Kim nodded and looked down at the henna tattoos she had. She had never wanted one etched forever in her skin. She was too changeable for that to work. Still there was a bit of a wonder. Maybe to cover a scar or something at some point. She did have a few around her ankle from famine beetles.

Kim smiled again. "Ace, yeah he is pretty. He is the first one I took a selfie for. I was fighting a Famine horseman, and he was back in camp so I took a picture with the horseman trying to stab me, just so he felt he was there. Our trainer got soooo pissed."

Kim liked that memory, it was a big one for her. She then sighed a little wistfully. "Yeah so many seem to come and go, it is hard to know who to bond with." She again just shrugged it off. "We are the front lines, the ones that kick a** and don't bother with names, as Vayne used to say when I got in a fight." She missed him.

Looking back at the oil she nodded again and shifted to sit down. "So you met a few new people there. That is cool. I met some at Truth, but... that was when I was kind of trapped on an island for a year, that turned out to be in my mind.. That is a major mind trip."

Kim gave a light chuckle. "I don't usually look at the pictures on twitter. I guess it is there and I missed it." She curled her lips into something a little less like the smile at the mention of Vayne. Why had she mentioned his name? She hadn't brought him up in years.

"Vayne.. he was.. my best friend. I met him a long time ago... He just vanished." She made a small fist then opened her hand fast as if just letting something go and watching it vanish. "I.. I don't think I am ready to say more.. not yet."

Kim grit her teeth a bit and then bowed her head before shaking it all away. "Anyway... so other than Lysander and his poor trapped soul. You met Terry, Ace and.. did you say Melvin was there too? He and I had it out a while ago.. phew you would have thought one of us would have lit the other on fire. I guess we are on talking terms again though..." Kim smirked.

"Yeah the blow up was during the year too, I mean the part of it that was real. See there was an attack by an giant squid thing on the island, and we were all fighting, those of us there got swept away to an island, trapped there for a year, or so we all thought. In the end we woke up on the beach here again and it was only three days. To us though, it was the whole year." She went and sat back down again, bowing her head over the back of the turned around chair. "I.. really learned a lot then. One big thing was... nah you don't need to know that part..." She shook her head. "It would be like telling rumors. Truth yes.. since it was all Truth or truth, and I guess a piece of common knowledge but still.. Just watch who you get too close with around here, some have darkness that isn't so far in the past as you would think. Some are not who you think they are. Looks can be deceiving."

She wondered if that was saying too much. It was kind of like warning a new friend not to be a friend. "I mean, trust some people, sure we have to as you said, just.. try and look below the surface, and maybe ask friends if you aren't sure."
