"Let me show you the supreme art that is service." Dragon Kin→ Maid
| WITH: Lucy and the 'Rents Are Somewhere Around | WHERE: Home/Work | FEELING: Fun | Natalia's back immediately straightened when Rowan made his presence known, his glare being met with a nervous smile. Well, well, there goes that idea. Although~, something has happened, hasn't it? The Armament that had fused with the knight's body was no longer the dark color it had been before, not mainly. In fact, it was just the opposite: stark white. His hair was a different style, and the way he carried himself had altered slightly, very slightly. Nat's pale red eyes looked over the man for a moment as he turned his attention to his darling little sister. I feel like I missed something important. Well, that is not fair at all, is it? "Oh, master! Welcome home! Did you two enjoy yourselves? I hope not too much!" she stood with her hands on her hips, winking. Lucy stood as well, dashing straight to welcome the two home.
"Welcome home! How are you?" the girl asked Rowan in return with a big smile on her face. The change in the man's choice-of-style was not lost on her, of course. Unlike Natalia, she did not read to far into it. "You brought dogs home? Really?" There was no hiding the girl's excitement. Alistair seemed interested in the mention of animals as well. "Of course I missed you. I think Nat was running out of ideas, though. We can have it now, though," she offered. While Lucy was well-aware of the dragon woman's antics, that didn't make it any less fun.
"I don't cheat! I simply tilt the playing field!" In little Lucy's favor. Natalia froze a little when Rowan mentioned a cute chef, revealing that he had overheard her conversation with Lucy. She had a tendency to completely melt around the girl and tried to not be caught like that by the young man. Natalia was a maid, after all, not a mom. Unfortunately, professionalism was thrown right out the window (not that she had planned on practicing such in the first place). "Cute? Yes," the dragon-kin confirmed with a confident grin. "Chef? I don't believe Mr. Alistair agrees." Neither did she. The woman had, indeed, gotten much better at cooking since being "hired" by Rowan. The improvement was thanks to Blake's father, but she still burned things every once in a while. Natalia narrowed her eyes, them darting back and forth between the two men as they discussed what they made sound like Lucy. She had a feeling it wasn't about Lucy. The woman sighed and shrugged, willing to drop the subject and get to lunch. Rowan was still on the topic, however, turning on the dragon with emotionless expression.
Staring back into his eyes, the woman simply blinked, stunned that he would propose such a thing... especially without some snide look! Stoicism was his, thing, sure, but was he attempting to tease her or offering a possible compliment. "What are you talking about, Master? Lady Blake might be an idol, but I'm very aware of just how cute I am." Natalia still wore her sly smile, but she was almost attempted to blush at such a confusing statement. She almost forgot to put some sort of honorific on Blake's name, he was throwing her off so much. Was this payback for the other day? Entertainment because of it? She stared at the man with a suspicious look before leaning back to sigh. "If that is what you wish, Master, then alas~ It cannot be helped. What good maid can turn down a gift or even go without a uniform?" As if she didn't already have a maid uniform. Several of them. Some legit, some basic cosplay. That's right. She knew what cosplay was. Her client was an idol. "So, what's your preference, hmm? We can get one for Lady Blake, too. You haven't done that kind of shoot yet, have you, dear?" the woman asked, bending at the waist.
When Rowan turned back to Lucy, the girl's eyes lit up when he placed some gold in her hand. A gift from him was something precious after all. "Really? Haha, okay! Thank you! Let's watch a couple episodes, too! I think you'll like it!"

~Rowan~ "A Knight's duty is to protect... but that's not the reason I fight for Blake! It's because she's the person I want to protect the most in this world! ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
"Don't mistake patience with softness, old man. Making statements about whether or not I let Lucy win is something I won't stand for." Rowan stated rather blandly, turning to the man as he defended the sanctity of his little sister's victories. As for what he stated about Natalia, Rowan could not help but shrug at the statement. The woman was pretty much as crystal clear as she could possibly be. Natalia had really started watching what she did around others apparently. Or maybe Alistair was just covering for her since he had developed a soft spot. Rowan would not be able to guess, as he had only just recently come back into their lives. Instead of dwelling on the subject, however, Rowan merely turned his attention back to Lucy. "Yes, I brought back dogs. They're giant dogs that even sparkle. I'm sure they'll fit right in with your other pets." Rowan stated, picking her up and holding her as he spoke. Rowan was not aware of whatever bonds she may have formed with the animals Blake and the others had been taking care of... but he was sure she at least rode around on the polar bear.
