She didn't have a future so most of the time she indulged in her past. Excluding the bits and pieces, she did enjoy her childhood. It was so easy to space out when one did repeated tasks, hands were still working but her mind had flew to somewhere already. The silence together with the sugar had lowered her grumpiness considerably and work had almost done when time slowly passed. The bag of potatoes on her side was cleared, she flexed her neck gently. "I think so." The pleasant golden yellow hue of them reminded the petite huntress of the delicious baked potatoes.

When she said as much he cast his eyes downward at her now empty potato sack and sighed. That was fine, too; he may as well have been working alone anyway. At least one of them was potentially free from the boredom of this monotonous assignment. That is, of course, unless she wanted to be nice and help him out.
"Cool. I've still got half of mine to do. If you wanna get going, feel free. If not, I wouldn't say 'no' to a little help."
There was a pause before he added, "You don't have to, though. Just sayin'."

The petite huntress didn't accept or reject anything, instead, she simply gave him a long focused "you're strange" glance before she went back to her chair and picked up a potato. They didn't divided their work in the beginning, so she won't leave until all of the potatoes are peeled. Even she had changed, the sense of responsibility was still inside her. As fickle as a feline, she didn't have anything planned as she expected it to spend her a few hours. Taking a nap might be a good idea, but it didn't gurantee if she would have nightmares or not. Besides, her roommates won't be there, they both had duties until late night.

Rhys just went right on peeling regardless of what her answer might be, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't at least a little relieved when she sat down and picked up a potato.
"Thanks."
And it was right back to peeling. One potato, two potato, three potato, four. It wasn't long before he picked up the last of them and he let out a sigh.
"Last one, finally!" he said before rolling his shoulders and ultimately stretching out (with the knife in his hand, but he was careful not to direct it at Shu). "If I never peel a potato again, seriously...it'd be too soon."

Peeling potoatoes were boring but she loved to have her mind occupied. As a Pisces, she had the trait of thinking too much. The petite huntress was fully aware of that as well. That was why she still registered for trivial duties even she became a full hunter. When she was off duty, she preferred to listen to music as long as she won't have too much time to think. It might be rare to see her clapping when the last potato was peeled, but that was a good sign. As long as you don't step on a cat's tail, it would be chilling. That was how she was acting. "What would you prefer to do then? Underwater observation? Supply run?" Her tone was not sarcastic this time as she washed her hands clean before eating her last macaron.

Once he finished he dropped the last potato in the bin and raised both hands up, as if he were a referee calling a touchdown, but more in a celebratory fashion. When he was done he shoved the bin filled with peeled potatoes aside and gathered up the ones full of the peelings, setting them off to the side close to the door since they'd have to be the ones to throw them out.
Rhys went to wash his hands as well, giving the wall in front of him a thoughtful look when she asked what he wanted to do next. "A supply run sounds more productive. What about you?"

Her chewing action came to a pause when she realized the hunter had taken her words as an invitation for a supply run. Her eyes rolled left and right, tried to figure out what to say but ended up with a "I agree." Maybe it would be good to go outside from time to time, the island felt like a cage for her. Even she had nowhere to go, even all her friends were on the island. [END]
