Dior looked over towards the pale blue male that approached, he was a few shades lighter than Vasilios and quite striking. She blamed his mane, it was very fetching. Vas caught her wayward glance and smiled but remained quiet, she caught it and gave him a sideways glance of don't you say a thing. "Yes, Weddings. They seem to bring out everyone don't they?" She said in a generalized statement more than a question but it could be taken as either. "I'm Dior, I do not believe you and I have met before." It was likely because of his job that she hadn't but she was glad she had now.

"Do you think there will be anymore anytime soon?" Vas asked with a small chuckle, more amused at his own thoughts than anything else. He wasn't about to share those jokes though, at least not with the male present and he was certain Dior would give him a good swat for what he'd probably tell her later. He liked to tease the older female, it was fun. "I'm Vasilios." He added figuring he might as well introduce himself too.

It was eventual that another of the nobles would've joined the festivities, the pale blue female made her way amidst the others with a small smile on her face as she glanced over those present with no lack of joy in her chest. They'd all settled beautifully, granted it was a hard thing to settle to, but all the food to feast upon and the good company and the good news about the marriage between Nite and Sam were certainly something that should've lifted spirits.

Hopefully.

The gulls were an interesting addition to the party also, something she definitely took note of. Perhaps they'd be a useful ally in the future, birds were often intelligent creatures and these ones seemed no different. Besides they'd have to get used to them if they were going to stay here from now on.

She'd have to put a pin in some of her ideas however as she spotted one of the resident Divines that'd followed their charted course talking with the High Lord Faun and silently shook her head with a well meaning smile. It was good to see the High Lord laugh, she couldn't imagine the stress on his shoulders right now and she caught the tail end of the conversation as she approached the two. Ofcourse this prompted a small overprotective spike as she aimed a small smirk Faun's way.

"I should hope you get some rest after all the work you've done, goodness knows you've earned it." She said with no lack of mother hen chiding in her voice before smiling warmly to the High Lord and offering a respectful bob of her head to him and the God as she watched them.
"How're the both of you enjoying the party so far? I think it's going quite well."

Abiodun watched as the other seagull gave the lions a gift from the sea and then welcome them to the lands. Abiodun wasn't sure if she agreed with the feelings or not. Then she looked at the lion who had asked her if she had come to celebrate as well. "I was not sure if we were invited." She said simply ruffling her feathers as she looked at the much larger creatures. Scraps of food she could hope for, but to be invited to a party by lions and not have them try to eat her? That certainly was something she had not expected. Abiondun didn't know much about lions and other cats, but she had always been taught to keep her distance. She wondered at either grand gesture or grand foolishness of the other seagull to simply welcome the lions and give them gifts.

A cheerful and hardy laugh escaped Niite'Manu hearing a group of lions be called a flock. Instead of reflecting that maybe the fact that birds in a group were called flocks were the reason this gull was addressing them as such she dove right in to correcting him.

"We're actually called a pride." You could really get the sense that Niite was proud of being a lion in the way she addressed it. "So there haven't been many lions here? I wonder why. These silver beaches are beautiful as are the caverns. I am assuming your flock is native here?"

The other gull remarked he wasn't sure they were invited which had Niite very loudly exclaim "BAH" She paused for dramatic effect for a moment, "We're celebrating! Anyone who wants to celebrate on the night of my wedding is welcome!" She was very loud about this. The night so happened to be the night of her wedding but it was not really a planned thing as much as it was tacked on in the moment of the celebration.

Fanya could understand the distaste in large crowds. It was partly why he'd also chosen to scoot to the edge of the excitement and chill here with a fellow scribe.

"Well yeah. I don't think most scribes are for parties. Well some are... Honestly I don't know. Any ways my names Fanya," He was offering his name to both lions.

Krysin

Silme'raana wasn't wandering off from the celebration to collect her thoughts or anything poetic really. She was in search of her brother Fanya who seemed to have disappeared from the group which actually had the silver chevalier quite annoyed. The two of them usually stayed pretty close together so it was concerning to her when he would break off. She was going to give him an ear full when she found him.

