“Heliodor,” Axinite said suddenly, as if he were greeting an old friend. He reached out a hand to gently pat the male’s shoulder and then extended his hand to help him up. He did not seem keen to wait for Faustite to follow Schorl’s command, but this was no doubt just another facet of his investigation. He was doing his own assessment of the newly corrupted’s well-being before he let him out of his sight.
“Your name,” he indicated in case it wasn’t clear enough. “For all professional purposes. Now, I understand you’ve got a lot of questions, but you’ve been under immense strain already, tonight. I strongly recommend you let these lovely people here,” he nodded towards Faustite and Schorl, “take care of you for a little while, while you get back on your feet. You will need rest, first and foremost.”
It was not entirely suggestion and he nodded to Faustite to ensure he understood. “But answers and understanding will come in time. Meanwhile,” his eyes found Schorl, “I will prepare all the necessary information and paperwork he’ll need, please just come by my office to pick it up.”
He turned to the Mauvian last. “Thank you, Tiberius. Always a pleasure to have your assistance. We’ll see to it that Heliodor is in good shape as soon as possible and can try out your gift. Be gentle with him. I know you take good care of your Senshi, but I’d warrant he’ll need a little extra assistance in the upcoming days.”
If he lost as much of his memory as Axinite expected, he would be extremely moldable. The foundation for building his future would come now, from these three.
He had no doubt they’d make the best of the opportunity.
