Seeing Arachne's attack in play against a mutual enemy and actually experiencing the effects of the acid orb were two very different things. The smell as it sizzled through the feathers of her collar was
horrible. Later, in reflection, she would be grateful that she'd pulled her hair up and away from her neck before he'd arrived, not wanting it in the way during their fight.
She had expected the sting. To an extent she had expected more than that-- an odd feeling, maybe, or even an itch similar to what one might expect from a bug bite. She had
not expected the burn as a few drops of acid filtered down through the feathers of her collar to drip onto skin.
Her reaction was a wide-eyed stare at the Senshi of Spiders followed by an almost instant call of her secondary attack, determined to get her opponent as far away from her as possible.

Attack #1a - Violent Revenge![Once activated a shadow rises up behind Sailor Corvus, looming and shifting until it takes the shape of wings spreading behind her. The shadow brings with it an imposing aura that spreads out to Corvus's attacker, leaving behind a feeling of cold dread as if divine vengeance is looming near.
This time vengeance closes in, bringing with it a forceful impact of negative energy. This 'punch' is the force of vengeance, returning the damage that was dealt to Corvus by her opponent (if two opponents are attacked the damage is halved between them).]
Duration: Activation requires one post from Corvus with the after effects felt in her opponent's next immediate post. After effects should fade following that.
Avoidable: If the opponent can make it outside of the shadow's reach, yes, but Vengeance moves fast and most lower level opponents are unable to get out of range fast enough.
AOE: Up to two opponents within 20ft radius per attack. Must be within 10ft of one another.
Uses: 2 -- Does not have to be directed towards the same opponent each time, provided she has been attacked by more than one.
