"Unwanted attention? Are we talking about how you feel towards the attention or how I feel towards the attention?"

Although Alrik Rey had a lot to learn about women, he wasn't entirely stupid when it came to the fairer sex. Cass clearly enjoyed having compliments and stares lavishing her - it was him that didn't take too kindly to the prospect of sharing while he was present. What she did on her own time was at her own discrepancy.

He allowed himself to be nudged backwards, the tall boy then finding himself being guided away from the door and off towards the sidewalk. Ali was enjoying the feeling of his arm sliding around her waist that he almost missed her question.

Wait, huh?

"Give away too much of what?"

"Babe, you could be an open book and I'd still want to read you."

Okay, well, that made a lot more sense in his head than it did out loud. Oh well.

Taking advantage of their height difference, he used his arm to reach around and drape across her shoulder, doing his best to hide the fact that he was over the moon with her decision to press her head against his chest. He didn't even have to tug her close - she came willingly and that was breathtaking in itself.

The moment was fleeting, the free spirited woman soon pulling away, fingers dragging him onward as he followed willingly. "You gotta let me do a little thinking, Cassie - how else am I gonna find the words to tell you just how hot you look today?"

Truth be told, he didn't even need words - his eyes did all the talking on the blonde man's behalf, his green gaze constantly finding itself roaming over the woman's body, regardless as to whether she realized it or not. "Or think about how I'm gonna have to shove a few guys off who'll try to dance with you this afternoon. Can't say I'm willing to share you with any guy, not tonight."

His breath caught in his throat as she forced him forward, feeling her against him as they pressed together tightly. Unfamiliar sensations - Cass went at a lightning pace while he was still trying to keep up in easy mode. Hand holding alone was a new adventure for him, so having someone as beautiful as she was pressing herself against him on a whim...

"I'll stay as close as you want me to, babe."

The words came out more strangled than he'd have cared for her to hear, but he had a feeling that she didn't mind the fact that she was clearly having an effect on him. She pulled away soon enough, giving him a brief moment of relief as they made their way further down the sidewalk.

He couldn't help but grin. "Gonna teach me how to dance, while you're at it?"

He'd never been in a club before.

Well, ones in real life, anyways. Various games had clubs featured in them but nothing compared to the sensation of feeling the ground practically shake around them at the intensity of the bass. Colors lit up the darkness as the door was opened, but Alrik's attention was more focused on the very large man staring him down.

"Tony" didn't seem to pay him much heed after Cass had vouched for him - clearly she was a regular, judging by the way the large building of a man casually stepped aside for the incredibly short, in comparison, woman who sashayed her way into the building.

He swallowed hard as he passed the bouncer, his Adam's apple bobbing as a result. But there wasn't enough time to dwell on what the heavyset man could do to him if he wanted - the music was drawing him in, along with the dainty hand of his date for the evening.

Words were on the tip of his tongue, but his voice was lost in the sound of the music. Automatically, his hand gripped tighter on hers, as if he was fearful of losing her among the crowd that swarmed around them.

He wasn't ready - but there was no pause button, not in this game.

He was being pulled and tugged, his senses in overdrive as the sounds and sensations surrounded him. The music was loud, the crowd was pushy and the smell of sweat and alcohol filled the air to the point where he could almost taste it. But there he was, finding himself being pulled forward onto the dance floor by a woman nearly half a foot shorter than him, whose confident insistence had his hands splayed over her hips in a matter of seconds.

As his head bent down to allow her arms to wrap around his neck, her whispered words sent a chill down his spine, her lips barely brushing against the shell of his ear. Follow her lead - he could do that, right, right. It was just like watching someone else play a game for the first time, with him mimicking the level afterwards.

There was no A or B to push, no barrel roll to offer. Just the sway of her hips as she began to dance in front of him, his hands and arms being forced along with the movement due to their attachment. He swayed with her, his own waist working to follow suit as his shoulders awkwardly attempted to fall in line with the rest of his body.

"Like this?" His words fought to be heard over the music and the roaring sound of voices in the crowd.

It would have been easy, in theory, to take on tips from other guys that were dancing their way around the club but Alrik's eyes couldn't tear themselves away from the talented Miss Bright who seemed to captivate his entire attention.

As she pushed back against him, the young man was forced to adjust his positioning, lest her rubbing and grinding prove to excite more than just his heart rate, out on the dance floor. The blonde was so focused on his footing that he hardly realized what she was doing, until her head reached up and her mouth drew near.

He froze in place as her lips brushed against his. Alrik had been expecting her to give him a tip or an order, to tell him what to do next in this crazy world she'd submerged him into. Receiving a kiss hadn't been expected and for a brief moment, he found himself panicked - eyes widening, hands stilling on her hips.

That moment passed quickly, however, instinct to respond driving him to kiss back, his eyes closing as his grip on her waist tightened. The music continued to thump and blast around them but Alrik Rey was deafened to anything but the beautiful woman in his arms, the green haired vixen that had stolen away his first kiss to add to her collection of first's.

Feet and body stilled as he returned the kiss, the tall boy ensnared by her lips and too distracted to bother continuing to dance.

She pulled away laughing, leaving him feeling like he'd just been hit by a truck. He stared after her, eyelids fluttering as his lips remained partially opened. Cass was teasing him, beckoning him closer as she pulled him deeper into the crowd.

Alrik took a moment to finally look around at his surroundings. The people around them didn't seem to pay any attention to the fact that they'd stopped to make-out (though Ali would have argued that one kiss was hardly making out), the music calling to them as well as they bounced up and down, grinding and pressing against one another.

Eyes returned to his date, falling on the silver ring that toyed along her bottom lip. He heard her tease, the implication being for him to keep dancing with her. It would have been easier to comply, had her mouth not reached up to find his again, her tongue invading his mouth with the tall boy doing very little to resist. He didn't know what he was doing, but it was far from resisting...

Hands managed to find her, wrapping around her waist as he gently swayed. They were off beat with the bass, but his tongue was too busy trying to figure out what it was doing in return to her prodding to bother matching with the speed of the song.

The challenge was issued, clear as day, but Alrik could only stare down at the beautiful woman in his arms and give her the most ???? look as she smirked up at him.

Step up his game? Step up? Hell - he was still trying to figure out the controls!

Never one to back down from a challenge, however, Alrik found himself using the waist he'd taken hold of to tug her forward. If she could set his rhythm right, he could surely keep in tune while letting her feet his body heat against hers. He grinned - it didn't matter that he didn't know what the hell he was doing. Simply trying to keep up with the lively Miss Bright was quickly turning into fun in itself.

"You talk pretty big for someone so short, y'know."
