"Good point, job hunting is always such a pain." He was unconcerned with her memory over that. Jobs changed constantly. And he never like to stick at one thing too long. He preferred moving around and trying new things.
"How about not broken?" ok that was just his bad luck but whatever. He fussed through a dishware set and sighed immensely fusterated to find more missing bits.

Snorting at his luck, Vania shook her head again, crossing her arms as she leaned against the wall.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were the one breaking what's inside the boxes," She razzed, voice lowered so that Adelaide wouldn't hear them.
There was no need for her to get upset and worried over a simple joke between the two of them.
"How many do you have left?"

"Just this last thing." he pulled it out and counted the silver ware only to fine a spoon and knife missing.
"I think I was cursed." he sighed. Bad luck. It happened. "I didn't break nothing." and while he wasn't entirely opposed to just taking things occasionally he didn't take from people giving him things. Bad for business. And when he took something it was nothing like this. Usually it was something that wouldn't be missed like a pen or some s**t. Or won in battle. This was plain ridiculous.
"Alright I'm done."

"Ah! Good!" Vania smiled, taking another piece of paper and beginning to fill it out for Adelaide.

Vania was puzzled over some of the questions, but she answered to the best of her ability. Like the date... what day was it? She wasn't entirely sure, so she just put today. Like a silly person would.
Oh well.
She was one of those, after all. There was certainly no denying it.
"Don't forget to fill out a form for yourself too, Rayu. You wouldn't want to have to do this again, would you?" She couldn't help but smile at him, meaning another joke for his ears alone. "It would be just your luck if she asked you to go through more, wouldn't it? Since there were so many broken things in those boxes."
Unable to help but laugh at the look on his face, Vania waved her hand as she handed over the note to Adelaide, receiving a soft 'thank you', and bowing in return to the person who owned the business.
"I'm just kidding! But I think I'm going to go look for another job at the moment. This was a nice break in things. I might look for something far more exciting now. Thank you, though, for keeping me company."
Bowing to him in respect, Vania took her leave, leaving him to finish up with his own boxes.

"No I would not!" he made a face, not like the idea at all. "Look it's better if I don't. There won't be a store left." he took the joking in good stride. It was pretty insane luck today. Maybe tomorrow would be better.
Rayu jotted down things on the sheet. It really displayed his terrible luck and he had to squeeze some of the missing items in. He checked his phone for the date and put down whatever it said. good enough.
"Oh you are going first, see you later then." he waved her off. He was done for the day. It was one of those days when you just went back to bed anyways.
