"There's more?" Seziah blinked as she stared ahead at the cliff. Tytus had begun to climb, but she hadn't considered that she would be expected to follow. In this dress? And these boots? When she had so very little knowledge of climbing to begin with... The safe option seemed to be that she should refuse. Her gaze traveled up the rocky surface toward its lip. If it were anyone else, she would have. The outdoors were frightening to begin with, and there were few people she'd trust to adequately guide her through them.

But Tytus would not let anything happen to her. She presumed. With a short nod, she carefully clambered her way after him. Why this was necessary she had no idea- They were far enough away that peaceful meditation could be accomplished from down here without having to make such a journey skyward, and it would be safer besides.

Despite her uncertainties (and something resembling blustery annoyance), Seziah made it to his side with no issues.

She had never gone sightseeing in Yael. She'd never been permitted. The space of what she'd seen varied only from the Institute's yard, to the road out of Pajore, and then the trip across the sea, most of that happening within the last span of weeks. Never before had Seziah seen such a view, and never from so high. 'Frightened' wasn't quite the word she'd use to describe the peculiar taste of acid on the back of her tongue, but she couldn't repress a shiver at the expanse laid out before her, and she shifted closer to her companion's side on instinct. "There is so much more of it than I expected," she admitted quietly.

There was more of everything than she'd expected- more world beyond what she knew and more still than she would ever see, she was certain. Grasses and beasts surrounding the manor with bright orange and pinkish tints near the edge of her vision. "You... are always right, aren't you," she whispered. It was, despite the thrill of anxiety she felt at the height, the most magnificent view. If she'd stayed in Yael, it would've ben lost to her eyes forever. She didn't think she would make the climb often, and likely never alone, but, "Did you know that my favorite color is red?" She questioned him. "I have noticed, that when the sun sets in Oba, the sky seems to bleed. Imagine what the sun could touch from here? Imagine how it would look to see the desert caught on that kind of fire... You do not have to imagine, do you? I am certain, that if this place is so special to you, you would have seen it already."

Even though he tried to appear relax Tytus was tense as he kept an eye on Seziah. Perhaps this had not been the wisest of decisions as he was not certain of how the woman would view the heights or even enjoy the climb. Reckless as usual Tytus rarely considered things like clothing when it came to doing as he pleased. As Seziah shifted closer he almost lifted an arm to wrap around her in an attempt to comfort the Yaeli before awkwardly moving it as if he were only intending to rub the back of his neck instead. He didn't want her to think he was hitting on her after all as he had sincerely brought her to his secret spot in order to help ease her mind from everything, "It's a lot bigger than others give it credit for. " He confessed, "You're new to these lands, but you'll find that Oba has a mighty pull in this continent." They were once the rulers, the mighty nation that stretched far and wide. Conquerors who had been tamed, but none-the-less still a proud and strong race and their country reflected that with its mighty deserts and rolling hills and cities that stretched beyond the horizon. Tytus just hoped it wasn't too intimidating as he wanted Seziah to appreciate the beauty of it and give her a reason to continue to learn more about these lands. They had only become friends and he didn't want to lose her so quickly.

"Shh, don't expose my secret." Teased Tytus lightly. Was he always right? It would be a great talent, but Tytus wasn't certain of that. However, he did know one thing for certain - he enjoyed seeing how she softened at the sights around them and how there seemed to be a shift in the woman at his side. He just hoped he could continue to help her to transition into Oba and to find herself in this new beginning. Blinking as her comment broke his thoughts Tytus slowly found himself grinning, "Is it?" He replied lightly as he glanced at her, "Then I suppose you must like my hair at least as I enjoy yours since purple is my favorite color." He couldn't resist complimenting her lightly as he relaxed by sitting on the ground and patting the spot next to him, "You're correct, I have seen it a few times and it is magnificent. Then why don't you also witness it so you don't have to imagine it? We climbed all the way here and it's already afternoon so a few hours lazing about here won't hurt, will they? We can just enjoy the solitude and relax. Yu did instruct me to show you around after all and I can easily point out everything from here. What do you think, Seziah?"

That's right. Oba was one nation in a vast continent. Seziah was no explorer, nor did she want to be. She was not an intellectual who needed to devote her time to study. She was only one very average girl who had seen very little and still had so much life to experience. She was not accustomed to 'new' things, and she balked at the thought of change. She had brought it upon herself this time, but that didn't mean she'd considered it to be enjoyable. At least, not initially. But for the moment, perhaps even the beginnings of change wouldn't be too bad.

With a quiet sigh, she dipped into a sit at Tytus' side. "I like your...?" She blinked at him, scrutinizing the boy as she so often did when he said something that sounded so confusing. And it was true. His hair was red, a fact she'd mostly neglected either because she didn't often look up to his face, or perhaps because seeing someone with red hair was too peculiar to be attractive to her.

