rayu faded into silence. he was focused on his work instead. He didn't realize fully how luck he was, but he did know Elaia was strong. The curse continued. This one had water damaged. He sighed and wrote it down. "Nope nothing extra. I'm missing a bunch of things myself." Missing: two platters two spoons. Broken 1 clock Water damage tapestries

There were no other boxes to inspect, which was a bit of a bummer as the other two had a bigger variety of things to open. Elaia was a little jealous but at least her job had been completed. There was a form she was supposed to go through, she realized and began to search for it.
It was located under a lid. She began to fill it out. "Terrterrterr, what's the date today?" She filled it out all the same, she could cross it off if she wasn't right after all.

"Oooooh, I'm missing one too! Maybe they ran off together, not liking the human world anymore because they were just serving platters and that sounds weird to have something called a serving platter. Right? Why do they have so many different names for plates?" She babbled on, signing her name in big bold letters (nearly putting a hole in the parchement).

Terr had finished his own set of boxes and showed Elaia what he'd put down. If that was wrong, at least they can be identified to be in the same batch to make filing the documents easier, right?
"Who wouldn't run off from the human world if they had their chance to live in the Dusk, am I correct?" Whether that was a legitimate question was up to his companion's guess, given his usual monotone.

"I'm missing a few too. Maybe someone came and just took the platters." he shrugged and then wrote down the inventory. Getting a glance at Terr's page made her realize that she hadn't filled it out correctly. At least it was an easy fix.

Elaia felt it could have been a legitimate question of course, "so very right," she could have easily elaborated until she noticed that Rayu was about to leave after turning in his paper.
At first she was going to say a farewell until she realized something, the small Guardian made a noise before finally shouting out, "Noooooo waaaait, I have presents!" Her paper out of her hand, she immediately went to a pocket from somewhere and pulled out a few little red shards. It probably would have been better to give these out at the Dusk but whatever, too late now. Shards in the store.

Terr's eyes made a rare show of emotion upon seeing the shards. "You really did it. You went and touched the crystal and got fragments of it." He made no motion to accept. He didn't know if he ought to, seeing as how he wussed out and didn't join in when the invitation was made. "What was it like?" he asked.

Rayu paused. Oh right presents! He had forgotten. "Oooo you really did go to it. I totally should have gone." oh well, too late now. He plucked up a couple bigger pieces. "Nice." he whistled. "Yeah what was it like?"

They were probably hoping for some really cool story, some amazing description about how the crystal had felt upon getting ever so close to it. Instead Elaia just scrunched up her nose, "A little disappointing. I was hoping someone was going to go all crazy from touching it but really nothing happened except a big piece falling off it." Which really should have been alarming.
"But I saw a Famine clanslady start to eat pieces, so I figured it was okay to pick some up!" She held them out again to the two males, there were plenty for them to take mulitples if they wanted.

Terr debated about it in his head but in the end, he took the present from his friend. "Thank you, Elaia. Perhaps I can make a choker out of this."
