Limbree; Post 1

The winter, time of rest for the earth and sleep for most the beasts she knew about. Skitter-eek wasn't one of those that took to winter sleeping. Limbree hoisted the nimble handed beast over her shoulder as she waited for others to disembark from the airship. Her attire one that did well in the winter weather, at her back her crossbow and small quiver of bolts laid at her waist.

"Back here again it seems. Last encounter wasn't the most enlightening." Limbree told Skitter as she merged with the rest of the traffic. "Hopefully the reception will be better, without the bows pointed in our direction." She gave a shiver at the memory, then again if the roles had been reversed, she might have done the same.

Stopping a moment outside the ship, her feet hitting the snow with a dull thud. It certainly was brisk, but she could handle it. It couldn't be any worse then home. Looking around at the many mainlanders that were gathering, a few of her own mingling with them. Whelp, time to see what was going on, she might as well join the pandemonium. What fun this was going to be...

Jakkoa | 2

Jakkoa had been surprised at Hargitt’s determination that they be here—more by the degree of determination itself than anything else. He rarely saw Hargitt push for anything of his own regard. And on the few occasions that he did, Jakkoa often surprised himself by being inclined simply to go along with it. He got his own way most of the time, Hargitt didn’t ask for much, and over the course of a long journey, surely he owed him this much at least. Besides, one relatively brief delay would not be the end of them in the grand scheme.

He could simply wait.

So he did. Waited, and watched — and there certainly was no paucity of things to observe. Still, he didn’t see why they-

Fingers brushed his, dragging his attention immediately from the busy activity of scowling-at-a-small-noisey-child down to where Hargitt’s calloused digits were winding their way loosely between his to grip. It will be over soon. Jakkoa, quite in spite of himself, felt an embarrassed flush crawl up his neck and towards his long ears, gold eyes flitting towards the taller, semi-behemoth at his side. Was he that visibly contentious?

Probably.

He made a focused effort to relax his expression with a soft noise, and gripped back lightly at the hand in his, far more pleased by the gesture than he had any need to be, and handily choosing to ignore entirely the warm swell it inspired in his chest. Maybe the entire scene wasn’t so bad. “When you say it like that,” he teased with a touch of flippancy softened only by the stubborn edge of a smile playing at his lips, “it sounds like we are all going to die…”

Draven; Post 1

Draven had backtracked to Suati, unsure of why exactly. But he felt that he had to, a gut feeling as it were. Mounted on Regale's back, finding it was a faster means of travel, even if the Janarim wasn't in the least bit pleased to have his charge on his back. Draven had bribed the beast immensely to get him to allow just the saddle to be placed on his back. That had been a challenge in itself...

Coming to a stop, and pulled his mammu fur lined cloak around him as the wind came to n**. Draven looked around, Regale looked back at Draven with a huff. "Alright, alright, you have had enough." Draven smiled as he eased off Regale's back and to the ground. "That better?"

Regale's answer was shaking after the boy had slid off making the links of the saddle jingle. It only made Draven laugh as he collected the reigns up and started walking, Regale following behind as if he had any other choice. Looking around the town, he noticed a large gathering. Even more, there were a couple ships from Belrea docked. This was strange...

"Come on, lets go see what is going on. Perhaps it has to do with those creatures from a few months ago?" Draven looked towards the Janarim while he was talking as if it would answer. In a way, Regale did with just a huff and nudged his charge forward, he was hungry and this standing around wasn't getting him fed.

Lixes/Jerami Post 1

Drexl Post 1

Drexl wrapped one arm around Jerami as his lance was slipped into a better position for him to swing it to the ready. He pressed a kiss to his beloved's forehead before looking to his brother. "I have faith the coldness will be a great deteriant to them. It is to most of our beasts." He hated leaving Miqwe behind like he did...but he knew the beast was going to be safer back home than here. "Think Dad and Pop are okay with us here?"

