Although the group was a little disappointed from the first house being empty they were quick to bounce back in action!
Bailey reached up and knocked on the second door, A happy looking nightmare came out of the door.... At least Bailey thought that was a happy smile...
In fact it was a little... twisted? The nightmare dropped a School pencil with a grinning Pumpkin on the top and Heavy Crystal covered rock thing. All the others in his group moaned about the pencils (Bailey was secretly pleased, he enjoyed getting new school supplies!) He looked down into his bag and the Crystal thing MOVED! He was startled but when it popped out a tiny head he realized it was a Torti! He'd only ever seen them in books - It was really very cute!

Alula was ready this time, when they knocked on the next door she was not going to jump up instead she'd do a happy little jig and a twirl!
Kicking her heels up with Glee the answering nightmare clapped at her little performance, Alula was delighted and secretly very pleased she was being appreciated!
She received a singing ring of Pumpkin charms, she smiled at the adorable thing and decided to affix it to her baggy, swinging it proudly beside her!
Lau was excited about the next house. She was hoping that this time she would get a treat. The first house they arrived to was scary. They had monsters everywhere and ghosts in their trees. They light flickered around the house. Lau decided not to walk up to the house and stayed with the group leader. As Ignatius walk up to the house with Eight he heard a little noise that was coming from the other freshlings. He noticed there bracelets where singing. He wanted one so bag. As he was walking up he was watching all the other freshling show their parents and guardians. The old litch mist have noticed that the bracelets caught his attention because as soon as Ignatius went to say trick or treat the old litch gave him a bracelet. Ignatius was so happy he walked back as quick as possible to show all his friends. Eight looked at Lau and seen that she was too scared of this house. She hugged lau and walked up to the house with Ignatius. When she walked up the was a old litch giving out goodies. Eight opened her bag and he dropped a pencil in her bag. She was so happy because she loves pencils. She walk amback with Ignatius with a big smile on her face. Lau
Jamie gently pet the tortie before pausing. What was he suppose to do with the tortie now? It wasn't as if he could put a living creature in his trick or treat bag. That just seemed rather rude. He frowned and toddled up to the next house and held the little guy out at he called out for more treats instead of his bag. Maybe they could help him?
"That is a cute gem torti, maybe he will fit in your pocket?" The imp suggested and handed him a rather creepy doll.
Jamie paused because it did seem like good advice and placed the torti in his costumes hoodie like pockets and took the doll to be polite. It was weird.
He frowned at it and gave a startle noise as the eyes seemed to move. Nope! He tossed it up in the air and stared at it crossed eye as it seemed to float there and then peered up. Oooh a jelly!
"You can keep that... if you want." Jamie told the jelly. Maybe the jellyfish liked creepy things.
Rosline eagerly went to the next house, proclaiming "Trick or Treat" cheerfully and beaming brightly. She gave a happy noise as it opened and a litch appeared with an armful of plushies! They were just so cute! She got to pick out one and an eraser and gave a heartfelt thank you!
She had to find her siblings to show off her new things. She paused and caught sight of her brother. "Pollux!" She yelled out, waving and got pushed onward by her guardian. She pouted but followed along. Latter she would get to show off all her goodies to her siblings
Lau and the group came up to the next house. She was sure this time she would get something good. She walk up to the house and open her bag. “ Trick a treat!!” She smiled. The home owner dropped a toothbrush in her bag. She staired at the toothbrush and tears started to fall from her face. She was sad because she has not received anything good from any house yet. She seen all the cool things her friends received and it made her jealous. The home owner seen that launstarted to cry and Then they looked inside of their bucket and grabbed a plushie and handed it to her. Lau face light up and thanked the home owner. Ignatius staired at the bucket of goodies. He had no clue what to grab. Then he seen an something on a stick. He thought it was a cake pop and it turned out to be a candy apple. Ignatius never had one of these but it looked very delicious. He stuck it back in his basket and was very happy to have it. He cpuld wait to get home to eat it.
Eight was very concerned with this doll in her bag. The lady that was handing out candy was confused on how the doll was in the bucket of candy. The kady didn’t question it and just gave the doll to Eight. Before the eight walked away she felt her bag move. She opened her bag and the doll was looking up from the bag smiling at her but still motionless. Lau
Bailey was really starting to hit his groove, this was a really exciting event, and seeing everyone come together for it was a real joy! Bailey loved being around other nightmares, He was a little shy so doing events like this was a good chance to spend some time with other Freshlings.
