we are a bit suspicious this morning are'nt we Shem? xd
well, as I saw so far none of the none-jewish people that joined the guild tryed to convert us all.....
to all the NY ppl!
last year I was in NYC and I saw a wired black dude standing in the middel of the street and saying that the black people are the real jews and we shuld burn alaive and go to hell.....
WTF?!

The worst I've ever encountered is door-to-door prosletizers or whatever. Or people trying to sell me the New Testament and trying to convince me that even Jews need a copy of the Bible. I have friends who have run into J4J on the Metro though, they get annoyed about it.
And to our New Yorkers- I get to go to New York in two weeks! I'm so psyched, last time I went was ten years ago, and I really don't remember it since I was like, 5.

Are we sharing stories?
I get the door to door crap more often than I care to think about. Also get the people at the bus stop that seem to pounce whenever I sit down. There was one the other night, standing in the middle of the street, trying to hand out tracts as the cars drove by. I'll be surprised if he made it through the night in one piece.

The reasons why Christians and J4J's pass out tracts and go door to door is because of the mitzvot they were given to go and make disciples of all nations.

thats creepy.. i had to do that for my chathlic group... -.- i was so embaressed i apoligized to all the people for going to their door, then i gues someone was like all invauled with the church and they called and i got in ******** trouble because " i had a un faithful aditude" i was like thinking" yea.. because i don't want to be here you stupid moron.. and it's friday i should be at a synagogue but no i have to be here, and my parents to be all evil and s**t... it's all your fualt you know that right you stupid moron" then i just walked off before i said all that stuff. i almot got kicked out of my cathlic retreat for my confirmation that i'm being forced into because we were doing these activites and like i put stars of david all over my little packit (we coudl draw on them) and like i was telling the truth when they asked like i think it was "how do you describe your faith to god through the cathlic church" i was like " i don't have a faith to god  through the cathlic church, i believe in god i don't have faith in him, and it's not through the cathlic church" oh yea don't say that. i got introuble again for "having a bad adittude" then the nun went on saying how i was upsetting god.... stupid moron ... wait what is the name of this thread lol.... we need a spam thread.. if we dont' already have one

aww half of that was in yiddish or hebrew so i didn't get it but it must have been nice ::huggs:: yea i have yet to go to a synagogue i'm trying to plan how to get there on my own since my parents flattly told me they aren't for me being jewish, they think that judaism thinks that god doesn't have some say in your life that he doesn't control yoru destiny or something i don't know, i'm still going to be jewish when i'm 18
