Ashley is a single child who has lived a very privileged life. Her mother married the heir to a gem mining enterprise and together the couple expanded the company, confirming their place amongst elites. They not only supply stones for jewelers and portals but also harvest crystals for every day usage. Because of this company, the couple was able to spoil their daughter from the moment she was born. However, this has not made Ashley spoiled my any means. Though like any daddy's girl she has the best clothes and the prettiest jewelry, Ashley prefers to spend her time socializing and buying stuff for other people (and herself). She gets her sense of style from her mother who is a powerful influencer of the fashion industry. As of recently the family has launched a jewelry line created by Ashley herself and its proven quite profitable.

Brandi is the middle child from a traditional naiad home. Unlike her older sister Anaeia and her younger sister Clarissa, Brandi prefers not to rock the boat. She is very strict about following their communities customs and rules. She would never dream of dating an outsider or engaging in otherwise scandalous activities. Though she dreamed of being the new village match maker, per her parents wishes she instead took an apprenticeship with a jeweler who make the intricate pieces the women of her community decorated themselves with. A hopeless romantic and very feminine, Marissa is old-fashioned in her tastes and loves to feel courted and admired. She wants to be spoiled with attention and gifts. Cole grew up in a nuclear family. He had two loving parents and a younger sister. Around "middle school" he met his best friend Jake and they became joined at the hip. By the time "high school" rolled around Jake was popular and Cole being his shadow was included in the crowd. They were a pair and everyone knew that. It was around this time that Cole wondered if maybe they were more. He had never been with anyone before but Jake had and it seemed like the way he treated him was similar. He thought it best not to bring it up though.
A couple years later through the end of college, Jake was pretty much the only person who didn't know Cole's feelings. Afterall Jake was the one who protected him and spent quality time with him so in his mind they were together. Alice couldn't remember her mother .. and her father never wanted to speak of her. She supposed thats why they never stay in one place for long. It seemed like he was running away from someone she could never understand. Since she was little Alice had been "helping" her father with his performances. See he was an illusionist but he never told people that. He'd rather them believe he had supernatural powers beyond that of magic. Everyone wanted something and her father could convince them he could make that happen. By the time a person realize they had been deceived.. well Alice and her father were long gone. Now that Alice was older she still found herself being used. She didn't like cheating people but it was all she had never known and she hated that some part of her found a successful con satisfying. Mirrors..smoke...a pile of rocks disguised as precious jewels..this was her life. Alice wants nothing more than to go to college. She knows she smart.. but her father would never allow it and she couldn't afford it without his help. For now she would have to just play along, secretly trapped like a princess with a evil step mother..just waiting to be rescued.
Lindora never had much growing up. Her family was poor. There is no other way to put it. Despite this Lindora was never jealous or spiteful when it came to those at the academy with more than her. Her parents loved her very much and even though they had so little always managed to scrounge up money to give Lindora a chocolate bar on her birthday. Of course at the academy Lindora had access to luxuries such as chocolate but the fact her parents always did this for her was a gesture of kindness and love.
By the time she was a senior she had taken a liking to the business electives. Her councilor suggested she go to college for accounting or business administration but Lindora knew she could never afford it and she doubted she could win any scholarships. As the year progressed she was encouraged to join a club as it would look good on a resume since they lacked a business club... chocolatiering would have to do. It was a very niche subject and she wasn't sure why this club existed but it was one of the few that met at night and had open slots. To her surprise she quite enjoy'd the club activities making very types of chocolate treats. Using her business sense she was also able to help them maximize profits at the school bake sale. When Lindora graduated with honors she kept her passion for business but for chocolate since it would always have a place in her life.
Leo is the son of a chemist and a baker. It's an odd pair indeed and one you would never expect to result in an successful chocolates and desserts business. Now.. using the word empire would be a bit excessive but they were well known and quite wealthy. Leo took after both parents. He liked to experiment with flavors and chemicals like his mother but enjoyed making delicious treats with this knowledge much like his father. He decided he could serve the family business best by going to college after graduating academy. One chemistry degree later and he was ready to take their business to new heights. His mother was very proud.
With a new product in mind he planned a grass roots approach and paid for a booth at the local Hunter's Jubilee festival in the park. This is where he met Lindora who seemed to have the same idea as her booth was also an array of homemade chocolates. She had called in a few favors so that she could make some extra money to get buy. There was an instant spark between the two and it became a competition to see who could sell the most. While Leo's treats were a hit Lindora's sales strategy bagged her the win. Together the two would be a force to be reckoned with.
What started out as a partnership turned into a blossoming romance. Leo didn't care of Lindora's status. She was brilliant and smart and everything he could ever want in a woman. Not long after their business deal was signed...there wedding certificate was also signed. Of course Leo wouldn't stand for her parents not to attend so his family personally paid for their tickets and future expenses. The power couple now run Leo's family business as his parents are retiring. They are expecting children of their own.

Fawn loves everything and everyone. She is very outgoing and enjoys spending time with animals just as much as she does people.
