pit stop
Of all the people he did not want to see in Melvin's house but probably should have expected to see in Melvin's house, Lawrence was probably first on the list. Nash stared at him, at the too thin body and the bare chest and the fact that Lawrence was standing half naked in front of him.
"What are you doing here?" Nash asked, still framed in the doorway. He folded his arms across his chest. "Did you just get out of the shower?"

Pit Stop
Nash challenging Lawr's right to be in Melvin's home seemed to help him get over whatever level of self consciousness he'd possessed prior, gesturing dismissively at the other man with his missing hand, as if he still had one on that arm.
'I have every right to be here." he said. "The door is always open to me. And oh I don't know, my hair is still very wet, I'm wearing a towel, what exactly do you think?"
Most people didn't get to see him out of his careful makeup, hair and clothing, and it rankled him so much that Nash was now one of the people who had, even if he probably wasn't cultured enough to even register shadows under the eyes or a few grey hairs.
"What about you?" he said. "What are YOU doing here?"
Even though he knew.

Work in progress"I'm not allergic to anything. I don't like sweet foods. I also hate coconut due to the one year island dream. I'm only just starting to get used to seafood again, but I'll be sure never to bring shellfish into the house." He went and made himself a cup of coffee and while sipping it, he turned the bacon over.
"Any foods you hate? Any ones you love? Since I go to the bar to order food from Rep's little shop, I could try stocking up things you like too. I like spicy foods and snacks."

catching upJordan had brought good coffee and good chocolate by way of a silent apology for having gotten wrapped up in his own affairs and not checking in with Melvin. "House looks good," he told Melvin, as he stepped inside.

Catching Up"Thanks. Still has a lot of space to fill, but it's now livable enough to be comfortable." He said, shutting the door behind Jordan as he walked through the living room. The windows were open letting in the ocean breeze. Melvin had specifically chosen this plot because of the view of the lighthouse.
"Kitchen's this way through the dinning room." He said.
