Nowhere does it state that the other bullets are used for digging, but have the shape of an excavation drill, and due to weight and rotation from being fired like a bullet with the force of a grenade shell, the rotation makes them function like the drill bits they're shaped like. They penetrate, not "dig", if you want to compare them to something then compare them to anti tank rounds which are used to penetrate through thick plate metal, only these don't explode.
https://media.giphy.com/media/hDXHffAYZdm12/giphy.gif

kind of like that, without the explosion.

Also, "Living Rock" does not, at all, by the traditional definition, mean the rock is alive.

"rock that is not detached but still forms part of the earth.
"a chamber cut out of the living rock" "
. . . . . . .

"According to Etymonline, living dates to the 14th century, and refers to

"the fact of dwelling in some place," from O.E. lifiende, prp. of lifan

But we hear the phrase "the living rock" used all the time. For example, in George R. R. Martin's A Storm of Swords:

Down a twisting passageway he went, narrow steps carved from the living rock, down and down.

I get that this is used in the sense of dwelling, as in the rock dwells in some place, but it still seems curious to me, even though I've accepted it every time I've encountered it in print my entire life.
Webster's 3rd New International Dictionary gives the expression "living rock" to mean

remaining uncut or unquarried: NATIVE "
In this instance an example are the statues carved into the faces of mountains and the sides of cliffs, said to be carved "from/into the living rock"

Had I said "Organic" rock you might have a point, however given the semblance and a bit of general knowledge I feel it is easy to extrapolate that the statement "Living Rock" does not, in fact refer to actual living stone.

- Please remove the spoilers under core and inventory. Make sure to keep the crew quotes spoiler though.

Natural Abilities
-" She knows a great deal about plant life such as edible and inedible plants, where to get proper sap, tinder, fiber and so on" This sounds more like a skill than a talent to me, as it is something she would have learned growing up in her agriculture community.
-"Can memorize the location of her teammates whenever she uses her semblance to cause large-scale changes to the environment" I would re-word this to be good situational or spatial awareness. People constantly move in battle, so memorizing their location doesn't make sense to me. That information would be incorrect almost immediately.
-Remember you get 2 other talents and 3 other skills.

Nature
Based on my brief interaction with Tessa, I don't believe this reflects how you post the character. She initiated conflict twice rather than tried to avoid it, once for no other reason than she was bored with her assignment in class, and she was very quick to anger, followed by becoming extremely upset and crying. She didn't show any patience (backstory), cheerfulness, or calmness.

Primary Weapon
-What function do the claws have? Based on my limited combat knowledge the claws don't seem to fit her fighting style. When I think claws, I think cat woman or wolverine making quick swipes, and moving with agility around the battlefield. Not using slow heavy punches. With a closed fist striking someone or something with Tessa's strength I feel the diamond-tipped claws would puncture her own gauntlets and she would end up stabbing herself in the palm.

-Spinning bullets are called rifled rounds and are designed for accuracy. The spinning provides stability but does not help with penetration. A standard armour penetrating round has a metal jacket with a solid core. The solid core provides a second impact allowing it to punch through.
-While you can have AP rounds, note that they are just that. Armour Piercing. They cannot penetrate aura.

Semblance:
-Post count for how long she can manipulate the Earth and post count for cooldowns once her semblance runs out.
-Living rock refers to rock that is not detached but still forms part of the earth. By this definition, she would not have been able to manipulate the pool of sand during classes as it was clearly detached from the earth. It also contradicts the statement in the description of your semblance as your level zero suggestions she can only manipulate living rock at that stage. Not any stone, soil, mineral or mucky material

Her gauntlets also wouldn't be able to hold in the detonation of a 40mm grenade shell but ignoring that for a moment, there's more than one way to punch in martial arts, one involves the second knuckles , which hurts like hell by the way, side of the hand, or palm strikes. Also the claws are primarily for digging into rock or into exposed flesh

Semblance:
-Post count for how long she can manipulate the Earth and post count for cooldowns once her semblance runs out.

She doesn't have a time limit for how long she can manipulate the earth because it's typically a single manipulation that lasts indefinitely until it either breaks or she puts it back. If you wanted a time limit I'd have to make it so she constantly manipulates the earth or that her aura drains the entire time a solid structure stays erect, which isn't how it works. The only time I would see her needing a counter for duration was if she was doing something that required a long duration like building a vertical structure out of sand or forcing something down into the mud, because both require constant exertion of the semblance.