As Natalia continued the conversation about maid outfits, despite Blake's attempt at intervention, his eyes casually drifted over towards the dragonkin. "I don't think a maid outfit would suit Blake... maybe something a bit more... elvish..." Rowan stated in response to her words, staring at Blake for a few moments. "I don't care for dress-up, however, so I don't really have an opinion on the matter." He commented, dropping the subject almost entirely as he tried to intervene a little bit as well. Blake probably was not comfortable with stuff like this, and Rowan did not want to subject her to any tortures that were not absolutely necessary. Lucy's voice brought his attention back to her, his head snapping towards her rather quickly as he began to respond almost immediately. "I suppose I could watch... a few. I've never been one to sit in front of a television though." Rowan commented, remembering how he used to sit in front of his parents' television to hear about Knights and Mages. What was on television here, however, was vastly different from their world.
"Blake and I will take you shopping tomorrow. I'm sure she has a few meetings she has to attend anyway. After all, she's been gone for half a week. The phone must be ringing constantly." The Knight commented as smiled to himself slightly. It's been a long time since I've walked through a marketplace with Lucy. I still remember the last few days we spent together before I went off on that mission. We went to buy some bread and cheese since she wanted some grilled cheese for dinner. Rowan's mind was filled with the blissful memory as he turned his attention back towards Blake, addressing the woman with a bit more warmth than he intended. "We should go shopping in Akihabara, right? I heard that's where most of the stuff Lucy likes is at anyway. I'm sure we'll find some discs there we can buy." He commented, not too familiar with the cities and prefectures in Japan. A lot of the time places just blended in whenever he was walking about. If it was not for his third eye he might have even gotten lost a few times.

"Let me show you the supreme art that is service." Dragon Kin→ Maid
| WITH: Alistair, Blake, Lucy, and Rowan | WHERE: Home/Work | FEELING: Curious | Natalia had this feeling that if she snickered at Rowan’s thoughts on what Blake would look good in, she would certainly regret it. As much as the woman wanted to poke fun at him over the statement, there would be retaliation. That’s at least what the dragon kin thought. Nonetheless, a smug grin spread across her face. It was curious, after all. Never before the merging would Natalia had thought she would hear such opinions from her “employer”. Most had been under lock-and-key. Did he learn something new in those three months after The Moment or was this a more recent lesson? It all had the woman quite curious. “Well, of course it is my scene, dear. That is my ‘job’,” Nat agreed, making finger quotes on the last word. Job would imply a couple things: 1. That she was getting paid. 2. It wasn’t something she enjoyed. Not that she enjoyed cleaning and learning how to not burn food, but there could be worse circumstances. Everyone mostly cleaned up after themselves, Lucy was an absolute doll, there was plenty of eye-candy to go around, funding was not scarce. Being subjugated by someone known as a dragonslayer was a little confusing but maybe that same person being a man she brutally murdered is more so? “No opinion, huh...?" Nat eyed the Knight curiously before turning back to Blake. "Ro- rather, Master does have a point, though!” the dragon started, strolling over. "Your more popular photos are in outfits that accentuate your heritage. Why, oh why, you've taken such a liking to the clothes of this world is beyond me.” Natalia leaned over the back of the couch and poked at one of the elf's ears.
“Alright!” Lucy agreed with a nod to her older brother when he agreed. “Just a few. Then we can do whatever you want. You know, take turns.” Her offer was enthusiastic, and the interactions between the siblings caused the dragon kin both comfort and distress. That they could be like this again was heartfelt. The little girl had one the dragon kin over while gushing about her missing brother after all. No one had even told the poor thing what had happened to the man. Perhaps that was the best at this point, but it was all rather sad. Sadness she spawned. The thought lingered, souring both Natalia's mood and expression as they went on to make plans for shopping tomorrow. Rowan was acting a little... strange, however. It wasn't in a bad way, oh no. In fact, this more open attitude was phenomenal, but it was curious indeed. She understand him being warm and caring toward Lucy, and he acted mostly the same between her and Alistair. No, something happened on their little sabbatical. But what?