"FANYA" She cried towards where the brim of the sea met with the silver sands of the pride. Nothing. This was aggravating for Silme in a way she was sure Fanya enjoyed. Silme was convinced that Fanya was playing some sort of game with her despite that not being in Fanya's personality to do so.

"FANYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" She cried once more. There was only the whistling of the winds and crashing of waves as well as the muffled sounds of lions having a good time.

Off towards the distance there was a lion shape which was good enough for Silme to pad in that direction.

"Fanya really? Why are you ... OH-oh." She took a step back as this lioness was not who she was looking for. "Oh I am so sorry. Gosh. I thought.. No well I hoped that maybe... Uh..." She stammered over her sentences trying to get a clear one out, "Yeah so. Uh... Names Silme'raana and .. well uh.. I've seen you around ?" She took a seat and cast her gaze towards the waves trying not to make things worse.

"The waves tonight huh?" She hadn't put much thought in that comment.

Nilak raised a brow at both of the lions as he was offered their names. It was probably polite to offer his own name so that was what the light blue lion did.

"Nilak," He took a seat looking like he was half there half in thought about something unrelated. Turning off the work side of his brain was not a talent that Nilak possessed. He was constantly thinking about new ideas of how to optimize the healing potential of crystals.

"I suppose having another wedding would bring everyone together again but how could we have known that Niite was going to stick her wedding in the middle of our celebration?" He looked thoughtful for a moment like he wasn't sure if he was being too blunt or really like he was talking and not sure if he was doing it right. "I like the food," At least that comment was true and on the positive side. A good conversation topic indeed. At least, that was what Nilak thought about it. He was decidedly proud of him self for coming up with it.

A very calming voice entered with in ear shot which had
Faun lower his head a little as if in shame for being up. Company from Vauhna was a welcomed thing so he was not about to argue to much with her or Tafari.

"Both of you seem to be in agreement about this." Faun couldn't help but really consider their words. For a god to mention it alone should be enough but also for another fellow noble he was sure he wasn't fulling anyone with his calmness. It was true that Faun was very tired from leading the pride to their new home and work hadn't stopped when the pride had arrived. There were still so many things he needed to get done. These thoughts were always in the back of his mind and they were very tiring. He'd kept these panicked thoughts to himself and let them reside in the back of his mind and instead focused more on the pride first.

"I suppose if I was to head to bed a little earlier the pride wouldn't catch fire. " He yawned, "I have to say the both of you together make a good team in convincing me. I may be considering." He really was considering their offer.

Abiodun opened her beak it was the closest thing she had to a smile this lion was very merry it seemed and very clear that everyone was welcome to this celebration. Abiodun nodded her head and then said "Yes the flock has lived her for many years but we do not live as lions do, there has never been a celebration on these beaches. " At least she didn't remember there ever being one since she was a fledgling. Flying, surviving, eating and sleeping had pretty much been her life up until the lions arrived on the beach. "Congratulations on your wedding. I am Abiodun." She said bowing her head to the lioness who was being married this day. She wondered if she would ever find a mate and have little fledglings of her own.

Arestos beamed at Abiodun when she joined them, quickly correcting himself. "I'm sorry. Pride. A beautiful pride of lions." He said, liking the loud lion. She seemed very friendly and outgoing. He hopped a bit and looked around. "So many lions!" He clicked his beak together in amusement. "You do not eat gulls normally...right?"

She was running a little late. This wasn’t really that unusual for her. Though she was very good at what she was, a healer through and through, she was pretty bad at time keeping and being overly social and a few various other ticks that meant she forgot to eat, drink or do things that kept her own body ticking over so she could look after others. Luckily she had a nanny to take care of her. Well, he wasn’t really her nanny he was her friend, he just looked after her as a mother would care for her cub.

The gazelle had forcibly headbutted her away from her research to join in the celebration, and also to eat and drink and maybe be a bit social.

The orange gazelle trailed not too far behind the blue lioness. She had stopped at least two dozen times between where they had been searching and picking new plants and the beach. He knew why she was doing it. She wanted to know what was new here, what could be used, what was poisonous, but he had to remind her she still had to be a part of the pride. Her stops were always to catalogue where something new was, or to memorise a plant or some tubor or root, or tree that might have useful properties. It had taken forever to get here and it was raining. He wasn’t entirely impressed by the weather and his thin coat was rather damp from the rain despite it being a misty drizzle. The lioness didn’t seem to have noticed though and he moved to headbutt her gently out of what ever reverie she was in. “Go and find some food Kemuri. You havn’t eaten all day.”

