Jace nodded when Kimberly-Anne said he wasn't going to go to her dorm first. "Alright" he said and watched her leave then looked to Kolya when he talked about tomorrow. "I agree. I have no idea. I haven't met any of the teachers yet" he said as they made their way towards the open door waiting for Kimberly. He watched as as he came back and flew out the door. He could see Kolya trying to help make her feel less awkward so he used his ability to transport the short distance through the shadows between the lounge and outside. "Boo!" he said playfully knowing they saw him. "On an adventure we go" he said and began to walk with them. "You guys can lead the way. I still don't know where everything is" he admitted.

He looked around a little more and noticed that the Student Lounge was pretty much empty, with one or two students using their laptops in the corner for gaming. Deciding he might as well use his time to practice, he grabbed his guitar and amplifier, at his feet, and paused for a moment. Gamers wouldn't want distraction. He let out a sigh of defeat and went to his dorm room to put his musical instruments and extras away.

He felt a bit out of place since most of the people he'd passed getting there seemed older than him, not used to being the baby anymore. He headed to the student lounge since he figured he could get some information about more of the campus downstairs but got distracted, seeing all the arcade games, hearing them call to him. Letting out a small groan, he walked over to the game room and looked around a bit. "What?! Mortal Kombat 2? That's my s**t!" he said to no one in particular as he looked through his pockets for some change, putting in a couple quarters before he started playing, being fairly decent at the game in front of him.

He had only noticed when he heard the boy shout about a video game. He stopped playing his instrument and put his guitar in its case before making his way over. "Not a lot of people can beat this game. Some like to say it's cursed," he said in his light German accent. He flicked strands of dirty blonde hair from his face as he waited to see what the newcomer would say about the school legend. That and he merely wanted to strike up a conversation.

"Oh, hey, 'sup?" he said as a way of acknowledging the other male was there. "Wow really? I had this same game at my parent's place back in LA and I beat it like, all the time," Max wasn't lying and was fairly confident in his abilities to play a video game, especially an old one. "I'm Max. I just got here really. Got off my plane like a couple hours ago so I'm like, really new," the male said, introducing himself but still focusing on the game in front of him.

I've been at the university for the past day and a half. I would expect you are doing majors and minors in something related to gaming? I'm majoring in Music and minoring in choir, drama, and film screen tv." Axel admitted, keeping his voice down and his sentence drawn out to not distract Max from the game. It was interesting to see him excel where so many students had flunked. "You either have luck on your side or you are controlling the game, and I right?" he asked, using his intuitive aptitude to clue in to Max's powers. It wasn't intentional, it was something his power did on it's own. The power itself was to understand how things worked, allowing him to copy them. A curse disguised as a blessing, since it was confusing to understand so many powers around him.

I'm here moreover to learn about television and stuff since I want to either direct or act one day. I think I have the talent for it at least. Gaming is just fun," Max said with a smile, pausing the game for a moment and looking at Axel with a small laugh. "You got me, I'm a pretty lucky guy, he admitted before shrugging some. "But honestly it's because I know this game like the back of my hand," Max started the game back up, doing fairly well as usual. He never liked cheating during a game so he didn't ever mess with the wiring or anything, just let his gaming intuition take over to decide what everything else was going to do.

I want to be a musician or a Broadway performer or an actor. Something I can act or sing. It's where my heart is." He was happy to know that Max wasn't cheating on the game, but was surprised with his progress. He'd be nearing the final battles soon, much further than any other student had. A new record would be implemented and students would claim the curse had been lifted. Qeue's would form to try and beat the latest score, it's how arcades worked. "I've always been bad with games, even if I know how they work. I can pretty much guess the ending and it makes it a bore for me," he admitted.

"Maybe, that'd be kind of cool," he said, thinking about how it would be pretty awesome to make a friend here and then see them afterwards in their own jobs and such. He bit his lip some as he got through the last guy to the first boss, smiling when he did. "I've been good with games since I could remember, all sorts too, even card games and all that. I can't really turn my stuff off you know? Well, except for taking things apart or making them better and such, I can turn that off," Max was referring to his powers obviously, having had them since birth and unable to control two of them. "I mean, I kinda understand the whole 'guessing the ending' thing but it's more like I can predict how the game is going to act instead of how it will end so I can adapt to the move-set better," Max explained, basically knocking the first boss out with a prefect score before the second one came up.

Vera walked into the room, flicking her champagne-colored hair from her vibrant blue eyes. As she turned her head from side to side, her glasses slid down her nose. She pushed the glasses up as she clutched on to her journal. She was looking for the red and silver mug she had put down when she was passing through the Student Lounge to her Dorm Room. In the time it had taken her to get to her room, she had managed to misplace it. The mug, although it looked cheap and something easily replaced, was something her mother had made by hand. Vera carried it with her everywhere she went. To her, it was as priceless as the Hope Diamond. She didn't want to shout and make a scene over something deemed so simple, but she was unable to find it and was becoming anxious. As she looked around the room, she saw two boys beside the gaming consoles. She briskly walked over, her mind churning quickly with how to ask the question. Stopping beside them, she knew it was best to just ask upfront. " Sorry to disturb," she began with a sheepish grin, " but I'm looking for a mug. It's red with silver Celtic knot-work painted across the middle. I had it when I was coming in, but it's not in my dorm. Can I get your help looking for it?"