Tessa's fighting style

GrinchBearToday at 9:04 PM
the gauntlets are there for the purpose of defense, digging and giving her strikes more force on impact, they work perfectly for who they're worn by
as for how they've worked with her style before I can explain that easily

So kind of like how Crossbones' gauntlets work?
GrinchBearToday at 9:08 PM
kind of yeah
Zen the Keeper of ChronoToday at 9:08 PM
Kk
GrinchBearToday at 9:09 PM
the idea of them is based on the iron rings of Hung Gar kung fu, a very solid and powerful style that uses the rings for adding to the impact of a proper strike
the stance is solid and low and strikes are versatile and powerful, all in all a solid defensive style
the other art her style incorporates is Bajiquan
It's built around very solid offense and explosive short range power built from momentary acceleration from the waist and body, putting more force into an otherwise short range strike
a sort of extreme example is Bruce Lee's one inch punch, which incorporates not just the arm, but almost the entirety of the torso
But Bajiquan incorporates feet, knees, waist, body, shoulder, elbow, arms and head into its style and is highly aggressive
given Tessa's size and strength, this style works well for her because she is easily able to close distances with her stride and already has a basis for a solid defense
The final part of her fighting style is her wrestling moves, which frankly work better when she has a team and she's fighting against grimm
Overall she has a solid mixed martial art that doesn't necessarily require just punching but allows for multiple extremities for means of attack and utilizes her weapons for her defense

running speed
how fast you run isnt necessarily tied to how fast you can move your hands

Yeah...with footwork
if you're in a fight you don't run at the enemy thats a few steps away from you
just about every style will tell you the importance of watching your footwork
closing the distance just means taking a step or switching your stance so you have a different striking limb at the ready

@Off Season Spooky DeadlyTiger I have given you the info regarding the background of Tessa's style of fighting, as for how it actually works it does have strikes, however it is not limited to just closed fist punches. It incorporates the elbows, shoulder, hip, knees, feet and various hand strikes including second knuckle, knife edge, spear hand and strikes with the side of the arm. Hip tosses and other techniques to force an opponent into a submission or at the very least to the ground. These don't necessarily require a commitment to extensions
Given how big a target she is, it's not the best idea for her to be swinging around something like Feng's bass because weapons like that require a commitment to the big wind up, and with such a big weapon she telegraphs her movements far too much . Were she closer to Nora's size I would agree, she'd be harder to hit if that were the case,. However her current weapon doesn't require a huge commitment to a wind up unless she's going for a haymaker which , again, very easy to telegraph and thus easy to either block or dodge @Off Season Spooky DeadlyTiger(edited)
Feng's weapon, the first part at least, works find for her fighting style as it doesn't force her to stay rooted to the spot and she can flit around as needed

Faunus Trait/Bonus Talent ▬ Iron Bones- Her bones are incredibly durable, preventing her from breaking bones under stress when using her strength, and tanking incredible amounts of damage, making her bones roughly three times as durable as those of an ordinary humans.
Other Talents ▬ She's adept at rigging temporary shelters with natural materials, has a knack for properly timing, aiming and estimating distance, particularly when using her projectiles and her semblance.

        LEARNT ABILITIES
Strongest Skill ▬ Makes up for her slow speed and large presence by compensating with her personal, unique fighting style built on the foundations of Bajiquan, Hung Gar and wrestling. The majority of Tessa's offense revolves around the high aggression, explosive, powerful strikes of Bajiquan, involving each of her extremities from her hands and feet, elbows and knees, to her shoulders and hips with momentary acceleration of the torso, putting in maximum power at a very short distance. That's not to say she's limited to simply that style of striking, she includes hip checks, shoulder strikes, and hip tosses. Her defense is built on the basis of Hung Gar, a strong, solid martial art involving sturdy low stances and powerful arms. With the majority of the defense being built around footwork and rapid, powerful parries and guards of the arms, it also taught Tessa variants of strikes beyond just the simple fist, through this she learned bridge hand strikes, spear hand strikes and the versatile tiger's claw which she uses effectively with the claws on her weapon.
The final component of Tessa's style of fighting is wrestling. Against human enemies Tessa will typically go for a choke or submission hold or pin, using the bulk of her body and strength to force people into painful positions on the floor, but will also go for more glamorous moves like throws and slams if she's enjoying the fight. However against grimm Tessa openly goes for more vicious attacks, liberally utilizing the claws of her weapon and her horn to tear at the monsters and hold in a painful grip. In her more aggressive style Tessa frequently goes for limb breaking holds and head crushing slams under her weight.