“Okay..Okay!” She sighed heavily and turned towards the crowd only, was that something new? Seaweed? She had heard things could be done with seaweed, she should defiantly collect some, if only Kamit wasn’t looking. She glanced back and met with the stern gaze of her nanny gazelle. “Okay, okay, food first then seaweed.” she huffed looking longingly at the soggy green pile of washed up kelp before making a serious effort to join the gathered pride.

The gazelle huffed and followed after her occasionally touching her rump to remind her to keep going, no more getting side tracked by new and unusual things.

The black burly lion blinked at his now wife and these two gulls were having themselves a hearty conversation. He thought about interrupting, but didn't find it to really be necessary either. Niite was pretty much explaining everything to the gull that had been wrong or misunderstood. What else was there to say? However, Sam did notice that his wife was quite content. She was being... Slightly more light hearted than usual, and to be honest, it was a lovely change. He didn't dislike how Niite was usually, not at all. To see her be interactive though and friendly without having to force. It was a wonderful sight. Hopefully this marriage not only brought some general well being to the both of them, but to the pride as well. With it being newly formed, there were sure to be doubts and some slight outside quarrels as lions took time to get to know each other. With the celebration of the wedding though, hopefully many could look past their differences and begin to form as a pride, just the way Faun would want it.

A gull that called himself Arestos caught the black male's attention with his question. He chuckled and decided to step in. "No, not at all. Not enough meat on your tiny bones for us lions." He gave the gull a sly smile. "Watch out for the cubs though. You're juuust about their size for a good snack!" Sam then turned his attention to another gull, one called Abiodun. He bowed his head to her, even if just briefly. "I do hope you don't mind us living here on these beaches with you and your flock. It's a place we as a pride decided to call home."

With her pale toes pressing into the silver sands, Thulile peeked around from behind one of the slick rising rocks, her maroon eyes filled with fear and nervousness. With her, as always, was one of her many, many hide scrolls. This one was a rather fresh one, meant solely for the purpose of documenting this momentous occasion. Unfortunately though, Thu's nerves were getting the best of her. There were... So many lions here already. She didn't know everyone very well, not by pelt color anyway. Names were another story though. She knew them all! Being such a recluse though, she wasn't really able to match the pelt with the name, seeing as she was generally alone inside the gem caves, etching away on her hides by the soft glow of the cavern crystals.

She was though, one of the three high scribes. It was pretty much a demand for her to be here. That and her general thirst for knowledge, regardless of how many individuals were around. With the nervousness in her paws shaking down into the silver sand, the pale blue lioness bit her bottom lip and clutched onto her rolled hide even more so than before, very slowly coming out from behind the tall rock, one tiny step at a time. "Y-You can d-do this Thu..."

Lord Lhun'Fán had finally decided to join the festivities. Figuring he was being 'fashionably late', he whipped his fluffy white mane from his head, it bouncing right back into place, looking somehow more curly and dignified than ever. His bright pink nose stood out against his entire blue demeanor and the generally gray setting of the beaches. He flashed a pearly white smile at no one in particular, simply showing off to anyone who cared to look. After all, this was a celebration! Surely one of these fair lionesses or even lions would want to chit chat with one of the nobles of the pride.

The gull visibly gulped at the idea of being eaten by a cub and nervously moved from one foot to another, looking around as if to make sure there were no cubs around that moment. "I will certainly keep that advice in mind." Arestos said, puffing up his feathers and smoothing them back down again in his nervousness. "Well...If you ever need help, you can call on Arestos. I can scout and know these lands like the back of my tail feathers." He said with a nod.

Nsundu nodded at Tirion and Epi. "You may call me Nsundu," he said, not looking at either lion, but glancing around at the growing group. It seemed all were making their way to the gathering.

He listened as Tirion discussed what he might write. Nsundu certainly wasn't going to make light of the situation. He took his job very seriously.

