very aware of his position, and the duties that go along with it, Zhi Qiang (or simply Zhi to family members and/or those very close to him) holds the traditional values of the pride very dear. That isn't to say he won't ever break a rule, or do anything wrong--he'd just be careful to avoid doing things that he would feel could bring shame to his family, or the pride as a whole.
A skilled hunter, he's the sort who, once he embarks on a task, won't give up unless he's thoroughly exhausted all possibilities, even if it means bringing pain, or greater hardship upon himself. This same stubborn streak, and focus, means that he's quite observant, and relatively cool-tempered, as a rule. Family (and by this, I also include the more extended 'family' that one might consider a pride to be) is paramount, in his eyes--although not necessarily in the way we might typically envision a close family bond. It's something colored strongly by a sense of duty.
That said, he isn't entirely self-sacrificing, or overly heroic, either--he would give his life to defend the lives, and values, that the pride holds dear-but only if the situation really merited it (i.e. he's hardly likely to get into a fight-to-the-death over someone mocking, or belittling them, to give one extreme example.)
Perhaps his greatest flaw is that he sometimes finds it hard to connect, on a personal level--that's not to say that he doesn't feel affection for individuals, or that he's incapable of relating at -all- on a one-to-one basis...but he can sometimes be rather oblivious to individual non-essential needs, including his own. He's also quite arrogant, and would certainly view most with a certain air of superiority, given his high rank (and, with non-pridal members, an inherent understanding that their way of life is inferior to that of the Tianxia).

History: Born in the rogue lands, while Lioba loves her family dearly, she has always craved the more extensive bonds that only a pride can provide - unfortunately, one of the things she found was that most prides just do not accept (or if they do, they accept with limitations) is hybrids like herself. She has always carved trinkets from small stones, or bits of leftover bone in her spare time, and since making her way to the Skiringssal, has taken an interest in learning to work pelts, as the ones she has seen since joining are incomparable in their quality.
Personality: Gentle, welcoming and affectionate, Lioba tends to look for the best in others, and as a result can sometimes come across as a bit of a doormat, as she will go to extremes to avoid conflict. Craves approval, and has a strong desire to be well-liked by her peers and her pridemates, and so also has a hard time saying no.

Personality: Independent and somewhat inclined to take herself a bit too seriously, Hila also has a biting, snarky sense of humor, without being outright malicious. A firm believer in her own talents, she has nothing if not an abundance of faith in her own abilities, whether that be her dream of being a captain someday, or in her rather competitive nature.
With that said, she does have an understanding of fair play, and while she might not always like subscibing to it, she tries to not cross the line too far - after all, she'd rather have companions to play with than be stuck getting bored on her own. On the sensitive side, if she feels like she's being mocked or made fun of (other than snarky back-and-forth) can make her pretty prickly.