        Weakest Skill ▬ Running speed

Other Skills ▬ She knows a great deal about plant life such as edible and inedible plants, medicinal plants, where to get proper sap, tinder, fiber and so on, General survival skills including; field medicine, water filtration, spots for ideal camping, Cooking

        LIKES
        ▬ Gardening, cooking and children
        ▬ Her clan, few others
▬ Fresh vegetables, but she'd never say no to something sweet
        ▬ (Objects)
▬ Foxes and anything that's helpful around a farm, animal or bug.
        DISLIKES
▬ Most people, regardless of how she acts
        ▬ Anything greasy
        ▬ Cars
▬ Anything intrusive like rabbits and moles, things that are harmful to agriculture.
▬ She absolutely HATES air travel.
        PERSONALITY TRAITS
Nature ▬ Tessa is gentle by nature, preferring to avoid conflict and harming others without reason, but has a habit of lashing out if someone brings up a tender subject, though a good fight is one of her favorite things in life. She values honor and enjoys being around nature and seemingly has a mild case of narcolepsy, frequently falling asleep whenever she feels comfortable and letting people use her as a cushion. Despite a normally positive nature Tessa has a habit of remaining emotionally distant from people until she's fought either with or against them, mostly due to her mother's philosophy of "You don't truly know someone until you've been in battle with them"
Vernacular ▬ Typically very soft spoken, she's got a surprisingly broad vocabulary , though she tends to use to to bolster and calm others.
Positive Traits ▬ Cheerful, calming and helpful
Negative Traits ▬ Passive until provoked, deeply sensitive regarding her size, albinism and horn being made fun of. Mild racism toward humans given a negative history with them.

╫ H I S T O R Y ╫

BACKGROUND ▬ Tessa's life is not one full of glamour, heartbreak, or tragedy, in fact the only true sadness she feels is when the aphids get into her crops.
The giant rhino faunus known as Tessa is the third child of the chieftain of her clan, a group of roughly 388 faunus that formed a functioning small town. Her mother, Freja, was a legendary beast of a huntress, famed for taking on the largest of Grimm for the sport of it, at least back when it all mattered and legends carried weight with their names. Despite being not only the third child of the chieftain of her Viking like clan but also perhaps only the second strongest of the offspring, Tessa was chosen over her eldest sister and legendary fighter in her own right, Kaiju, to be the next in line for her mother's role as chieftain. This was based almost entirely on the fact that Tessa was the first "true" white rhino faunus to be born in the clan for as long as anyone could remember, and partly due to a "good feeling" her mother had.
Because of this, Tessa's life revolved around being groomed as a leader of her clan, which involved countless hours of schooling, both academic and agricultural, and training her body and teaching her to prepare her clan for battles.
Normally a constantly busy schedule would make ordinary people break under stress, however, Tessa was born with the patience of a saint, and instead took to her lessons with gusto until she became the towering and powerful, but gentle citizen of her clan that her family adores. She's well known in her family's new settlement for taking time to help anyone out, using her immense strength to move heavy loads and tending to her garden when she isn't watching her younger siblings. However, in spite of her aptitude, Tessa lacked a crucial element that would properly ready her in her future as a leader. She needed real-world fighting experience, not simply sparring with her mother and siblings. With this in mind, Tessa was sent off to the academy, with hopes she would return prepared to take her mother's place.

╫ I N V E N T O R Y ╫

        PRIMARY WEAPON
        ▬ Titan's Claws
▬ Two large full arm cestus that each weigh 12lbs each when fully loaded.
Melee Form ▬ Transform from simple arm guards into full-on gauntlets tipped with razor sharp claws studded with diamond to minimize the wear and tear on the claws themselves. Though simple, these gauntlets are enormous, nearly two and a half feet across at their widest point, and are durable enough to tank the force Tessa puts on them when striking, and to contain the explosions from the rounds she uses.
Ranged Form ▬ Each gauntlet houses a belt of 12 40mm grenades packed full of black powder. These can be fired from a raised barrel just over the wrist of the gauntlet, or detonated while in the chamber to release the explosion in a single direction. Gauntlets are self-loading but take a full 3 seconds to reload.
        Other Form(s) ▬ (Additional Forms)
Ammo Type ▬ 40mm grenades, packed full of black powder.
▬ These were primarily designed to give Tessa protection while digging and striking, their weight give her strikes more force when they land, and their large surface area make them well suited for blocking

