"Of course." She smiled towards him, "You'll be surprised with how much I've grown in magic since my apprentice days~" Arima had matured in a lot of ways after all, especially after meeting Saraf, and the warming waters was proof of how strong her magical aura had gotten. Yet despite her own knowledge of it the Matori couldn't help the pleased flush that darkened her features at Saraf's compliment, "I'm not that impressive." She replied quietly as she took a few more steps into the water. Mmm. That did feel good, almost like a warm bath back at the manor.

"Aww." Arima shook her head as her husband dodged, "You could have tried to catch it." She replied quietly though a teasing smile spread across her fine features, "I suppose it's harder to keep it as a ball though when you aren't a mage." She reached down and watched as more water gathered in her hands, "I promise I won't try to soak you, but come here...it's squishy and warm." She walked over towards him and held out the jiggling ball of water that rolled towards the tips of her fingers, "If I concentrate hard enough it can become like this until it hits something." The Matori smiled sheepishly towards Saraf, "I learned it with a few other mages when I was younger. We uh...may have gotten distracted from our studies in order to throw these at each other."

Her pale gaze flickered towards her boys and she couldn't resist the small impish smile that spread across her features. Perhaps they would want to play around a bit? If anything at least she knew that they would be safe if she was the one throwing a bit of water around...

Saraf gave a smile, "I think that you're quite impressive." If others didn't see that they were missing out... which was a good thing since he didn't want to share his wife with a bunch of strangers. Especially if it turned out that they were the sorts that might want to use her for her magical prowess. He wanted to see her use her powers in whatever manner she decided to use them, even simple things such as tossing around balls of water.

"Sorry, hard to stand still and wait to be splashed with what could be icy cold water." He said, giving a smile as he waited to see what she'd do next. Instead of continuing her attack though she instead explained to him about the properties of the ball. If he were a more crude man he might have laughed when he was told that it was 'warm and squishy' which gave ones visions of something other then water based magic. After a moment of thought he reached out, holding his hands out to accept the ball of water.

Once he had it he gave a little whistle, "Interesting, not what I was expecting at all."

Arima flushed, "You're just saying that." She teased in return as she glanced back towards him, "But if you're doing that for more kisses later then....I suppose it's working." She leaned forward so that she could brush an affectionate kiss against his lips before pulling back to watch him hold the water, "So much trust coming from you." She replied lightly at his comment about getting splashed, "At least we know you have really good reflexes still."

Her gaze glimmered with some amusement as he held it, "But it is a very fragile thing." She poked at the orb with a finger and watched as it wiggled and then dissolved soaking both of their hands, "Faisal and Alasdair - what are you two boys up to?" Arima smiled as her sons raced towards them and laughed as she watched them skid through the sands towards her, "Do you want something?"

"Heh, well it's a good thing that I have a high opinion of the things that I say then." He was the sort that spoke his mind after all and in this case he felt it was an easy thing to voice his opinion over. Who didn't want to talk up their wife? Sure, those in the Outcast Unit got sick of him from time to time but that didn't really matter to him. It wasn't as though their looks would stop him.

After the kiss he gave a smile and said, "Less a lack of trust and more knowing the trouble you like getting into." Shifting a bit to stand up right he gave a flex of his arms and said, "I'd like to believe I'm still in good shape despite my 'old age'." Not that he really looked or felt old, it just sounded funny.

Turning as the boys approached them he found himself starring a moment, then laughed, "Well... it would see like you can get in some target practice after all, Arima." Though why the pair seemed so eager to get possibly pelted with water he wasn't sure. He supposed that he should keep an eye on them to see what they might be up to.

Arima's cheeks darkened at the mention of the trouble she attracted, "I'm not that bad..." She began to protest before shaking her head and raising a hand as if to silence him, "Actually well...at least I've been getting better?" She admitted finally with a small laugh, "Unless having the boys counts because that opened a whole barrel of trouble." Maybe that was what was balancing out her normal knack for finding trouble? The boys were constantly finding and creating more for her instead. She giggled more as she reached out a hand to run it along Saraf's arm, "Mmmhmm. As your personal healer I can definitely agree with that. Though you should get some special exercises in while you're home on vacation~" She teased lightly and bumped him with her hip before turning to focus on the boys, "Looks like it. You boys really are silly, but if you insist then prepare yourselves!"

It wasn't like she would be relentless, but for dramatics sake the monk focused her magic and as the wind whipped her hair and made her eyes glow ever so faintly water rose from the ocean and hovered for a split moment before she glanced at the boys, "Ready...set...go!" A snap of her fingers and several small water orbs darted forward towards her sons. Nothing too harsh though since if they did hit the boys the worst that would happen is that they would get splashed with some cool water.

"Not as bad. You haven't gone to a tavern to get me into fist fights on your behalf in ages." He said with a bit of a chuckle, unable to help but tease her over some of her old interests as well as her desire to get into all manner of trouble. He looked over at the boys before nodding he said, "It does help to keep us both walking a straight and narrow path, yes."

Glancing over at Arima as she mentioned being his 'personal healer' and how he needed some 'special exercise' when they got home he gave a grin, "That sounds good. As my personal healer I feel I should take all your suggestions." He leaned in to give her a quick kiss before stepping back, motioning to her to enjoy the game that the boys were wanting to play with her and one another, likely another of their challenges with one another. It was cute watching the pair always trying to one up each other but in a way that wasn't mean or anything, just a sort of game between them.

"Good luck you two." He said, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited to see what happened with their challenge.

The tips of her finned ears warmed at his reminder of their first date, "Well if you ever feel nostalgic I'll make sure to go find the rowdiest one." She replied with a slight pout as she shifted on the sands to get better footing. Even though she was used to walking on the sands of Oba there was something different about the beach. Perhaps it was the way the salt tinged winds whipped about them or how the sands were slowly pushed by the returning tides - either way she felt that if she stayed still for too long the sands would completely devour her considering they were already covering her feet, "So true. Just imagine if we have more in the future." She teased lightly, "I suppose though after the boys we would be veterans prepared for any sort of trouble."

Her cheeks flushed at how he went along with her suggestions and the Matori found herself distracted before he had to remind her that they were playing a game with the boys, "Ah, yes." She managed after tucking a stray curl away and focusing on her magic again, "You sure you don't want to dodge as well?" She taunted Saraf before drawing out more water from the ocean to splash around the boys.
