 Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval CaptainCyrus listened carefully to Luka as she told the story of her parents. "I'm glad you like the Orange, but those people are pretty cruel. Being a captain myself, I always try to help those at sea. I'll tell you to watch out for a ship named the Revengeance. I heard that the crew on that ship has interest in rare sea creatures. " He explained, hoping both mermaids would be careful. "I'll tell ya, the world is a strange place, but it's not all bad. I loved my wife very much. But when we had Norah, she died during childbirth. May she rest with the stars." Cyrus said, hoping the best for both of their families.

 Miku and Luka Miku swims back to where Luka and Cyrus is. "I am back. I just got only fish and some seaweed. So sorry that is all that I have found. Umm what is that orange thing?""oh than’ you for the heads up. Oh Miku, your back. We are eating orange. Mr. Cyrus, if we go to the human world. We don’t know anyone there and that we don’t have families on land. So don’t know what to do after that."OOC:

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval Captain"It's alright, Miku- It'll tide us over for tonight. Since you found it, I'll let you have the first pick on what part of the fish to eat. Your girls need to keep your energy up after all." Cryus started, handing Miku an orange slice. "Try it. It's a fruit humans like to eat on land. It's pretty sweet, so maybe you'll like it." He added. As Luka spoke, he thought of an idea. "Well, since you're helping me out, perhaps I can return the favor. You girls can stay with me and I'll help track down the ship that took your parents. Captain's honor. " He replied, saluting after he did so.

Miku had also asked about referring to him as their father. They seemed a little old, but they had gone nearly half their lives without parents. "Well, whatever makes you comfortable. I'm 35 if that helps anything." He added. "Heading to France is a good idea. If you want we can take turns in the water so we won't get too tired." Cyrus suggested. He was an alright swimmer, and wanted to help in any way he can.

Miku and LukaThe girls starts to swim Luka gets on the board. So she can save her energy for when it is her turn to swim. "it is best for us to swim, because here have sharks. When I was trying to get food for you and my twin. I saw a few shark. And ummm I didn’t really want attract the sharks. So I had to leave quickly.""ugh sharks are so annoying. A sharks to date me once and I declined the shark."OOC:

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval CaptainCyrus scoots over a little so that there is some space for Luka to get on. He looked a bit concerned as Miku spoke of Sharks. "Sharks? Well, that's not good. I'm glad you got out of there safely then." Cryus said, fully understanding the risk Miku took to get the fish. Before they left, he placed any fish leftover from Miku's find into his bag to save for later. "Wait, You can speak to sharks, Luka?" He asked, chuckling slightly at the idea of a mermaid and a shark dating. He never knew sharks could have feelings towards mermaids. "Well, if we run into any sharks, I've been trained to deal with them. Let's hope it won't come to that." Cyrus said, still wondering what a shark would want with a mermaid. The undersea world was a pretty strange place after all.

Miku and LukaThe miku continue to swim in the ocean pushing the board. "dad, I try my best to stay safe all the time. Same thing with Luka.""oh yes father. I can understand them. Some sharks are so nice but some are so mean and want to eat anything if they are hungry. In the ocean world there are things that are different from what you are use to, father."OOC:

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval Captain"Well, that's a relief. I'd hate to see you both injured because of some sharks." Cryus replied, glad that the girls knew how dangerous the sea could be. It was strange at first to hear them refer to them as their dad or father, but he'd get used to it. "That's really neat, Luka. If we run into some nicer sharks, I'll let you do the talking and maybe they'll help us too." He suggested.
"That might be true. I've sailed the ocean for nearly 20 years, but the last time I met a mermaid was when I met my wife. Now that I remember it, she came to my ship when we met because she had a run-in with some mean sharks. Either way, I'll do my best to be just as careful as you both are." Cyrus replied.

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval CaptainCyrus was focusing towards the horizon for signs of anything. He looked back towards Luka with a lighthearted smile. "Again, let's just hope we don't come into contact with any sharks for now." He said with a slight chuckle. As much as he wanted to see something as neat as a mermaid and a shark having a discussion, the top priority for him right now was to make sure he, Mika, and Luka were safe.

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval CaptainCyrus couldn't help but chuckle at first. Well, speak of the devil. I guess with all that talk of sharks, we may have gotten their attention.." before Luka went underwater, Cyrus looked through his bag. He ended up finding the flashlight from earlier.. "Here Luka, take this flashlight. If you're in danger, press the button to turn it on and shine it at the surface so Miku and I can help you if we need to." He explained, showing her how the light worked.

Miku and LukaLuka goes underwater to see what Miku had felt, but it was only dolphins that was swimming in the oceans. It means that they are still far away from France. Luka comes up to the surface by her twin and her father. "so what was it? Twin was it a shark?""no twin and father. It is just only. Dolphins in the ocean swimming to look for food."OOC:

Captain Cyrus CaspianNaval CaptainCyrus breathed a sigh of relief, putting the flashlight away. In his panic, he had forgotten that the light probably wouldn't work under water anyways. "Thank goodness. That might not be such a bad sign." He replied. "I wouldn't expect you to be able to speak with dolphins as well, but maybe they could help us."