"I had cancelled or postponed most of her schedule until the weekend, but there are plenty who would be happy to to pick up one or two for tomorrow. Akihabara, huh? Lady Blake is not wrong in that you will both be popular there. I'm not too sure whether it is more accurate to say that we fit right in there or stand out the most." The dragon whipped out her cellphone and began mass-sending emails and texts, her fingers moving at unnecessary speeds. "Oh yes, I can find plenty for you two to do there. Those shows of Lucy's may even be relatively cheap there. Oh! Yes! I almost forgot! Blake, they gave me an idea for you!" Closing everything, Natalia pulled up a video of some kind of clothing transformation sequence from an anime. She held it out for the idol to see. "You can use your Creation spell to do this, darling! Can you not? It would only be a matter of timing and perfect when we finally agree to getting you on stage~!" She was clearly getting excited for this. What she was more interested in, or more accurately, more interested in now was what happened to make Gram all glorified, Rowan more genuine, albeit only slightly, and even Blake seemed to have a sliver more confidence than before. "But! We can talk more about that later!" The woman hopped up and sat on the back of the couch with crossed legs, head in her hands, staring directly at Rowan. "I am quite sure we all want to hear how things went. You cannot leave all dark and brooding and come back all knight and shining and not expect me to ask questions, Master. Sooo~ What happened?"

~Rowan~ "A Knight's duty is to protect... but that's not the reason I fight for Blake! It's because she's the person I want to protect the most in this world! ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
"I thought popularity was supposed to be your shtick or something. Besides, no one's going to want to get too close to you if they see me standing next to you." Rowan commented, still not really aware of the fact that he looked far less demonic and threatening than he had a while back. To him, he had always been the rather frightening-looking Knight that no one wanted to approach or talk to unless they had evil intentions or were attracted to his demeanor. Now, however, he was like a Knight straight out of tales of Earth's Arthurian legends. People may be just as interested in talking to him and figuring him out as they were trying to understand Blake. "I've dealt with dragons, basilisks, and all sorts of other creatures, I can handle a few oglers trying to take pictures of you." Rowan stated, cracking his knuckles rather menacingly compared to the appearance he currently had. Regardless of the way he dressed or the color that Gram decided to become, Rowan was still Rowan deep down inside. That meant he was horribly violent and rather merciless when it came to dealing with other people.
Turning his attention to Lucy, he crouched near her and patted her on the head rather gently. Gram's compete fusion with his body made the armored-looking hand like a second skin, capable of feeling things that it touched and also allowing him to realize how much pressure he could exert on things. "What a rather clever way to sneak in 'we'll watch more than a few, the whole series' without ever really stating that. I think your devious nature is growing a bit too quickly. We'll have to beat up Natalia for turning you into a clever little monster." Rowan stated rather sweetly to his sister, suddenly using Natalia's whole name rather than a cute nickname or anything of the sort. Just that entailed that Rowan was probably irritated a bit with Natalia and might find some way to enact vengeance later. "I don't think you're one for meditation, so we'll just introduce you to the pack later. We can even ride one of the wolves if you're good." Rowan commented, not really sure whether or not Lucy would even be interested in what Rowan usually did on his own. Being a Knight was kind of his life in a sense, and most of his free time was spent trying to either better himself or meditating to keep his senses sharp.
Natalia's voice caught his attention once again, the woman stating that their group might not go unnoticed in Akihabara. The only benefit of it was the fact that Rowan now had a completely different appearance to the one that destroyed those warehouses pretty much, effectively saving him from facing any repercussions from the battle that occurred. Given that it was impossible to really draw blood from him, they could not even discover whether or not he was at the scene of the crime as nothing short of an Armament could pierce his skin or make him bleed. His fingerprints were also nonexistent since Gram covered his hands, making him untraceable. Thinking back on it, he remembered that woman, Echo, complaining about how the only evidence they could even pull from a crime scene like that was the video footage, which was enough to attribute the actions to the Delinquent of Shibuya. Now, however, he had a completely different appearance to him from before. I guess I managed to get pretty lucky on this one. I might need to be a bit more careful in the future though, so that I don't cause too much destruction when I fight.
It was then that it finally hit Rowan, while Natalia was talking about transformation scenes, what sort of look Rowan preferred for Blake. "I'd like to see you... in something darker. And more confident." Rowan flat out stated to Blake, almost as if he was talking about something that they had been discussing all along. "That's my opinion. I think... black would suit you really well. And Fae. That's my preference." Rowan stated while looking looking away slightly, trying to hide the fact that he was uncomfortable saying such things. Perhaps her shift to her darker personality really had revealed some things that Rowan had buried deep inside him for quite a while. Honestly, he had never really put too much thought into his own preference when it came to things like clothing or women... and Blake had sort of always been the standard that he enjoyed. The idea of her in darker clothing, however, was starting to appeal to him more and more as his own appearance became lighter and lighter. Maybe it was just the natural result of things. The more white that he began to wear, the more black he would like to see Blake where. The contrast just appealed to him in a purely basic sense. Plus, it would probably work out for her fan-base if the two of them contrasted both in personality, dress, and what they wore compared to their own personalities.