"We should observe and report accurately," he said, again to neither lion in particular. He was not intending it to come across in an odd way, he was merely describing what he himself would do, and by extrapolation, the others. He wasn't always the best at communication.

Kito had yet to engage in conversation with anyone else. It was something she had always struggled with. Nevertheless, she'd been taking steps to improve herself and her forwardness. She glanced about for someone to talk to. Perhaps if she spotted one who seemed to be of a similar disposition to herself...

Her eyes fell on a blue lioness with a pelt in her mouth. Kito would talk to her.

The blue lioness with teal eyes carefully made her way over, a nervous look plastered on her face.

"Hi..." she said when she reached the other, her voice trailing off. What came next?

There was a chuckle from Niite, "You don't have to worry about cubs eating you. Yet." There was a joking in her tone. Usually Niite was a harsher lioness but tonight was not the night for that. Tonight was the night to celebrate and talk about how she just tied the knot with some goober named Sam. She was so happy and excited to be officially with Sam she couldn't hide it. Hopefully the lioness smoothed out some of her rougher qualities by being with Sam. Only time would tell.

"Abiodun and Arestos. Is it normal for your kind to have names that start with A?" Niite leaned in.

"Oh so we're the first lions here? I wonder why that is..."

Meztli had been in her own head the whole time during the party. She couldn't put her paw on it but something felt a little off about the evening. It was possible the whistling of the winds and crashing of the waves were enough to tip her off. It wasn't like she'd never seen the oceans act in such a way but something seemed off and she couldn't figure out what.

That was when she bumped in to another lioness. Looking up she noticed a gazelle was also walking with this lioness. Meztli blinked for a moment trying to process what was going on before she realized it she had opened her maw.

"You're a strange looking lion aren't you," Was directed at the gazelle. She knew he wasn't a lion but it was a fun comment. Maybe it sounded better in her head but there was no taking back what was said now. Meztli let that thought linger in the air.

"Sorry I didn't mean to bump in to you two. It's nice to see you at the gathering though," She smiled at them both. The smile couldn't fully hide some lingering worries.

There was no arguing with that logic. Tirion knew he had probably made a very distasteful joke and as a scribe he probably should have been taking his duties a little more seriously than he was right now. The gray lion cleared his throat some.

"I didn't mean anything by the joke but I thought... I don't know it's a celebration so maybe we could relax a little. Between all the pride members that are here some one is bound to remember what happened." He was doubling down on his relaxed approach to being a scribe which he probably shouldn't have.

Tafari smiled at the laughter of the other. Despite the evident weariness that remained present in his friend's eyes, at least he had manged to get some merriment from the evening.
"It would certainly send a message to others who dare tread here with unappealing intent." He remarked, amusement in his gaze. "As for this..." He looked over at the large group. "I have yet to get used to crowds,
but it is a fine gathering, to be sure. Everyone seems to be getting on well enough, even with the weather threatening to dampen the mood.
" His gaze drifted up to the sky as he watched the blue and grey fade into one another.

The voice of another brought him from it as he looked at the lioness who approached. He didn't know her name, hadn't bothered to learn many of the names of those he traveled with, yet. Mortals were still an oddity to him,
but Faun had assured him he would learn to interact with the pride and the individuals within it sooner or later, so he trusted in that.

Blinking to the lioness by way of greeting, he then turned his attention back to Faun.
"I can come fetch you if something goes amiss, but I shall watch over things to make sure it won't." His gaze softened. "Trust me, I can handle things here. Aside from some rain, what could happen?" He asked.

Epi smiled broadly at Tirion. She liked him already,
she decided. Perhaps she would dedicate a hide specifically to their interaction that night.
"'manu, hm?" She asked, light dancing in her eyes. "I could have sworn I've heard that name before..." Her eyes moved to where Niite,
the recently married, was chattering on with a gull. Returning her gaze to Tirion, she smiled. "Still, I think it's nice to have a family name. It's easier to keep track of folks like that, anyway."

"Well, let's see... You could say how the weather was or how much food there was or about how many lions you were properly introduced to."
She suggested. "Or you could talk about the colors of the pride and how our colors in pelts reflected the colors of the sky above, which is a little more poetic-sounding, if you ask me. You do you." She finished with a shrug.

