Noemi face was super seriously somber. "Yeah, they are not nice...and...and sometimes they pick on you." Her last encounter was well..."Right? My...My hair is too Red, but...but I like seeing all the pretty colors...on other!" She nodded.
At Lydia's question, her face immediately returned to a bright red, literally overloading her senses. Mil...Milo...Milo....
"He...He...HE....." She flushed, "I l..lik...love.....like a lot....." But she didn't think they were...well dating? At least she didn't know, they certainly acted like it. With...with the hugs and spending time together...and...."O..Oh?" She looked over at Aro, who was indeed very muscle-y and very cheerful. "He..He seems nice! I think...I think we've actually met!" She took a breath, "He..He is friends with O..Oliver?"
Because the question distracted her, the whip took a huge chunk of her fear shield, making the small girl eep and eyes wide as saucers. At Lydia's apology she shook her head.
"N..No! That...that was a good hit! You are very strong!" Noemi moved in, "It's...It's okay?" She just hopefully didn't want another hit like that.

Completely oblivious to the hot topic of relationships going on on the field, Milo gave Noemi another whooping cheer. "You can do it Noemi-chan!"
And then turned his attentions to another familiar face, one that he had accidentally startled. "Oliver!" His sides were beginning to be occupied by the others that he was acquainted with but that wasn't going to stop the Sun from giving the other hunter a big hug. 'Cause it had been forever!

Oh dear! She seemed to have flustered the poor dear. Lydia’s cheeks flushed bright pink in response. “Sorry.” She squeaked again, and took a stumbling step back when Noemi pressed forward with the trident, giving her whip a quick flail that missed its mark entirely. “Oh, yes! Oliver is a dear friend to us both.” She smiled, gently, happy to change the subject if it was an uncomfortable one. Lydia: 18 Damage: 0

"Oh?? Do..do you want to be friends too?" Noemi gripped her trident, "I..I think if Oliver trust you, then...then that means you are really good people!" She took a breath, "Ummm.....Milo is...is someone I trust a lot too....We should all be friends?"
Urged on by the sun hunter though, Noemi made another swipe at the woman, hitting a bit harder then she really wanted. "S..Sorry! Sorry!"

Friends? Lydia's amber eyes began to sparkle behind her thick lenses, "Oh, I would absolutely love that! You seem so very kind and lovely. And yes, I do think I could be considered a trustworthy person." She began to nod, enthusiastically, long curls bouncing, with a few fly away strands falling in front of her face, which she blew back with a puff of air and a small laugh, her face bright. She was so excited to have made a new friend, today! While doing something so barbaric as fighting in a tourney, no less. Of course, she needed to try and remember that she was, indeed, in a tournament match up right now. She shouldn't be chit chatting about friendships and boyfriends and what not, but actually focusing! Noemi came in for another solid hit, and while Lydia staggered, she at least managed to stay on her feet this time. "It's no problem, really! You are quite skilled, I must say! I feel like I could learn a lot from you." She grinned, and went in for a return swipe, aiming her whip to sweep in low on Noemi's legs this time. Lydia: 9 Damage: 5

Noemi shyly smiled and nodded. Since Lydia agreed, then she hoped they could be friends after.
Lydia's attack hit again and Noemi moved to take less of it, though it still hit for enough. Melsuine was kind enough to let her know that she needed to be careful hitting Lydia now, as her shield was weakening like Noemi's was.
"Um...teach you?" Noemi's eyes widened again, "I...I would be no good." As if to prove her point, she completely missed Lydia and brought the trident back.

"But I bet you are far more experienced than I am! I've only just been promoted to intermediate, after all, and you...well, surely you must be nearly a full hunter, with how great you are!" She continued, never shying away from dealing out compliments to people whom she thought were amazing, which was pretty much everybody. She managed to avoid the next swing from Noemi, but that didn't seem to matter to Lydia at all, who still believed that the other woman was absolutely the best. She might have been a little enthusiastic in her own return blow, however. It was really, really difficult to control a whip. Lydia: 9 Damage: 9

Noemi made small sounds again at the praise from Lydia and waved her hand around, covering her face with the other. Which of course left her open for attack and she yelped as she was hit hard again.
Whips were a scary thing.
She thrust her trident back out and shook her head. "I...I might almost be a hunter...but I am better...better at healing...and medical stuff...."

Eep! She had definitely hit too hard, that time, and this time barely even shook her whip at Noemi for fear of doing much worse. "I...gosh I am so sorry, it is really hard for me to control now that the tails are so much longer!" Not that she ever had good control of it before..... "But I do think it's great that you are leaning more towards a medical profession! You are just as needed and necessary and perhaps even more important than anybody else on the field!" "That's...That's okay Miss Lydia!" Noemi nodded, "T...Thank you!! After...after the fight...I will check on both of us...too okay?"
She hit the woman with the trident again, trying her best to be careful but hitting hard again. As she did though, she could hear the warning call of the fight ending and quickly desummoned her weapon, coming over to the blue haired woman.
"Are....Are you okay?"

Despite being painfully shy and reserved himself, Oliver seemed to have a tendency for befriending people who seized hugs at the drop of a hat. He let out another little squeak as Milo squeezed him in greeting, but under his bright blushing there was a bit of a smile. "H-hi Milo, it's been awhile... You've been, um... on adventures I bet, right?" Oliver would have been blushing even worse if he knew he had just become the gold standard for knowing who was good to befriend.

Lydia nodded, and gave the other woman another cheerful smile, showing that everything between them was still good, no matter how hard they accidentally swung their weapons at each other! Though apparently, the end was not long coming, as Lydia found herself on the receiving end of a hefty strike from that trident once more, and this time she did topple back, landing hard with an oophf on her rear end, as her shield broke, and pain shot up her back from her tailbone. Rorric was gone, his totem gracing Lydia's wrist in the form of a golden bracelet adorned with feather shaped charms. Her eyes were wide, blinking in surprise behind her thick glasses for a moment, before a grin brightened her face once more. "Oh, I'm very fine, Noemi! Do not worry about me." She stated, brushing her loss off like it was nothing, because to her, it was. "Congratulations, though! I do so look forward to watching you in the next round." She gushed, hands clasping beneath her chin. Finally, she glanced behind her, the look she gave Arorangi one of apology, as if she had somehow let him down, rather than herself. Seren blinked at Noemi's other cheerleader, unsure how to handle the fact that her arm was now trapped under the boisterous man's own sidearm hug he was giving Oliver. She finally decided to bear with it, silently, for the moment, and refocused on the battle. And then it was over, and, still trapped but EXUBERANT, she began to cheer again. "CONGRATULATIONS, NOEMI! Noemi nodded at the other woman, before pulling a small runic bandage set out for the other woman to use just in case. It was small bubble printed too.
"Here you go..Miss Lydia." Her cheeks pinkened and she nodded, "I'll...I'll do my best....so you don't...don't think I am bad!"
To the crowd though, she waved and after leaving miss Lydia to be tended by her very muscley boyfriend, moved to her small group of friends. "Thank you for cheering for me." She smiled shyly first at Seren, then to Oliver and lastly to Milo.

"Here and there, ya." He replied to Oliver with a lopsided grin and another tight squeeze, "need to hear about yours too later! Been way way too long, bruh!"
It was then that extra arm under his own was finally noticed when the girl attached to it spoke up about the match. Milo shot her a wide grin and gave it a squeeze and would have pulled her in if not for Noemi finally making her approach. The two of them were released in favor of the little Mist who was swooped over towards even with the rope between them and scooped up."Noemi-chan, you're amazin'! Ho'omaika'i!!!"
