a veiled appearanceThe veil he had been given long ago was on his mind, wondering just what it might do. It was a gift, after all, and surely not without purpose. It was why Jeremiah had draped it on upon arrival at Court (and the magic did, sometimes, like to involve veils so it was not so out of place; his outfit adapted accordingly and it looked as if a fair portion of his attire was also edged in lace). Were he fortunate, perhaps he would see Ezra. Catch sight of him and perhaps- Jeremiah did not know. He was still trying to work out the entire Father's mad at you. shibrogane shroud of the shriven in play (finally)

a veiled appearanceJeremiah did spot Ezra from one end of a long hallway. There was nothing different about him; he flickered, aflame, but his flesh was whole.

After awhile, Mr. B flew home and America sent out a text to those who might possibly be watching Ezra. there gore in this oneamerica & mr. bThis time, Mr. B sees something kind of terrifying. Peering in through the windows of Ezra's apartment--it's Sunday, he's home--he can see an abjectly un-flamey Ezra in the bathroom, thankfully not doing anything Private. Except how not-private can someone straight up trying to carve a burn off of their arm even be? It's excruciating to watch. Ezra's face is screwed up tight with pain and sometimes he stops to scrub at his face with his not-bloody forearm. He was talking to himself, but Mr. B really only understood the word stole.

indirect approach1. The CD seemed to melt into the water, which was terrifying. It bubbled a little and crinkled like plastic wrap. 2. They saw Ezra in the water. 3. This was strange because he didn't have any burns. 4. Scars, yes. 5. But not the kind from carving off burns either. 6. They looked surgical. Like something someone in a car crash might have. 7. He was sitting with his guitar, plucking out notes. 8. Then the burns started to bloom, and he looked up, pale eyes flooding with the red-tinged yellow of the Ezra they knew--