But... It wasn't peculiar here, and Tytus was certainly attractive by Oban standards, so maybe if she did find his appearance enjoyable...

Foolishness, Seziah scolded herself. She'd never looked at anyone as attractive or not. It seemed ridiculous to. No one would be interested in a strange girl who was not even 'normal' by the standards of her own people... But he'd said he enjoyed her hair, this absurdly wild mane of curls that caused more trouble than any other part of her. "I... I do like your hair," she said at length. "It looks very manageable, perhaps the most orderly thing about you, since otherwise you seem quite comfortable with the outside, and all of its dustiness." She wouldn't usually enjoy such a thing. The outdoors were intrinsically messy, and Tytus had said they'd had a task earlier.

But, "It is a good idea. I do not often sit for any length of time with company, and since this is your spot, it would only do for us to sit together."

Tytus chuckled, "What had you not noticed?" He teased playfully, "I suppose you really are different." The last sentence was more a murmur as he studied her for a brief moment before glancing away, "That is in the fact that people tend to comment on my appearance quickly or is that too vain of me to think about?" He chuckled again as he leaned back against the ground, "I'm glad that you approve of my hair then if not for the color then for at least how it's managed. Don't mine me as I get more comfortable with the outside world some more." He wasn't for certain why he was driven to be such a joker at the moment, but perhaps it was the happiness he felt at being in this place with Seziah? She seemed to be opening up more to him and that was touching to Tytus. He was so thankful that he had been able to run into her and assist her in the marketplace that day. The man didn't dare to imagine what could have happened had the wrong hands found her instead of him.

"It'll be a rare occasion. I only wish I had brought more spirits to celebrate again." Tytus closed his eyes briefly, "Let's just enjoy this scene instead and listen to the sounds of the wind as it whips along the empty hills." As he settled into becoming comfortable the man did slowly move his head so that he could study Seziah once more, "I do hope that you can find it comfortable here if not see it as a home." He whispered quietly as he glanced towards the sky, "Tomorrow I'll have to show you some of our beasts so you can get more familiar with what is on the estate so let's simply take the time to rest up. If you don't like the dirty ground then you can use my vest for a pillow or even my lap if you're bold enough." He chuckled after a pause, "Of course I'm only jesting, but if you do need let me know." What was he saying? She would definitely think he was up to no good then! Or perhaps she would understand that he did have good intentions and simply wanted her to be at ease with their current situation and to realize that as a friend he would be there for her. Growing quiet again Tytus studied the clouds and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. And though he tried to be nonchalant about it Tytus would occasionally peek over towards Seziah to check in on her and make certain everything was still alright.

"Of course I had noticed," Seziah asserted with something nearly resembling an offended pout upon her lips. "I noticed, but I suppose something like hair, your hair specifically, it is not what I decided stood out most about you, so it was not relevant. I do think it is very nice, but it is your attitude that stood out more." She folded her legs beneath her, dusted her dress so that it was straightened and even at her sides, then folded her hands in her lap and faced forward. "There were many people in Oba's market that day I arrived, but none wanted to pay any mind to a strange Yaeli girl who had no business mingling among their kind. Except you, of course. You did not have to ask me why I thought I deserved to be here. You did not wonder what could have driven me from my lands. You only accepted me and welcomed me into your very home."

"It is... something I do not expect many would do. I told you I appreciated it, then. Even if your 'home' was filthy and unsuitable for a woman, infested with bugs and various creatures, it meant something," she enunciated the words carefully. "That you would invite me to your residence, keep me company, and help me find my place here. If I am different, then so are you."

And different, while it had always been conveyed was negative to her, it didn't seem so bad in this instant. From what she could tell, she may even like different people more than 'normal' ones, so long as they weren't 'different' in the way people like Sami and Litanu were...

Tytus was far from being anything like them. He was a good person, and by now, Seziah knew it to be true and believed it without further question. She still thought there may be more for her here than living in a room the size of a closet and servicing noble lords. She didn't know what it was yet, but it did feel as though she could progress from here. And if she didn't... With hesitance laced through every inch of her movement, Seziah dusted a palm against Tytus' fingers. If she didn't, then at least she hadn't achieved nothing. She did have a friend now, more than she'd ever had.

She exhaled, and allowed the rigidity in her posture to ease. "I have no other home. Yael has been the place of my residence, but already I feel as though I have more here than I ever had there. Please do not think me too forward, but I am, indeed, comfortable with you. And comfortable with this." A gust of a breeze danced around them, making her hair flutter as she too turned her gaze skyward. "I think... I will be happy here."
