"Oh...." She pawed at the snow, "Thank you Wendell!" She was kind of glad the other cat didn't think she was bad.
"I...I should probably go home though!" She reached over and booped the other cat on the nose. "I...I hope you like your gift!" She nodded and then started to back away to scamper. "I will see you soon....okay?"

Wendell reached out before Lace could leave fully and gave her as big a hug as he could, paws around her as he pressed his face into her fluff.
"Be safe, little one!" he said grandly, as he hopped backwards again, plucking up his bag of treats with his teeth. "I would prefer you to reach your destination in one piece, milady, you are too sweet and too pretty to be left in any danger! But we should meet again, all right?"
He beamed a smile at her.
