"Hey I'm over here stop waving to your friends in the sta-" Luna was cut short as she managed a very weak blow to the shoulder on Sonja; both her attack and sentence cut short by a tonfa butt shoved into her stomach sending her stumbling backwards. << Talk less; focus more. You're losing again. It's disgraceful.>> Her weapon wasn't helping much. HP: 15/40 DMG: 1

It was more than a little warming to her heart to see her friends were coming to her matches, cheering her own in their own way.
◺ Stop getting distracted! Doubt you'd want to see that face of yours planted into the ground.◿
She snorted a little at her weapons comment but he wasn't wrong. Losing wasn't gonna really get to her but she would rather not lose in a spectacular way. Let her fall on her butt or something.
◺ Don't dwell on losing! Just fight and win!◿ Always easier said than done.
But it didn't mean she was going let up anytime soon! The hit to her shoulder got her to draw back a bit before changing the stance of her back foot and used it to throw her weight behind a arching swing from her right tonfa. It wasn't as hard as she had wanted it to be but her weapons nagging wasn't making her job easier.

<< Get up! She's coming at you again! >> Luna was wallowing just a bit in self pity, she wasn't feeling to hot and her weapon was right. She was getting distracted. Pushing herself up into a crouch she ignored what Sonja had to say this time. Instead she pushed up from a crouch, one hand moving to knock the tonfa's blow aside for minimal damage, the other chakram grip reverses so she was holding the inside of the ring backwards, the whole disc laying flat on the back of her right hand before she threw a cheap gut shot right back at the other hunter. HP: 13/40 DMG: 8

Now that. That one had hurt.
Surprised colored Sonja's face as the blow knocked her back a good several steps, her hand letting go of one of her tonfa's in favor of gripping her torso. Even with her shield, the hit had still been damaging.
"Damn!" The words turned into a low hiss before she released a airy chuckle. "Good, ya' got a good amount of fight in ya'."
She was a little afraid that this fight would have been easy. She was delighted to find herself to be wrong.

Luna took a moment as Sonja stumbled back to adjust her glasses, long since skewed off center on her face from all the fighting and tossing about they had done. She looked up in time to see Sonja laughing a bit complimenting her which was both confusing, and encouraging, "I mean, I'd be dead if I didn't? I'd have been crushed by giant bugs when I thought this was all still some crazy VR game." "You still good to fight after that?" << Do not talk, strike. >> < Dude we just sucker punched her in the gut, give her a minute... > HP: 13/40 DMG: 0

Man, after this fight, she was gonna need to shower. While she knew Kai could hold his own just fine, to learn that there were fighters among their ranks in Dues that could fight like this was admirable. How could she not be smirking?
She bent her wrists a bit to reduce the stiffness that was starting to set in before taking another defense stance... For the time being.
"While this tournament is fun n'all, it ain't gonna do me much good to be sour fer you landin' a blow on me that I'd 'ave done ta' you!"
A light smirk quipped a corner of her lips to one side as she set her tonfa's low and charged at the other.

Luna wanted a bath, forget showers, her legs hurt, her body ached, and her shield was fading making every ounce of strain on her body more apparent to her. Dropping back into her own defensive stance she studied Sonja as the two squared up again. "Yeah, good point." She said just before jumping back a bit trying to avoid the brunt of Sonja's attack and still taking a solid hit, only label lash out with a poor slash out of range after her jump and being knocked back from the next blow. HP: 8/40 DMG: 2

This was getting close. Panting had set in and she started the feel more on-setting aches forming in her legs and arms. Li was still nagging here and there but it was something she could set off to the side, pushing said words to the back of her mind. Words, for once, were lost to her as she tried her best to concentrate on landing her next blow. She moved back a little after the slash. She needed a little bit more distance to preform her next move. She crossed her blades out in front of her before rushing forward, hoping to finally knock the other down.

Luna rocked side to side a bit blades raised waiting for Sonja to strike. Chewing on the bottom of her lip. Suddenly Sonja was charging forward and Luna ran forward to meet her she leaped up ready to strike only to catch two tonfa's across the stomach. The blow knocked all the wind out of her as her shield hit it's limit only kept online by the same tech around the training fields. Lei clucked in the back of her mind fading away, she landed on her back dazed and confused coughing heavily all of the sudden. HP: 0

With what little strength she still had left, she planted her blades down into the earth, thankful that Li's words had faded off, and headed over with her hands outstretched to the hunter on the ground.
"Sorry... Think I gotta little carried away there on that last one." A ghost of a chuckle left her.
"You did a pretty damn good job though. You handle them things amazingly."

Luna was still sprawled on the ground staring up at the sky her weapon desummoned a frown plastered on her face a bit. "s**t. s**t s**t s**t s**t s**t." She smacked a palm on the dirt. Finally she sat up frowning hard. "Now Sol's gonna hang this fight over my head for months. If she wins this tournament I'm dead."
