"I'm... fine.." He managed to get out. He was having a little bit of a hard time breathing since they had just tarted running right off the bat. When she mentioned a job he shook his head at first but after thinking about it he nodded. "A jog... would be... nice." Dovian admitted. He noticed right away that his sister had slowed down a little and he gave her an apologetic smile. "I'm slowing you down... aren't I?" He figured that he would be alright if she went ahead, heck she might even be able to lap him.

Lifting a hand up she gave him a pat on the shoulder as he said a job would be nice, slowing down just a tad bit more for him. He was trying his hardest, which meant a lot to him. Looking over at her brother she gave a chuckle, "Yes, you are, but it's alright. I can't expect you to keep pace with me on your first day, Dovi. You'll catch up soon enough, you just have to put your all into everything, running included. Once you've built up some stamina that is." Looking ahead to where Anhalo was waiting for them, bouncing in place in the path, she said in an encouraging manner, "So long as you train with Anhalo and I daily I think you will be able to keep up with our full work out in due time."

Every day? Dovian wanted to cringe at that. Did he really need to run every day? The boy shook his head. "Are you training me to fight or run from Janarim?" Even though he asked a serious question he gave his sibling a grin. It might take him a while to get used to running around the town every day but he didn't think it would be too bad. Maybe he would just need to make sure he did it when the sun wasn't quite out yet. Also... on a not so full stomach. His mother had given him snacks before he'd come outside to bother Shura. "Can we do this... before breakfast?"

"Hmmm, maybe a little of both? Or make it so that you're able to chase down and fight janarim with your bare hands!" She said, then chuckled and said, "Well, maybe fight them with a good pair of gauntlets that is. I don't know if going into battle against a janarim with bare hands is a good idea, even if you're well trained." Nodding her head at his question he said, "Might be for the best. Running around on a full stomach is likely to land you with an empty stomach instead. I'd rather not torment you in that manner, Dovi." That and she really didn't want to see him get sick as it might cause her own stomach to turn on her. A thought that she kept to herself as she didn't want to appear weak in front of her brother. He was the one that she wanted to look the best in front of, so that he knew she could protect him no matter what.

At that he looked at his sister with slightly wide eyes. She wanted him to be able to do what now!? Then he realized she was joking. Or at least he hoped she was. After shaking his head he couldn't help the roll of his eyes. "I don't think I can take on a Janarim, Shuu." He used her nickname as he motioned to his little self while jogging. As Shura then agreed that running before breakfast was a good idea he seemed to relax a little. That meant that from now on he wouldn't need to worry about his food sloshing around in his stomach. "I didn't think you did.. Mom gave me smoked plums before I came outside."

"What about... just a teeny tiny one?" She asked, holding her hands less then a half a foot apart from one another. She didn't mean to set her brother on a janarim be it a full grown one or a pup, but that didn't mean that she couldn't tease him about it. She was the only one allowed to tease him after all, even if she didn't do so as much these days as she did when they were little. Back then she'd spent a lot of her time teasing him. Now that others wanted to mess with him though she didn't seem to have much of a chance to tease him herself. Turning to look at him she starred a moment then shook her head, "Well... if your stomach starts to turn let me know and we will take a break. Next time you know better to wait until after we exercise, then you can dig into a meal."

He glanced over to see how far apart her hands were and then snorted. Okay, that he could probably take on but he shook his head and smirked. "Nope, you might have to wear it out for me first." Dovian was aware that he was the softer of the two and he knew she was teasing him. It was all in good fun though so he didn't mind at all. "I won't eat before the next run." So far his stomach was holding up so he didn't think he'd eaten too much but he also didn't want to jinx himself. Last thing he needed was for his sister to baby him even more due to his stomach being weak.

Giving a bit of a grin she said, "I might be able to do that for you, Dovi. Just to be sure that they are able to pick on you too much. The last thing I want to see is you getting roughed up by a janarim pup." Just the thought of it made her giggle a little bit even as she said it wasn't something she wanted to see happen. It was just sort of amusing to picture, her brother getting chased about and nipped at by a little pup. The jog began again, this time an easier one for Dovian, and one that involved Anhalo running circles around them. It seemed the easier pace was giving the beast a lot more in the way of an opening to try to get underfoot. It was something that had Shura chuckling, ever amused by his antics, "You really are the most adorable water kitty, isn't he? We should see about getting you a pet of your own too, Dovi. They are definitely worth it. Have you figured out what sort you wanted?"