        OTHER WEAPONS
▬ Ammo types, in addition to the normal shells she carries (2 belts worth for each) Tessa carries four heavy, solid rounds. Each of these weighs around 3 pounds and are designed to resemble and function like an excavation drill. Due to their weight, they have a very limited range in exchange for their sheer penetrating power. ( 4 total)
▬ Shredder Shell: Grenade shells packed with razor sharp shrapnel that tear through foliage and flesh nearby. (4 total)
▬ Rainbow Shell: Distinctive by their multicolored bands, these shells are, in fact, flares that change colors as they burn (2 total)
        ITEMS
        ▬ Her scroll
▬ Six personal rations high protein and calories for survival.
▬ Camping gear: Bedroll, ropes, flint, fishing line, hooks, bobbers, skewers, compass, tinder cubes

╫ S E M B L A N C E ╫

        *NAME ▬ Architect
        *AURA COLOR ▬ Vermillion
        *DESCRIPTION
▬Tessa's semblance is as fitting as it gets and shows just how connected to the earth the giant faunus really is. In short, Tessa's semblance allows her control over any stone, soil, mineral or mucky material within the range of her influence (the center of which is always her). Any and all manipulations are done in conjunction with motion, typically in time with motions some would rightfully believe come from martial arts katas and as such must be done deliberately and with conscious thought.
. Anything manipulated, however, must be in contact with Tessa, whether directly or indirectly, meaning that anything not touching the ground she's currently standing on, or in contact with the earth in any way cannot be affected by her semblance, nor can she control any stone in midair. All changes to the earth last indefinitely or until Tessa decides to change it back, and her duration
All changes to any earthen material are permanent unless Tessa herself changes things back.

▬ Level 0//0-99 posts: Affects the earth within 10 meters of Tessa and allows only for simple manipulation of earthen materials to be done, meaning anything from simple geometric formations, pillars, spikes, sinkholes and large boulders can be pulled from appropriately earthen material, this means she cannot do this with most types of soil. With enough force, Tessa can cause the ground to 'shatter' within the sphere of her influence.
(Limited to 10 small scale changes and 5 large scale changes before needing to rest,. Cool-down depends on the number of times the semblance is used, Will reset if Tessa is exhausted and uses her semblance before cooldown is finished. Max cool-down of 10 posts
Any continuous manipulation of softer material such as mud or sand uses 2 per post)
▬ (Level 1//100-199 posts) Tessa's sphere of influence grows to 20 meters , and at this point she can create more complex structures on the fly
(Limited to 15 small scale changes and 8 large scale changes before needing to rest. Cooldown depends on the number of times the semblance is used, Will reset if Tessa is exhausted and uses her semblance before cooldown is finished. Max cool-down of 10 posts
Any continuous manipulation of softer material such as mud or sand uses 2 per post)
▬ (Level 2//200-299 posts) Tessa's influence grows to 30 meters and can create intricate structures with a single, albeit extended, use of her semblance. She can, for example, create a fully furnished shelter out of stone by forcibly eroding a large area of solid stone (granted this will require a lot of dusting out. Any continuous manipulation of softer material such as mud or sand uses 2 per post)
(Limited to 20 small scale changes and 10 large scale changes before needing to rest. Cooldown depends on the number of times the semblance is used, Will reset if Tessa is exhausted and uses her semblance before cooldown is finished Max cool-down of 10 posts
Any continuous manipulation of softer material such as mud or sand uses 2 per post))
▬ Level 3//300-399 posts: Tessa's control expands to its final range of 50 meters and her control is strong enough that she can cause earthen materials to seemingly break the laws of physics. Stone can be formed into intricate, impossible shapes and patterns without losing integrity and controlled with minimal movement.
(Limited to 30 small scale changes and 20 large scale changes before needing to rest. Cooldown depends on the number of times the semblance is used, Will reset if Tessa is exhausted and uses her semblance before cooldown is finished. Max cool-down of 10 posts
Any continuous manipulation of softer material such as mud or sand uses 2 per post)
*DRAWBACKS ▬ Tessa's semblance, while strong and versatile, does not come without its limitations. Aside from the fact that she cannot use it while in the air, the further toward the edge of Tessa's sphere of influence she attempts to manipulate, the weaker her influence becomes. Structures become less structurally sound and manipulation takes longer to actually activate, with a noticeable 2-second delay between her action and the resulting effect at the furthest edge of her sphere. Beyond that, every act of manipulating the earth requires movement of some kind, larger acts requiring more blatant movements, making it easier to gauge not only when to keep one's distance, but also potentially what the manipulation will take shape as given that her semblance is used in conjunction with her fighting style
