The rest of the soldiers were turning their attention to the masked meta as they shot at her while retreating.

Andy was furious, ripping into the throat of one of them and ripping it out, ignoring Kylar completely as she licked the blood away and continued to advance ...at least the truck suddenly dropped down between them. There was a flicker of surprised before she narrowed her eyes and jumped on it only to leap down on the other side to continue her destruction, she was injured and bleeding heavily but still seem to be going past what her limits were.

One of the soldiers was caught underneath the others were trying to deal with Andy. About 5 soldiers were left.

The soldiers moves their target to Kylar but they were backing up now there were 4 lefts as Andy took down another and was eyeing the other four. They made it to a truck and there was some seconds before the car tried to take off.

Andy was sparking burning the side of the car but at the same time lagging now as he skill ran its course. She hesitated before turning back to eat one one of the ones downed.

The emergency service crew were far enough that they didn't even know what was going on inside.

As the chains snaked around the truck and cut deep into the metal sides there was a little bit of movement from the front of the cab to the back followed by a large pop indistinguishable from a popping tire. As the chains finally cut completely through the truck there was...nothing. Somehow, someway the soldiers that had been inside had escaped.

Andy was was back up, not paying attention to Kylar nor to the bodies that littered the ground. She was in shock , resting one hand to her chest as she bleed heavily from multiple bullets wounds but she still pushed herself to keep on going just a little bit more...a little...bit more.

Stumbling to the pile of bodies, she gasping in pain more emotional what physical at who she saw there. She lightly touch the hair of a burned still life barely recognizable, then another meta with black hair and a long scar running under his eye without a single burn but full of bullets and shrapnel...very few of the recognizable ones that survived the explosion. Then off to the side of those that weren't caught in the fire but likely by who had stormed in afterwards was another child, red hair with a star on her forehead. There was an obvious flicker of grief but nothing as deep as what was felt for the other two. They will pay ......

She opened her mouth to say not to worry, that Haven won't have them but only unintelligible sounds came out. She clenched her teeth, tears trailing down her cheek as she tried to gather energy to burn the bodies ...burn them until they were of no use to Haven any more.

However, Nova's body, that had just been about to be put in the Haven truck, was gone and so was the truck. The only thing left behind was a small booklet left on the ground .

The book was an old fashion schedule book decorated with pencils, books and soccer balls on the cover. It was also slightly charred as the edges disintegrated in ash at his touch. Inside it showed Nova's schedule for the day and even the next, from calls to find out a problem with supplies arriving late to Sanctury to making room to speak in Tendren in room 148 lower levels of the main building, where long ago projects were done and their equipment packed, sometimes with the specimen themsleves.

By the time Kylar looked up there was a new fire and Andy was completely passed out by the burning pile, bleeding out.

Andy awoke up yelling and screaming as she tried to grab Kylar's leg, not even aware of who he was and try to pull it forward so he would fall back. She was still to weak but the pain giving her enough energy to attempt to do that.


Outside of the crackling of the flame it was deadly silent in the surrounding area. The peaceful and safe place for metas was in ruins now, a safe place it was no longer. While one building as nearly destroyed a good chunk of it was still miraculously standing.

Andy glared at him fiercely under the helmet and flipped him the birdy before her eyes rolled back and she passed out again.

In the distance siren's started up again and were coming in their direction.

Andy was taken through the portal, completely unconscious.

The sirens sounded close but they weren't visible yet and as Kylar appeared in the building they seem to stop just out of range. It looked like he wouldn't be interrupted right at this moment.

Inside of the building fire were still smoldering here and shrapnel was obviously buried deep into the wall of the hallway. The rooms looked whole though and as he went in deeper everything looked a little more steady. As he walked he could see that doors had been broken or missing and as he reached the room he was looking for it looked the same as the others, something has broken into it, inside was a normal room and it looked like mess as if someone had been in there and had put up a fight before being dragged out.

A few papers were thrown around but the papers themselves seem to be non-consequential things. The only real clue in the room were a pattern of blood on the wall as if someone had been shot before being taken away.

Outside Kylar was able to gather what he needed just as there was a crack and half the roof of the main building folded inward. That illicted a shout of surprise from near by, seem Kylar was not the only one there now as the soldiers from before were returning with backup.
