"No, if you cover it up that defeats the point." he wined but gave her his arm anyways because he might have ******** up. He defiantly ******** up a bit.
He really needed to learn to think ahead a little here.
She was right if he accidentally dissipated he'd have to start over.
He grumbled to himself.

Joy did whatever basic first aid she could remember. It wouldn't heal the written wounds but at least wrapping his arm in cloth would help staunch the bleeding. "Consuelo de bobo here is that you didn't misspell anything."
Once she finished she took back her dagger and after she dismissed her weapon, she held out her arm. "Now bring out your arrow and write on my arm: Joy."
"What?" he gave her a confused look. "Why Joy? Are you sure you want me to? Its going to hurt like fighting a hunter hurt. Not like, love tap sparring hurt."
He did pull out an arrow as requested. They weren't exactly the sharpest things in the world, but it should be ok if he used the point. But carving up a friend was a little different from carving up himself.

The grim grin on Joy's face was truly her own. "It better ******** hurt more than a love tap." Joy had to make it clear she wasn't afraid of pain. So she reached out for Rayu's hand and guided the arrowhead's point to press against her skin.
"Alright. Scoot this way so you can read it when I'm done." He rearranged her so he was facing the way he wanted and then used the arrow to write while gripping her arm tightly. He wasn't going to stop once he started, it would defeat the point.
Besides he wasn't really hurting her. Just war style tattoos. Really. He did wrap it after, using a peice of his own cloths. "there now we match."
