Giving a bit of a laugh Li said, "Have you met my mother? There is very little that she forgets and even less when it comes to the inn. She means to drill everything into my head so that I will be ready for what is to come. She had to learn by trial and error and doesn't want me to deal with the same sort of learning curve or so she says." It made some times with his mother a bit like being in the military but he understood, she wanted the best for him, for this place, and for their guests.

"As for how it's going I am learning. I'm young yet so it can be hard on occasion to get some of the visitors to listen to me seriously but they are starting to understand that I am the heir to this place." He explained, glad for those like the group of hunters that were visiting today that did listen to him. Not that he'd had to demand anything serious of them, just the usual like taking their weapons before they came in and the like.

Giving a bit of a sigh he said, "Presently I am working hard to make sure my girls are well trained in useful ways. It turns out that they get a lot bigger then I thought they did and my mother has rules against the size of pets that are allowed inside." He watched the loatoa for a time before he said, "Maarit hunts for pests and Stormy is a dancer, so I hope that will be enough."

Li watched the beast as they went from playing around to just racing around the common room, over and under chairs, but luckily never on the tables or near the hunters. It was as though the girls new that they could play but they couldn't get in the way of the guests. He watched them for a time before he turned to look at Uli, giving him a confused sort of look, "Scared why? I mean I was born to be what I am, not in some philosophical sense but because my mother purposefully had me to be her heir. I have no reason to worry save for the worry that some people won't like a male dancer entertaining them as much as they do someone built like mother."

He lounged back in his seat in a lazy manner, lifting a hand to toy with his braid and said, "There is no reason you should be scared either. You're training with your uncle, you'll probably train with mine, and then you will come here to work with me. It's easy as that. Well, unless you decide to travel the world sharpening your skills as some magic users are known to do."

"Oh? Yeah, I suppose that is always something to think about. I figure that I am young enough and not even in charge or anything, so I don't really have to worry about an heir quite yet. I will have to eventually though, huh?" Such a pain. He'd rather think about more important things, like his training, like learning all the ins and outs of the inn, to help think of new things to add. That was the sort of thing that he wanted to do at the moment, not think about kids.

"You shouldn't worry too hard. Surely Riya is gonna help out with all of that, right?" He blinked a couple times as Uli's water started to freeze itself over, something that had him starring at it, "It will never get old seeing people do magic like that. The way that my Uncle casts spells, now seeing you do it." It was a skill that he found it a shame he didn't inherit but it was fine, he was meant to be a dancer, not a caster, and that was that.

Lifting a hand he poked Uli in the forehead and said, "Don't do that, you're gonna end up with wrinkles, Uli."

"I'm sure that it all comes with time. I wonder if my uncle had to deal with those sorts of things when he was younger or something." He murmured in a curious manner, stretching out all over, crossing his arms behind in his head in a thoughtful manner. He wanted to nudge Uli forward to where Li wanted him to go... but supposed that he really couldn't do that, huh? Not as though he was in charge yet so he should really leave him to choose his own path, right?

"Hm?" He looked over at him, giving him a thoughtful look, "Well... unless you went about creating a rival inn trying to destroy my own I'm sure that we will remain as friends. I mean I did hold you not long after you were born after all, how can I forget about that? You were the tiniest little thing once." Then again he was pretty small at the time too which might have made him seem smaller. He lifted his hands to look them over, then said, "I kind of miss carrying you around a bit."

"Maybe once another baby is born into one of our families I can babysit or something."

"I will likely do the same as my mother unless something happens. Presently I can't say I have an interest in any great, whirlwind romance with some woman. I'd rather just find a surrogate that I can trust to carry my heir one day." He thought on who his father might have been from time to time but wasn't ever too worried about it. Why should he be? He had his mother and the rest of the troupe so why worry about some artist that he'd never met?

Looking over at Uli then shook his head as he got up, "You can nap in my room. I don't trust your training buddy not to hassle you if you sleep elsewhere." While Uli slept he could always chase the jerk off or ask Gyuri to ban him from the inn. He could sleep outside for all he cared. Was that catty of him? Probably.

"Maarit, Stormy! We are going to the back room." He called out, giving a whistle that caught the attention of the girls. They turned in his direction then raced over to him, allowing him to scoop them up. Maarit remained in his arms while Stormy draped herself across his shoulders in a lazy way. He gave a smile before walking over to the door, opening it up, "Uli, Markel, this way! I will see about tucking you in before I go back to work."

"Huh, that could be interesting. I think it's always a good thing to have someone to grow up with that is close to your age. I know that it was fun for me at least." He had been able to play with Uli and Riya a lot when he was younger, which he felt was good for him. If his own child could have a similar experience with Uli's child and Riya's if she ever had them he would be quite happy with that.

"Sure thing! I understand people no longer wanting Riya to nap with me but it seems silly not to let you." He said, giving a lazy shrug of one shoulder as he moved ahead to open up the door to his room, looking inside, then gave a sigh of relief, "It's actually fairly neat in here at the moment. I will let you in on a secret, my girls here are little monsters when it comes to making a mess. They love nothing more then to steal some of my stuff and hide it under the bed. So if anything of yours ever goes missing that's why."

As though to agree the girls in his arms set to squeaking, something that had him laughing. He put the girls down and went to clear some clothes off the bed, tossing them onto his desk, and said, "There you go!"

It took everything in Li's power to keep his hold on the girls as Uli took off his various jewelry, knowing by the way they were wiggling that they wanted to steal his stuff. Giving a little shake of his head he said, "Behave you two, you can try your hand at stealing from him later. When he's awake and has a fair shot of fending you off."

Giving the pair a hug he headed out of the room, "Come on, let's get back to work. We have a group of hunters that might want their mugs refilled." He said, closing the door behind himself before he dared to let the two loatoa go. They checked the door, scratching at it, but once they knew they couldn't get in they were back to following Li around. They could steal Uli's things later, for now it was time to play!