When the other Scribe, Nsundu, spoke up with his suggestions, she nodded.
That was certainly an option too, she supposed, even if she liked to make things fancier.
"If it's remembering that's your worry, you can just ask me." She spoke up. "I tend to remember everything. Including things I'd rather forget."
She sighed and then perked up again. "Anyway! I'm going to go peruse the prey pile for something more exotic. Would either of you boys care to join me?" She asked, glancing between Tirion and Nsundu.

Amare glanced over the other male, pale and tan at the same time, as the lion approached. Amare smiled at the other, a twinkle in his eye.

"Hey there, I like your legs." He greeted the other, gesturing to the pale lion's front legs, where it appeared clouds were gathering atop them. When the lion he had originally approached began to speak, even if it was in stutters, Amare smiled at the other. How adorable.

"If you'd like, I can shoo away anyone else that tries to get near us."
He offered and glanced at the other lion, before adding. "Near the three of us."

When the pale lion introduced himself as Fanya, Amare's smile grew a little wider.
"Lovely name. It really rolls off the tongue." He remarked. "My name is Amare. It's a pleasure to meet both of you." He turned his gaze to the lion he had originally approached. "And what's your name, hun?" He asked curiously.

Abiodun looked over at Arestos and then she rolled her eyes "No not everyone in our flock has an A name." She fluffed her feathers up again at the yet comment. She still wasn't sure if she liked lions or not they were strange creatures. Stuck on the ground unable to fly. She shook her head "Perhaps I am wrong but I don't remember any lions before you in this area. I have flown a great distance before and have seen lions and other creatures from the air. Perhaps the beach and caverns are a hidden gem that you kind are blessed to have found?" She suggested spreading her wings to gesture at the pride that Niite was a part of. Their coats were all lovely colors that was for certain. Abiodun enjoyed collecting shiny bobbles so seeing the beautiful lions was not that much of a hardship. She jumped and made her way to a higher perch so she could see Nitte better and watch the festivities.

Watching the High Lord's head dip slightly like he'd been a cub caught doing something without his parent's permission made the pale lioness smile ever so faintly, she didn't want him to feel guilty, she understood how much responsibility sat with him right now...but he wasn't like the Gods, he needed rest, he needed sleep.

How could be perform his duties when he was half awake like this?

Tafari's words of reassurance perked Vauhna's ears as she nodded to the green and black male's words in agreement before looking back to Faun' with the same soft smile as she raised a paw to gently rest atop the High Lord's in a show of genuine concern.

"Lord Tafari is right, Faun'," She started, her tone still respectful even if it rang with the concern she showed through her smile. "And he'll have the support of the other Nobles to overlook everything and make sure everything goes well, besides I think by a God's own words you can afford at least some sleep."

The lioness chuckled when the other female spoke to Kamit. She smiled softly, her teal eyes dancing happily. She found the comment very amusing. “He’s a very funny looking lion.” She grinned, though her head tilted just a little. There was something the lioness wasn’t saying, she just couldn’t put her paw on it.

“Pff, if I was a lion I would be off some where warm and sunny instead of here getting my butt drenched by this infernal rain!” He huffed his eyes fixed carefully upon the other lioness.

“Oh Kamit, why can’t you take a joke?” She rolled her eyes and looked at the other lioness carefully. “I’m sorry I am afraid I don’t know your name.” She paused for a moment and decided it might be best to take a seat. “Are you in pain? You have a sort of hazy look in your eyes. I have a plant you can chew that will get rid of aches. It tastes..well.. it takes aweful but it will make the pain go away.”

The gazelle chuckles quietly, he never sat, it was something about being what he was that meant he always stood, but he did tend to lean when the lioness sat and he did this now his long legs straddling either side of the blue lioness so he could lean his side against her back. “You know, I think you need to sell that better, or at least lie about it. It tastes horrible but its okay, is not a great line.”

The blue lioness frowned a bit. “Hmm, I suppose not, I can’t make it taste better though so don’t you think its best to tell the truth?” She directed this query to the female before her. “Kamit thinks I should tell people things taste good when they don’t. I think thats mean, don’t you?”
