"I, um," he started, not exactly sure how to answer those questions, and was saved having to worry about it for a second as Lex fired at his legs. It made him jump, hopping to the side to avoid it so he could try to get a good throw in. ~ Use, the Fear, boil.~ That made him pause, but only for a brief second. Truthfully, he'd forgotten, he usually did. Even with the added excitement from Niceven, he just didn't think about any extra abilities the weapon had in the middle of fighting. But maybe he should start trying to remember. He nodded, despite the fey not being able to see it, but they'd get the message regardless. The runes on the over-sized star glowed bright green, and Henry lashed out with it, swinging almost wildly at the other teen, only to have the sharp points miss, and the glow fade seconds later. "Carp." That had gone well. "I didn't, really. I mean I suppose I did, but I also wanted to know what was going on, and this seemed like the only way to do that." He didn't mention that he still held some regrets, because really, there wasn't anything he could do about it besides just make the best of the situation he found himself in now. HP: 19 DMG: - CHG: 0/3 | 1/2 Missed!

Regal and Lex had gone over the bolstered attack in private, and now Lex was seeing just what Regal had been saying. The golden runes along the gun's barrel lit up, the wings of the hammer grew larger, and the thunderclap gunshot that Lex was used to hearing was replaced by the simultaneous roar of a leopard and cry of an eagle. A basketball sized burst of golden energy erupted from the pistol's barrel and slammed into Henry's chest. "Holy crap!" Lex shouted, nearly dropping the weapon. Marcus' words bit at his ears, 'don't drop your weapon. Drop your weapon and you're dead.' "H-henry. You, ah, are you okay buddy?" HP: 33 DMG: 15 CHG: 0/3 | 1/2

Needless to say, Henry hadn't been expecting that. The sound of the shout, animal and mechanical, was deafening, but what really had baby blues widening was the size of the energy ball that emerged from the barrel of the pistol. He hadn't gotten the greatest look at it, a second at most, and then it was slamming into his chest with force enough to drive the air from his lungs and his body up off the ground. It sent him back to tumble in a shacked,almost boneless heap across the patchy grass, and for a very long moment he just lay there, dazed, staring up at the blue sky and relearning how to breath. His shield, he could tell, was cracking, crumbling a bit around the edges. His chest ached. Finally he coughed and pushed up on his elbows, shaking blue hair out of his eyes before blinking up at Lex. "Damn, that's impressive." He winced as he went to sit up. "Ow," he said with a laugh. "Yeah, that's impressive. I give, my shields pretty much toast anyways."

Lex could have cried when he saw Henry's body hit the ground the way it did, nearly lifeless like a rag doll. The teenager hissed, sympathetically imagining the pain Henry must have felt. < He's alive, don't fret. Remember the whole shield and ward thing? > Lex offered a hand up to Henry, worry smeared across his face. Henry said he was fine, sure, and he was obviously alive and breathing, but Lex was still so unused to the idea of actual battle and not just rolled dice in Jimmy's basement that one or two times. "Should I take you to the infirmary? Are you gonna be okay?"

It was a little like deja Vu, Lex's reaction to Henry being thrown back was almost identical to Henry's response to beating Seren not that long ago. Damn near word for word, in fact, and it left the Mist trainee laughing as the younger man pulled him back up to his feet. "I'm fine with, really I am. It's crazy though, right?" Niceven disappeared in a flicker of runes. "You won't be able to do any lasting damage to anyone, not on the training field. Bruises at the worst, but bruises heal," he said assuringly, brushing off the seat of his pants and his sleeves.
