Almary clung to Subra, shaking now that the situation was out of his hands and his responsibility. He'd done what he could by getting Subra to come here, by getting her to bring her court here to help, and now... now there wasn't really anything else for him to do. Well, moral support, he supposed, but that sounded pretty useless in terms of actually helping anyone. (Still, it wasn't like he could leave - Coffinite kept clinging to and hiding behind him. It was weird, how protective he was of people he saw as kids.)

But when it came to something as big as - as murder... he didn't really have any answers. Save that it wasn't going to help anyone or make up for it if Coffinite wasn't helped here.. But if he was helped here, what would happen next? Almary had never seen a purification, never been involved with one. He didn't know what it would mean for the half-youma. Maybe someone else would have a better idea? Or at least be able to handle the kind of questions the Lieutenant was asking, because he couldnt, and this was all way too much for him to wrap his ind around, let alone be able to help anyone else wade through.

Okay. Okay. A murderer? Well, Forte didn't know what the lady they'd helped had done before she purified, so she couldn't say if there was a precedent or not. But the guy did seem to regret it, and - would he even remember that he had done something like that once they fixed him up? Ugh. This was a mess, and she didn't like it much, but if the rest of her court thought he should be helped, then okay. It wasn't like she was any kind of a saint either - though murder was definitely a bit beyond anything she'd ever done. (Her old man, maybe not, but she'd tried not to think about what he got up to before foster care finally decided to step in when he got his a** arrested... and this really wasn't the time to think about her own issues, anyway.)

She'd help if the others decided to help, even with that mini-bombshell hanging over them. If nothing else it would mean one less chaos agent, and he might be a safer person to have around after a purification. Who knew? It couldn't hurt to try, at least. And it wasn't like she (or... probably anyone else) could stand by and let him hurt himself, or... wait around for someone to decide they were angry enough to attack someone who had no intention of even trying to fight back. Ugh. That would never end well and none of their consciences could take it. Not when they were all about helping.

... Ugh. She really wanted to find a problem she could punch soon. Helping was great, she liked helping! It was a great feeling, finally managing to make a positive difference in the world. But in some ways, fighting was less of a headache, and it would be nice to have a simple 'punch the thing' option sooner rather than later...