He knew that answer. He smirked to his brother as he asked it. Then glanced down to Jerami. "You can always rely on me." he muttered as he nuzzled the other.

Eira Post 2

Eira was walking along, her golden eyes scanning the crowd, taking in everyone that was present. So many interesting people from various different tribes. She really did find herself wanting to go up to every last one of them to say hello, to see how they were doing, if they had decided where they were staying after the meeting, and various other business minded things. It would be a good idea to offer out her inn, with slightly reduced rates for those at the meeting, to make sure all those who'd traveled this far had a place to stay. It was tempting, so very tempting, but she should first consider the mood.

Everyone seemed to be far too tense for her liking, waiting for the meeting to start. They might not be very amused if she went about trying to sell them things quite yet. Better to wait until the mood was lightened and hopefully whatever news those in charge had would help with that.

She continued forward, ever trying to find a good place to stand, and due to her mind being so busy didn't see the one that she would then bumped into. Giving a bit of a squeak she turned to look over at said person, about to scold them despite it being her fault, when she saw who it was. Well now, wasn't he a cute little thing? Giving him her best smile Eira said, "Do forgive me, Sweetie, I didn't see you there. Seems I should pay better attention."

Lixes Post 2

Giving a thoughtfuls ound he said, "I'm sure it will be fine. It's just a meeting to discuss what to do about the Dretch, it's news that we can bring back to them so they can prepare too. We both know how much our dads hate the Dretch." One because the Dretch almost killed him, the other because the Dretch almost killed Rilind, it was a good way to make a couple hate something. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking around the area, sizing up the others that had gathered. There really were some interesting people here, huh?

Turning to look over his brother and Jerami he gave a little wrinkle of his nose and said, "Look here you two. I will leave if you act too lovey dovey for too long. Try to remember that I'm still single." Not that he was looking at the moment, too busy with his hero work, but that didn't mean he couldn't tease the two of them just a bit.

Jerami Post 2

Jerami glanced between the brothers, then flushed a bit. They were talking about if their parents would be happy with them being at the meeting and he could only wonder the same. Not only had he left to join another of these gatherings but this time around he hadn't even brought his sisters along. Something that he should have done but they seemed to be caught up in their own things and he didn't want to bother them. As he was able to tag along with Drexl and Lixes he felt it would be alright in the end... that or he might end up grounded again. Hard to say.

As Lixes piped up about leaving if they kept doing what they were doing he flushed a bit, lifting his hands up to hide his face with his gloves, "Ah! Sorry Lixes. I wasn't being considerate of your status. I hope you forgive me."

Ergon post 2

Glaring around at the various bodies shivering and wandering about, Ergon's expression finally shifted a little when he was bumped into. He was ready with his own snarl when he saw it was a fellow iceling, and a lovely woman at that. Clearing his throat, he shook his head and smiled politely. "All is forgiven, I assure you. There was no harm done. You do seem quite distracted though.. is there something I may help you with? Or are you preoccupied with the purpose of this meeting like everyone else seems to be?"

Urosangylea post 2

Little specks sparked in Uro's vision occasionally, and she wondered if this was the negative energy she suspected of turning into ice. Gazing around, she happened to stop next to a Sautian girl apparently around her age.

The most fascinating part was the sparks around her. Pretty much everyone had the negative sparks, but this girl also had softer waves that attempted to push the sparks away. How neat! "Here, allow me to help," she offered sweetly, reaching up to pluck at the lingering sparks and toss them away.

Drexl Post 2

The biggest male of the trio rolled his eyes at his brother. "Oh get over it...Rajini was pretty cute. She would do well with you." he teased. Honestly he would of loved to see his brother end up with another. Either Female or Male, it didn't matter. All that mattered was that the other was happy.

He looked down to his beloved. "Hey hey...he's a big boy. He can get over it." he nuzzled the other. "Don't fret love."