They rang the doorbell on the third door... but it was a trick doorbell, it Emittted a loud witches cackle at the group of freshlings, Bailey was a little afraid, it made him jump! The nightmare came out with a scary monster mask on, the other freshlings laughed but Bailey really wasn't very keen on this house! He reached into the Nightmares basket and pulled out a Turnip with a smiley face... Bailey looked down at it in his hand... well at least it was smiling? Maybe the Torti would eat it while they walked around...

Alula was happily swinging her bag along, hearing the happy tinkle of the Pumpkin charms on her bag was a good representation of how well this evening was going! Her group sidled up to the next door on the street, Alula had perfected the twist and jazz hands when the door opened, She liked to make nightmares smile! But this nightmare wasn't overly smiley... They grunted and dropped an assortment of school supplies in the freshlings bags, Alula got a notebook... well least that was something... better than an eraser like some of the others received. Attached to the notebook however was a glowing thing... OH! It was a Wisp! It was so pretty, and her favorite colors (Red and Purple, like her parents!) "I'm gunna call you Wilma the Wisp!"
Pollux looked around at the other freshlings, he was looking for the group that his sibling was in, he didn't want to miss them all night after all they were family. He was pretty sure that they were dressed as a knight or princess or maybe both?? He shrugged it was like it mattered this night was all about having fun, he wondered why there were so tight on security but Polliux shrugged that off too he was happy. He was given a pretty lantern by a sweet shy nixie he smiled softly and thanked them for the treat this was so much fun.
Magi was actually rather happy to get the notebook it was pretty and she could write all sorts of things in it maybe she could figure out more things about herself if she wrote in it like a journal. She just needed to get a pencil and she would be all set. She looked around at her group and wondered what the other freshlings had gotten so far. She smiled and thanked the naga for the notebook then went off to rejoin her group of freshlings and get ready to go to the next house. She wondered what she would find next.
Aelius jr walked along with his group, he was having a delightful time he was so happy, he went to the next door and said trick or treat there. The green demon smiled back at him and gave him a really cute bracelet. Aelius smiled brightly and put the bracelet on and thanks the demon. Then he went to go show the other freshlings in his group his new treat he was so happy, this was such a great holiday he was a hallow but he had been born of hallowed parents so he hadn't been awoken during the season.
Shock picked up the fake eyeball and showed it to his torti friend he grinned and continued on putting his weird eyeball in his bag, then he growled and smiled pretending to wave like a noble prince. That's what noble princes did right? Unless he could find a creature to slay or maybe a princess to slay that might be amusing after all Shock liked dragons so he didn't want to slay a dragon or a beast that wouldn't be any fun. He kinda wished he had a pony or something to ride so he could look kool and stuff.
Andrew was given a pencil at the last house he was at he turned to thank them and leave when he was a bright floating familiar, they seemed to really like Andrew. He didn't really know anything about Wisps did they eat food or something? Andrew was really curious and wanted to do a chalk drawing of the pretty Wisp. He smiled softly and walked along with his new friend happy to be with his new friend. They weren't the new friend that he had expected to find but Andrew knew the Wisp wouldn't make fun of his chalk drawings so that was nice.
Jamie cheerfully trotted over to the next house with his group. It was a bit dark and spooky and perhaps they weren't suppose to go? But some of the others in the group wanted to knock on the door. No one answered and he left a bit down. The group caretaker reminded them that when lights were out, the owners had decided not to give out treats this year and lets just keep to houses with the porch light on for now on.
There was a lot of those. He perked up slightly. Maybe that meant he would get some candy soon. He had been promised candy and so far, had not got any.
Oooh! More plushies! Questioning her siblings where about was temporary forgot as Rosline turned her attention to the armful of Kiddens plushes. They were all so cute! Which one did she pick? She finally decided on the orange and green one because it matched her ferret plushie and gave a happy squeal and hugged it close when the adult passed it down to her. <3
She also was given a toothbrush, but that was okay. She got another cute plushie! She was going to have a collection. She was going to have to name them! What to name them? It had to be something good.
