"Puh- lease. I'm surprised your mug didn't melt it." Scorn arrives in the person of a short peachy-blonde Hunter whose hands are on her hips, eyes narrowed, lips pursed in the best impression of a librarian the world has ever seen. It didn't seem to distress Dinah that the girl taking the photos had horns; at this point she'd seen far too many interesting things to care about horns. Some people had horns, some people had fangs, some people had delusions of grandeur that involved being the soulmate of her twin sister. Guess which one she was actually upset about? Oh wait, you didn't have to guess, because she was making it quite obvious. "Why don't you go harass some other poor creature? Nobody wants to look at you." Toki's interest might be caught by the small clock hanging on a delicate silver chain around Dinah's neck; it's the only thing shiny about her. pyrogoth http://toyhou.se/1171554.dinah-chambers/gallery

"Hmm...there is not much to be found here. Perhaps in one of those cabins...? Surely no one is living in a building in such disrepair." "Oh! Hello! Hello, friend!" Toki waves, a little too enthusiastically, bits of cloth and wood falling out of her sleeves. "Would you, by any chance, happen to know if those buildings are free for scavenging -- I mean, for tidying up?" Huni Pi its fine!! just let her know if you want a photo or a keychain (if it's a keychain, any cloth scraps you have on hand would be very welcome...

Toki runs up to the rather familiar-looking person lurking in the corner, photographs forgotten. "Oh! Oh. You have come back to life! A most remarkable event!" " ...Perhaps this time, you will spend less time being dead and more time collecting shiny objects." "Hm? No, no. I said nothing. It seems we have ended up in the same place once again! ...You would not, by any chance, happen to know what this place is?" She waves her arms around for emphasis, scattering pieces of leaves and string around, and leaving the forest in a slightly worse state then when she first arrived.

You know what? There is no time like the present. Toki walks up to the line of rather ramshackle buildings, and immediately starts pilfering the torn clothing and bits of colored thread hanging on a clothesline. Found [Cloth scrap: Indigo], [Cloth scrap: Yellow] and [Cloth scrap: White]! OOC wow welcome to a life of crime i mean im pretty sure at least A COUPLE of ppl are living in those buildings

October gives Toki a long, vacant stare.
Then he says, voice dropped low, like he's speaking some huge secret, "Are you a ghost?"
Then he adds sagely, "This is a camp. A summer camp, where people come to do things like cuddling and pool parties and sit around a camp fire and roast S'mores and eat snacks and sing songs and talk about their feelings while listening to slow, floaty guitar music."
None of this is true whatsoever.

Dinah receives an outraged look from Nash.
"I'm not harassing anyone," he says indignantly, reaching out to pat Toki's shoulder and missing, instead getting somewhere in the vicinity of her arm. "See? We're like, best friends now, she totally made me a keychain and everything."
Dinah receives a sparkling, winning smile.

Shu was kinda surprised when the student spoke some fluent Chinese and rarely smiled warmly. Chinese was after all her mother language. "That's my first time seeing one, though I have a Nian(年獸) as my partner. Yup, it's our job to guard them back to where they're from." The petite Asian talked with pride and blinked at the suggestion of a photograph. "It's hard to say no but I'd like a picture of us, not only myself." Her expression softened a little bit at the student's purity and innocence. "Taking a picture alone can be a sad thing, especially when you look at the photos later for memory retrival."

She was surprised to see another person where she'd been dragged to, though she was more focused on posing for the selfie than actually introducing herself. When it was done she beamed at Toki and the other guy and at the final product.
"Please, that was all me," said the girl as she tucked away her copy. Before she could say anything else another girl jumped in with a pretty rude comment that made her snicker, and somehow she felt compelled to give Nash a comforting pat on the arm. She didn't though.
No, she kind of just sat back to chill and maybe follow after the person to leave that seemed like they knew where they were going.

You would have thought the pair verbally warring with each other were children instead of one of them being halfway to 30, completely ancient and clearly suffering dementia, and then a full-grown adult such as Dinah was. "Have you ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome? It's that thing the Beast did to Beauty in their movie." Or so the internet said; she wasn't really up-and-up on her Disney movies or the anti-feminist symbolism in them. (Somewhere Caroline Ryland was having a tingling in her brain as someone inched closer to being Woke). Gesturing to Toki and Gabby she put her hands on her hips. "Come on. Trust me. You don't want to be near that."

Ekaterina was lost. She was 5000 percent lost. She'd gone for a swim in a pond near Amityville Academy. When she'd surfaced, however, she was absolutely baffled to find herself NOT near Amityville Academy. She did not know how she'd gotten here, and she wasn't happy about it. She managed to dry off, though her long blond hair was still somewhat damp, beyond the normal 'water dripping' effect, and she finally decided to explore. Maybe she'd be able to figure out where she was. As she was moving, she heard voices, and decided to follow them. When she saw a smaller girl with horns, she moved towards her, a smile gracing the pretty demoness's face. She didn't know about the other people, but she definitely recognized a fellow student. The others looked... human. Well, she could pass for human, generally, she thought, though in reality she had no clue. She eyed the group, studying the men with a hint of curiosity, and it was probably good she'd missed the accusation the young woman with the clock made towards the dark haired young man. "Ah.. Hello. I'm lost, does anyone know where I am...?" She called out, addressing anyone in the vicinity

Joy couldn't help but stare at the... this was a Halloweener right? Not one of those humans who were really into funky fashion, right? With the influx of heavily-dyed hunters waking lately, Joy's found it very hard to tell. But they were friendly and there were rules in Camp Lucy, but mostly it was because they brought up the cabins.
Which Joy really should have gotten around to helping fix up if she ever learned carpentry. As it stands, "Ay, sorry, no. The cabins are off-limits to non-Campers. We gotta make do with what we got, you see. But if you need to get somewhere, I can mos def accompany you to where you wanna go?" she offered with a bright, friendly smile.

"Snacks! Cuddling! Feelings. How wonderful!" Toki says. This forest is much more populated than she first thought. She has no idea what guitars or s'mores are, but perhaps they are shiny. One can always hope. "Cuddling sounds like an enjoyable social activity! Come! Let us try it!" She shuffles up and pulls him in with one arm, mooshing their faces together. The other arm snakes around, surreptitiously patting, checking for any gold-filled pockets. Just in case. kuropeco wow back to the frisking im srr

"Come, come! We are all friends here," Toki says, wrongly, inaccurately, misguidedly, with incredible capacity to misread the situation. Before anyone can react, the camera is out, flashing three times. OOC THIS POST WAS DONE B4 I HAD THE OK TO ******** your characters up with terrible expressions SO NO CRAPPY ART FOR THIS

Dinah is given an outraged look from where Nash stands somewhere near Gabby.
"Who exactly are you referring to as the beast in this scenario?" Nash says indignantly. He's got his hands on his hips in a mirror image of Dinah, and the pair of them are scowling at each other like the very bestest of friends ever (except not).
To the newest of newcomers, he says, over his shoulder, "Never Never Land."
It's spectacularly unhelpful.

October is very much okay with cuddling, regardless of who the other party is, and finds taking photographs very pleasing. He gives the camera a vague, but pleasant smile, smooshed up beside the girl, whose name he has deduced is something like Cookie.
Toki won't find any gold in his pockets, but what she does find is a neon blue Yo-Yo, an unopened package of Pocky, two quarters, approximately six of those umbrella shaped toothpicks, and some lint.