-I- silent_ame -I- emotion_dowant And they run to the student lounge! Which is realistically just across the street pretty much. I think I'll put Dennis in this to help Jace out a little, power negation and all. //////Age: 25 +++++ Major: Forensic Science +++++ Minors: Police Science, Fitness, Addiction Therapy, Criminology +++++ Extra-Curricular: Krav Maga Blood Manipulation & Pain Manipulation & Necromancy Kolya ran after Jace, his gut churning at seeing his reaction. They shared similar powers for darkness, he understood the chaos inside that always bubbled below the surface. He wasn't in pain, and he could stop the bleeding on his own. He didn't mean to scare Jace that much, he just wanted him to regain control. Maybe the alcohol was a bad decision? He bolted after his friend, watching him disappear into the Student Lounge where he caught up.
"Dude, don't run from me like that! Talk to me!" he shouted, reaching for Jace's arm to catch, only to see shadows moving in again. He took a step back, before the shadows dropped and the pain set in. Is this how normal people feel? The blood started seeping through his shirt again and his eye's widened. Next thing he knew, there was no pain and he could manipulate the blood back. Someone with power negation was nearby, so he needed to be careful or he could be in a serious condition.
////////////Age: 49 +++++ Major Taught: Drama+++++ Minors Taught: Entertainment, Screen/Television/Media, Pilates, & Physiotherapy +++++ Extra-Curricular Taught: A Capella Power Negation Dennis was walking through the Student Lounge to make himself a coffee, mostly because he was too tired to make his way all the way to the café outside, even if it was 24/7. He stood at the kettle, yawning lightly, rubbing at his eyes. The sudden flurry of screaming voices and shadows moving where there should not be kicked him into gear. He took a deep breath, poured his coffee, took a large gulp, and closed his eyes. When he opened them, they were devoid of colour and glowing softly. There was an absolute stillness within proximity of him, at least 40 feet (12 metres). The shadows stopped, but he could see blood begin pooling from the other boy. He stopped his powers for a moment, waiting to see if the shadows came back. So far, they didn't. He waited to see how this was going to go down, if it was an attack or an accident. Their reactions did not make him think it was intentional, but he needed to be sure.

Jace ran to the student lounge trying to get into his room. He always pannicked when he lost control because people got really hurt. Unlike Kolya they couldnt control their pain or blood flow. He stopped when Kolya shouted at him to stop. The lights somewhat he;lped him regain a little control but he was struggling still. He turned to look at Kolya only to see him bleeding still and he stepped back when he tried to reach for him. "Don't touch me!" he said and tried to relax himself. "S-sorry... I dont wan to hurt you more..." he said looking around at the shadows. Suddenly it all just stopped. The shadows were normal again and he looked at his hands. He knew it wasnt him who did it. He looked around only to see a professor. He gulped an held his hands to his chest. He was sure he was going to be in trouble for losing control like he did. He kept his eyes on the ground unable to look at his friend...if he was still his friend and he was afraid to look at the teacher. He honestly wanted to just run to his room and sit in the shower under some cold water.

-I- silent_ame -I- Okay, I let Nightmare know about the altercation, she's gonna have Leora in the Student Lounge to maybe give Jace some help if he wants it, otherwise Jace can just go to bed. Age: 49 +++++ Major Taught: Drama+++++ Minors Taught: Entertainment, Screen/Television/Media, Pilates, & Physiotherapy +++++ Extra-Curricular Taught: A Capella Power Negation Dennis looked between the two and let out a sigh. "Alright, let's not get out of control here. You," he said as he pointed at Kolya, "need to go to the medical facility. You might be able to control your blood, but the arm still needs to heal. It shouldn't take you too long to be patched up."
He turned to look at Jace, focusing on his body language. Trauma, accident, ran through his mind. He put his hands into his pocket an tilted his head to the seats nearby. "If you don't mind, I'd like a little chat. You're not in trouble, I just want to see if there's anything I can help with before you go to bed," he quietly said.
////////////Age: 25 +++++ Major: Forensic Science +++++ Minors: Police Science, Fitness, Addiction Therapy, Criminology +++++ Extra-Curricular: Krav Maga Blood Manipulation & Pain Manipulation & Necromancy Kolya opened his mouth to protest, but he realised it was futile. The teacher had a point, he might not feel pain and he could prevent blood loss, but he still had gashes in his arm that needed healing. He turned out of the Student Lounge and made his way to the nearby Medical Facility, where he could be seen by one of the volunteers. He hoped that everything could be smoothed out before it was too late between him and Jace.