As for Natalia's conversation shift towards how things went on their trip, Rowan's eyes quickly snapped to her and he spoke as if he was reciting a story he had memorized and dared anyone to question it. "I got my Armament to start working properly. Apparently it was some kind of Append Armament, and when it activated it fused to Gram and turned me into... whatever this is." Rowan commented, holding up his hands as he stared at the white, armored appendages. The drastic change was kind of alarming... although it would probably be a bit more plausible to move about in this world dressed like this. "Honestly, the whole change makes me seem like one of those protagonists plastered all over Akihabara. I don't think I'll like any of the attention this is going to bring me. When Gram was darker and I was wearing more old outfit, I was a lot more difficult to approach. People avoided me too. Now... I don't think I'll be as lucky as that." Rowan commented, pretty sure that he might get his own fan-base after he is seen in public with Blake. "Oh, and we killed a dragon, I guess that means we have another small fortune to put in the bank. Pretty soon we could probably build an even bigger mansion or have a vacation home in Eldrin or somewhere." Rowan, for the first time anyone probably ever heard him, joked as he pointed out a bag that was sitting out in the hallway, filled to the brim with dragon materials. "What about you. What did you teach Lucy while I was gone." He suddenly asked, his judgemental eyes growing darker as he began to move in on Natalia, trying to figure out what she had filled his sister's mind with.

"Let me show you the supreme art that is service." Dragon Kin→ Maid
| WITH: Alistair, Blake, Lucy, and Rowan | WHERE: Home/Work | FEELING: Curious | "Whaaat? That's not what I'm doing at all," Lucy playfully complained with a smile. "Don't blame Nat, though! I'm just excited," the girl admitted, meeting Rowan's eyes with her own. She didn't see herself as devious, but maybe the man was right and she was being a little selfish. "I'll try anything, but if that's what you want~! Wolves? They're big enough to ride? That's so cool!" Giddily, Lucy bounced on the balls of her feet, excited about riding atop a big wolf. Nat seemed excited about something too since her hand was flying ninety miles an hour over her phone screen. She was probably sending emails to try to contact someone to meet up with Blake tomorrow while they were out shopping. Japan would be fun. When she pulled up a video on her phone to show to Blake, Lucy instantly recognized the sounds on the clip.
"Oh, do not play dumb with me, darlin'. We both know that would be easy as pie for you." The dragon stuffed her phone back into her pocket with a rather annoyed glance at the duchess. "People will go crazy over it, you know, so there's no use fighting these sorts of things," she explained with a shrug and glancing over to Rowan as he began talking. Well, if elvish didn't make her bust a gut, this sudden input through her for such a loop that she couldn't hold back the fit of laughter it caused. Covering her mouth, Natalia fell backward onto the couch next to Blake, kicking her legs as she attempted to control herself. It was during this moment that Alistair had excused himself from the room. "I'm sorry! Ahaha! Please! I promise. I promise I'm sorry. That just caught me off guard!" The woman begged for her well-being between laughter. With tears in her eyes, she attempted to compose herself before crawling back up to where she had perched. "Yes, yes. Of course. That was on my list of "to-dos" anyway. I think there was a company or two looking for something along those lines anyway. I'm quite surprised your so on-board with that, Blake. It wouldn't be solely for Master's sake, hmm? Honestly, what did I miss?"
That Armament. They had gone out talking about some dagger. Armaments came in all shapes and sizes, but a dagger seemed like a rather weak one in her opinion. Who knew it was capable of all this? "Mmm, yes. You'll certainly be popular now. It's almost like you and the Delinquent of Shibuya can't even be associated. Slaying dragons is kind of your shtick, though, isn't it? I think I am more shocked that it was only one you took out." Natalia grinned with an interested expression at Rowan's attempt at humor. No, no, something else definitely happened while they were out, more than what either of them seemed to be willing to spill. Was the change in appearance a mark of a change in personality? No, he was still the same man. Perhaps there was nothing holding him back? It's not like she could guess, simply pry for information. "Heheh, if we're getting a vacation home, it is going to be where people can vacation. Speaking of locals, you mentioned something about new areas? What did you find?" The Knight's question about Lucy made Natalia narrow her eyes. "You ask that like I teach her all sorts of devious things while you are not looking. No, Master! Only wholesome lessons for this one! We went grocery shopping."
"Nat let me shop and made sure we got a good deal! No swindling for those shopkeeps!" Lucy joked with a wink.
"Haha! Lucy, dear, that makes it sound devious!"
