☣It wasn't to long later that Mari had the watches dismantled and prepped for the new screens to be put in. "Sev! Could you bring the dragon ball in? It's time to program in the frequency and see if this all works." she called out the door, pushing away from the desk with her foot, causing her chair to roll across the room, and to the desk covered in spare parts. Once she filled her lap with a wide assortment of items she scooted herself back over to the desk with the screens and the computers, pulling up a program that was linked to her microphone and sonar. Fidgeting with the settings so she would be able to pick up the frequency emitted by the objects.

🛠 #7 sat and waited patiently for what seemed like a decent amount of time. Building a device to detect Dragon Balls probably would take a while to make from scratch. It was hard not getting up to see Mari's progress, but she refused to budge from her spot. Like some kind of watchdog, her eyes were fixed on the safe; despite the ball not actually able to move...right? Eventually, Mari would suddenly call for her to bring the ball and move on to the next step! Fetching the orb from its resting chamber, #7 brought it to her quickly, handing it out for her to take. While she did that, the redhead looked around the workshop, taking in the other things being worked on in here. "Wow..." she muttered under her breath.

☣ Mari smiled as #7 came into the room with the dragon ball. Moving a stack of books to sit in front of the microphone and sonar she took the ball. "Thank you, go ahead and pull up a chair, if there is crap on it there is space on the spare parts desk for it all to sit on." She said waving her hand as she placed the ball on top of the books, using pencils and tools to keep it from rolling away. "All we have to do is pick up on the correct frequency to lock it into the radars, and once we get that pin pointed the screens can be mounted into the devices." she stated as she pulled the mouse closer to her and popped open the programs to enable her to pick up the frequency of the dragon ball, as well as set it into the radar.

🛠 Handing off the magic artifact, #7 went to find a chair to sit in after she stopped her ogling. The closest seat was occupied by more books than a little, some on mechanical engineering and electrical wiring. "Oh! Thermodynamics! I read this one!" she remarked, taking the book off the top. She'd open it and give it a once over, recalling a few of the images she'd seen before. After placing it back in the tall stack, the entire tower would be moved to the spare parts table to free the chair. #7 propped it up beside Mari and she sat down to see her progress on the radar. She nodded her head, understanding the explanation she was given. "Is there...anything I can do to help?" she asked. Not to hold Mari up, but her curiosity was peaked and she really wanted to get hands on.

☣ "I found it a few weeks ago,
guess it never made it back to the book shelf." she said with a small laugh as #7 moved the stack of books before the other was next to her at the desk. "I need to get one of these two devices on the same frequency as the ball, and sometimes when I am working numbers blur together, so if you could help me match the number on the screen up here." she said pointing at one of the lower screens on the wall. The frequency of the ball will show up here and the frequencies for the radars will show up on the screens next to it. I dont need them both to line up, just one." she said with a shrug as she started the program, several numbers starting to fluctuate on the screen. "I will be able to control it to some extent with the mouse wheel, but I wont be able to control the exact percentile for both of them, so once I hit on one, we have to stop or we could spend hours trying to lock in the frequency."

🛠 Lining up the frequencies? That should be simple enough, perhaps even more so in the past. With her eyesight, spotting numbers would be simple enough and she could probably get them in line too. She just needed to time it accurately so Mari would stop it exactly when she said so. Her pupils moved frantically as she looked between the screens, reading each number that appeared. No it wasn't just her eyes, but her mind was also able to keep up with what she was seeing. And she could see a distinct pattern- one she could use to get her timing right. "....Now!" she'd blurt out and if Mari was quick on the draw, she would stop it just in time with the correct frequency. #7 would then look at the scientist, a small sheepish smile on her face. "H-How was that?"

☣ Mari was focused on moving the mouse wheel slowly so she would be able to stop when Sev told her to, and not over shoot it. She kept her eyes on the screens trying to help, but as she had said before the numbers started to blur together. Blinking a few times she looked down at the surface of her desk to give her eyes a break. Maybe it's my lack of sleep that does this to me... she thought, it was then that Sev told her to stop. Releasing the mouse and raising her hand as the female finished saying the word she looked at the screens and smiled as she saw that the diver's watch had been the one to sync. "WE DID IT!" she shrieked as she quickly typed into the computer to lock in the frequency on the watch/radar. Once everything was finalized she unplugged the device and put it onto her wrist. "With this thing we are sure to get the dragon balls now!" she said pressing one of the buttons to change the display to a regular digital watch face. "And easy to hide."
☣ It was then that a chill shot up Mari's spin causing her to look around the room. It was quiet the first time, but then she heard it clear as day. Ryuzu's voice was in her head. Or she was going bat s**t crazy, which was a more likely option "Ryuzu? ..... The hell are you doing in my head and how?" she thought back. Sure she was a fortune teller, but it was very rare that she got into contact with ghosts/dead. Her forte was future telling.

☣ Mari let her arms fall to her side as she sat back in her chair listening to Ryuzu talk. She was trying to wrap her head around what he had first mentioned but without more details it would only worsen her headache. Letting out a long breath as he asked how the planet was doing and how she was doing she looked up at the ceiling. "Well let's see, I am a crazed scientist shut in so I would have no clue how things are doing outside of the lab and the city. And when I was there...." She paused checking her watch. "Six or eight hours ago, it was standing so that seems good, we have a new roommate, I've been working on the dragon ball radar, currently I have one in my possession, and other than lack of sleep I am fine." She responded quickly in her mind, hoping Ryuzu would over look the fact that they had a new roommate and go for the information on the dragon ball.

"Wait wait wait WHAT?! New roommate?! Since when?!" Almost an immediate response when Ryuzu heard Mari said there was a new person. Since when did a new roommate come into the picture. He was about to go on the topic of the dragon ball but the roommate statement brought that topic to a pause. However, he was curious about her collecting the dragon balls. "The dragon balls as well? Are you attempting to wish me back?" ┓ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════╝

☣ "Uhhh I met her the other day in town and she's been super awesome, she used to go to my college. She helped me with the radar and locating the first dragon ball we found.
You'll like her! I already have a few room pods on order to give us more space, even that weird gravity room you had demanded." she stated. Then he asked if she was collecting the dragonballs to wish him back, why else would she risk her life for the stupid orbs."And no, I'm collecting them to wish for world peace, of course I'm trying to get myself killed to bring your a** back!!" she said first sarcastically before yelling in her own mind.

"And she is a hell of a lot better fighter than I am." she thought shooting Sev a glance, wondering if the woman even knew what was going on, or had an idea of what was going on in the cotton candy woman's head. "Anywho, I still need to find the other six dragon balls. We just completed the radar right when you called out to me."

He now has to wait even more. "Well I haven't been here that long so time must be going quick down there on Earth so I have no choice." Hearing that this new person is a lot stronger than Mari is didn't really make much of a statement since well...alot of people were stronger than her but he assumed it would be enough. Enough, to get his blood boiling at least a little bit. "Well good woman! This new resident has a purpose in staying now. I'll be training so I can scale how strong this person really is. ┓ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════╝