Jacinthus Post 2

Jacinthus found himself looking from side to side, his sharp hunter senses staying on guard, wanting to be ready if anything popped up. He had his bow with him, had plenty of arrows in his quiver, he was ready this time for the Dretch. He wouldn't let them get the best of him again, would attack them without any sort of hesitation. It was what had to be done to make sure that people were kept safe. He'd done so in the past and he'd do so now, even if he hadn't planned on ever using his bow to kill anything bigger then a witu after the last war he'd gotten caught up in.

Shaking his head he continued forward, falling into what was a bit of a patrol of sorts out of habit. He was checking out each and every person present, seeing them as both potential allies and potential victims, he had to keep an eye on them as well to make sure that things only went smoothly. Given his experience and age it was the least that he could do the the people and for the elders... and the sooner all of this was wrapped up the sooner he could return to Yera where he wanted to be.

Giving pause in his patrol as he spotted a girl that was ill dressed for the weather he said, "There is someone taking advantage of the crowds and the weather by selling cloaks, it might help you." He had no affiliation with the merchant but still felt that he should point the woman in that direction so she didn't risk frostbite. If she was weakened too much she might end up a target and Jacin wouldn't want that even if he didn't know the woman.

The Only Black Uke

Hargitt | 2

It was...oddly satisfying, seeing the normally very confident, very in charge of himself Jakkoa with flustered skin. Hargitt was observant enough to see the change, and while he didn't immediately smirk he- who was he kidding? He totally did. It was small, one that could have been easily missed if one wasn't paying attention, but it was there, all the same.

"We are... just not today." If the crystals on his hips were a little smaller he may have nudged Jakkoa, but as it stood he coaxed the smaller man closer by guiding their joined hands a little closer to his side. "See anyone you recognize?" There wasn't many that Hargitt knew in the crowd, but it was possible that one of Jakkoa's connections could be among the gathered lot. If so it might be a good idea to swap information after this whole thing went down, but for the moment he was content enough to have his 'traveling partner' close at hand.

Sure, if the Dretch were to show up they could easily take either one of them, but maybe, linked as they were, they would at least be taken together.

Elia ll 2

The young debutante smoothed her gloved hands down the front of her dress, subconsciously brushing off any flecks of dirt. Of course there weren't any, but the act helped calm her nerves some. There was so much tension here that she could almost smell it, and Elia wanted nothing more than to run away from it all...

...and then the leaf girl showed up.

She'd never met anyone from Tale before, so she could only suspect the girl was leaf, given her appearance and what she'd read up on. Elia blinked her dark eyes, and opened her mouth, confusedly closed it and just...staring. "....pardon?" Was there...something wrong with her? Elia didn't see a caretaker with the girl, but surely she had one, right? She was plucking things out of the air and that couldn't be normal.

Orpheus Solon

Neryssa; Post 2

A small squeak came from the Matorian as someone spoke up behind her. With knees knocking a little she turned around to stare at Jacinthus as if he had two heads for a few seconds. Her fin like ears had been hidden in her hair in a means to try and keep them warm at the very least.

"Oh. Thank you, I forgot how cold it gets, even over here. Matori is always seasonably warm no matter the time of year." She smiled slightly, even though she didn't know if she could walk to search for one of those cloak sellers. "I should have been thinking when I thought to come back to grab a couple things. So do you know where everyone is going to be for this meeting of sorts?"

Callum ll 1

Callum looked around the gathering with a passive eye. There were a fair amount of jittery souls, all pressed together and fearful, but just as many ready to attack any shadow they could see. Depending on how the leaders worded their speeches, Callum could easily see a mob breaking out, but he hoped it wouldn't come to that. Surely the fact that the Belreans had managed to come here meant they were all going to talk things out and....

...when had that ever really worked.

"Wonder what they've come up with," he murmured. It seemed largely like an alkidike problem, and without the alkidike here Callum wondered what they actually planned to accomplish.
