She gave him a happy smile, and tentatively stood, hoping the pain from the earlier scrapes had passed. It was still there, but mostly faded. She could move, and walk, without wincing at the least. Annoying, but she'd cope. They'd heal fast enough, anyways. She looked around at the shops, and then noticed one that seemed to be a Household Supplies type place. She tilted her head, and studied it. "I think... They might have what's needed for cleaning my wall... What about you...?" She looked back at him, a hopeful smile on her face. She was actively focusing on the solution to her problem, and him, rather then where it came from or anything related. She had decided that for now, while in his company, she was going to try to follow in his steps, and not think too much about the negative stuff. If nothing else, it gave her a chance to enjoy his company.

His answer made her blush, and smiled. She'd no idea she'd been doing any compliment fishing, she just didn't see herself as that pretty, exciting, or interesting. "I am... very glad to hear that, and am happy to have your company for the evening." This was going to be a lovely evening, of that she was sure. "What kinds of places do you like? I want to make sure you enjoy it, you know. I... Am truly grateful for your help, both with my wall and with thinking about things that are much happier."

Tanita stumbled, just a little, as a rock under her foot caused a painful twinge, and she bumped into his outstretched hand. She blinked, looked startled at the contact, and glanced down, then smiled at him, realizing he was offering to help. "Ah... thank you. I think I can walk, but... If not... I appreciate that you are ready to help." She glanced, curiously now, to see who was taller, as it was their first time actually standing at the same time. Was he actually taller then her? She didn't count horns in this, and she was wearing flat shoes at the moment, so she would get a very accurate idea of their height comparison.

Not that she cared, truly, if he wasn't, she just was curious. Very tall men were nice to find, that was all.

She began walking towards the store, her expression thoughtful. "I do hope I don't end up having to paint over it, I hate the smell of paint. So hopefully they have something that WILL get black all the way off white." She shrugged, and signed. "If not, maybe I can hire some one to paint a design in ink over what's left, though I liked my clean wall."

She pondered his words, and grinned. "Well I hope you like fish, then, because I know a REALLY great sushi place, and I would love to share with you." She tilted her head, looking to see how he felt about sushi. She SUSPECTED fish would be ok, because don't people living on islands eat a lot of fish? She wasn't sure, but she felt she had heard that somewhere. She pulled out her phone, and texted her favorite sushi place, requesting a reservation for that evening.

She gave him a friendly and grateful smile. "It's been awhile since I went into the trees, due to my lack of wings." She gestured back, and sighed, then paused, remembering the image of the dragon on her wall. Now that was one thing she felt was a pity. It would be nice to have wings, she thought, and the ability to fly where she wanted. "So I have generally only gone up when visiting Liya. Still, it would be very nice to see the trees from a different perspective, and with a new companion who sees the world so clearly."

Her brows rose at his offer, not in rejection, but in surprise. He seemed to be a very talented fellow, between the ability to cheer her up, being able to paint, and just... Well maybe she was over thinking it but she found herself nodding. "That would be amazing, and incredibly kind of you. If cleaning it doesn't work, then I most certainly would like to take you up on that offer. I have plenty of black ink in my rooms." Her face went a little dark for a moment, as she considered that. "Indeed I wouldn't be surprised if the idiot who defaced my wall knew that, and used my supplies instead of bringing their own. After all, why not complete the vandalism with a little appropriation of other people's property?" She paused and then shook her head, refocusing on Meelo and her face rebrightening. "But eh. I can't do anything about it, as I have no clue who did it, so I might as well not worry for now. Instead, I will enjoy an afternoon in your kind company, and then a lovely meal with you." She gently looped her arm through his, since he held it out. If she stumbled, it would be ready... If not, well if anyone asked she was just making sure, since she'd tripped before. "Shall we go?"
