"I mean, that woulda been an epic hit, for sure... But you don't exactly have control over how it's gonna go, right?" She said, her head tilted towards him as she listened. Her smiled shifted from the admiration of his hit to the smile she only showed around him. "Those charges are unpredictable. We all know that. You didn't know you were gonna send me flying. It is what it is."
She blinked her eyes open, surprised by the sudden shade, and stared up at his hand for a moment, before giving him a smile of gratitude. "I'm sure, Rhys."
The offer to carry her was met with a hint of a blush at the idea. "I... I think I'll be ok, but I appreciate it! I really do!"

"Still..."
Apologetic wasn't something he did often, but in this case it showed in his tone and in his expression. When she smiled at him though, he smirked but sighed again and, using his other hand, gently pinched her cheek. "I feel like most everyone else would wanna kill me for doin' that, even in a spar," the brunette said with a bit of a chuckle. "But yeah, is what it is. Scared the hell outta me though when I saw you from over there, though."
He caught the slight pink and wondered about it for a second before nodding. "I'll at least walk you back, then." That was something he did regularly, so he figured it wouldn't be that big a deal. He was still worried even if she seemed okay.

The pinch on her cheek made her blush some more and reach up to gently bat at his hand, an expression of amusement on her face. "I've said it before, I'll say it again. Everyone else can go ******** themselves. It's not like you were intending that much." She blinked a little at the chuckle, and his admission that it had scared him, which made her give him that warm smile again. "We got shields here for a reason, gotta remember that. It's so none of us will actually get really hurt."
She nodded at his comment about walking her back. "Nnnn gonna need a long hot shower, though, man. Flying into the shields like that was a new experience."
She lay there for a few more minutes, then slowly sat up, groaning just a bit at how stiff she was. "Fuuuuuuck me, gonna be stiff tomorrow."

He eventually let it go with another nod, and he sat with her until she was ready to try and get up.
When she did finally start to sit up, he moved to help her, a chuckle escaping him at the expression she used. "Probably not advisable if you're stiff," he commented, smirking. "And are you sure you don't want me to just carry you?" He was borderline about to just pick her up, but it was beyond whatever lines were drawn between them so he didn't. Best he could do was try to convince her.

His words made her blink at him in confusion for a long moment, then she turned flaming red. "RHYS." She said, sounding both amused and scandalized. "You are terrible." She fanned her cheeks, wondering how the hell it was that she didn't just burst into flames from that... and the image that danced through her mind at his words.
She arched a brow at him, and said "I am sure, really, Rhys. I appreciate it but..." She managed to work her way into standing up, and stretched, slowly, wincing a little, her back popping. "I am ok. I promise." She shook out every muscle, and then walked back and forth a little, just to show him she was, in fact, able to walk.

He stood with her, amusement from her reaction now faded as he focused on making sure she really was okay to walk again. After her little demonstration he felt a bit of relief wash over him finally, and he sighed. "Alright, just wanted to make sure. The offer still stands if you feel wobbly at all along the way, so if you do get all woozy," and he trailed off there.
Rhys stretched out a bit as well before glancing over in the direction of the dorms. "So let's go?"