As his sister's water kitty ran circles around them he smiled. "If you say so Shuu, I still say he's gonna get fat." With the mention of getting him a pet he made a face and shrugged. In truth he'd never really thought about it. Although, he had heard that there was a new beast that had been brought over from some strange land. "There are supposed to be new beasts brought over. Do you think Dad can find some?" As he spoke he happened to notice that one of the village kids was watching them. It was enough to give him a worried look. A look that turned into mild terror when girls started to gather and giggle and wave.

Giving a bit of a pout Shura said, "There is no way! I mean, just look at him. He exercises just as much as I do! There is no way that he will get fat... unless mom keeps sneaking him treats... but otherwise I think he will be fine!" Just like with their mother giving Dovian snacks the same could be said for Anhalo. Both of them needed to skip the snacks... at least until after their morning exercise at least. "New beasts brought over? From where? Yael or Belrea?" She asked of her brother in a curious manner, wondering if he meant to get a beast from a strange land. She gave a humming sound before she said, "Well, if anyone can get something like that it would be dad. He can get anything!" She knew how amazing their father was when it came to his merchant work, as such she didn't really doubt that he'd be able to get his hands on strange animals from other lands if Dovian really wanted one.

He gave another laugh as his sister mentioned their mother and treats. Shura should know by now that their mom fed everyone and everything. Dovian just gave a little shake of his head. "I'm pretty sure Mom is gonna keep feeding him." He was pretty sure their mom made a new batch of treats every morning to give to the creatures of the house. "Profit gets spoiled a lot and Aatty too." Dovian used the nickname for his dad's other familiar. "Hm? Oh, I think it was Belrea? The one with the crazy colored people." He'd also met one of them.. and they'd scared him. He could only imagine what the creatures from there were like. He was about to voice his concern when he felt arms go around his waist. "Eh? EH!?" Those weren't Shura's arms! "Hey Doviaaaaan!" Came the voice of one of the village girls. She'd taken it upon herself to join them on their run and even hug onto Dovi.

"Yeah... me too." No matter how often she asked that Anhalo not get overfed given she was worried about him getting fat like Dovian kept saying he would it was just no use. Their mother loved to cook for the family, the beasts included, "I mean it's probably a good thing that dad doesn't need Profit to fly anywhere cause I doubt she could, the chubby birdy." A thought that had her chuckling a bit. "Ohhh, Belrea! Now I'm really curious what you're thinking about getting from there." She said, always wanting to know what Dovian was up to. At his mention of the 'crazy colored people' she found herself wanting to see some of them herself. She hadn't been that lucky yet, "I'd really like to see some of those from Belrea, just to see how colorful they are myself." She'd seen some colorful people before, like anyone with Matorian blood, but the Belrea tribes were something else or so she'd heard. As Dovian suddenly vanished from her periferal vision she whirled around... then gave a hiss sound between her teeeth. Whirling around she faced off with the girl clinging to her twin and said, "He's too busy to be dealing with you people today, can you just bother someone else today?" She hadn't been looking for a fight but she was starting to think these girls were really out to get one today... and well, every other day.

The girl looked at Shura and glared a little. "You know you can share right? Everyone is starting to think you have a crush on your own brother." Dovian moved his hands down to push the girl's arms away. When he heard what she said about his twin and the tone she used he went still. The girl really didn't know what she was getting herself into. He turned his head to look at her and quietly spoke to her. "Let go of me and please run." Dovi made sure to use his sweetest voice to hopefully get the girl to listen. He wanted to continue his run with his sister so that he didn't bother her workout routine.

Shura wrinkled her nose as the girl said that everyone was starting think she had a crush on Dovian, something that really ticked her off and turned her stomach, "Nothing so crude, I just know who is and isn't worthy of his time and it's definitely not you and your airhead friends." She said, flexing her hands slightly before letting them curl into fists, threatening the other girl without really doing so with words. If she didn't get the signal then she'd just punch her, it was simple as that. Looking over at Dovian she said, "Don't worry, Dovi. I will run her off if she doesn't let you get back to what you were doing though, I promise." And in as few punches as possible since she didn't want to risk hurting her knuckles. There was nothing worse getting scrapes and bruises on one's hands from hitting someone too hard.

"Ugh.. How are you even related to him? He's such a sweet guy and you're... well you.." The girl loosened her grip on Dovian since he asked but she stayed close to him and gave him her attention. "Why don't you come workout with us?" He shook his head at the girl's invitation. He'd wanted his sister to train him and he'd gotten just that, there was no way he was going to run off now. Besides, he didn't imagine he'd get much training done if there were a bunch of girls around. His gaze went to Shura's fists and he became a little worried. If she hurt her knuckles then she might not fit the gloves he'd gotten her.
