While she realizes what she said had upset Opal she nods her head before replying, "When I said that I didn't eat meat and why I didn't eat meat I didn't mean to sound like I didn't understand that others eat meat. I know that everyone likes and dislikes different things while everyone was raised differently so I didn't mean to upset you. I'm perfectly fine with other eating meat and sorry that I hadn't explain what I meant well enough so in the future I'll do to do better. Having heard how you were raised I can understand a bit more about you and hope that you understand that I don't always say the right thing, though, I'm also not easily scared off. We were getting along so well before that misunderstanding and I hope that we can continue to spend time together. I've never heard about the area beyond the surrounding mountains and I don't think I've ever heard about wolves, though, I've been so many places that I'm not sure." Amarante shrugs seeing as she has no idea what the others would think, though, she wounds why they would be scared seeing as she's young and she's not one bit scared of Opal after hearing where she came from and who raised her. Actually, she's rather interested in how the wolves took her in and took care of her so she replies, "If you don't mind I would enjoy spending much more time with you to get to know more about you and everything you learned from the wolves you lived with. Having never seen wolves I think it would be wonderful to get to know more about them so I can also learn more about you in the process. Seeing as there is no way that I could ever think that you or the wolves were monsters or cold blooded beast because of how you live or what you eat." Shaking her head a few times she tries to explain, "It doesn't matter how the others live because this is just one place out of who knows how many and I've been to a nice amount of those places. So I know that everyone is unique in their own way from how they talk, how they move, what they eat, what they drink, how they act, and where they live. Which means you should never feel like what you did in your past is wrong if it's how you were raised because it makes you who you are and that's who I want to become friends with." Sitting up Amarante moves a bit closer to Opal as she snuggles against her to show her that she isn't afraid of her or how where she came from. Now that she knows that much more about Opal she can hopefully avoid upsetting her in the future.Lady Angel Heart Sorry about the wait, though, wanted to make sure I was in a rping mood before I replied to this~!

Opal smiled, despite everything Amarante still wanted to be around her and get to know her, and that warmed her heart in ways she hadnt felt before. She quickly pulled the child in close, nuzzling her into a hug. "You are such a wonderful person...your kind and openminded and wonderful...thank you". Opal had never felt so close to someone before but at that moment she had formed a bond with the cub, if this is what it was like to have a friend then friendship is surely worth the effort. Noone had ever cared about her past or her feelings and she finally found someone to share with. She was eagar to show Amarante the snow and her cave, and the glowing lights that spread across the night sky. Even if none of this was new, it would be grand just to finally get to share the experiences with someone. Opal looked down and realized she may have been smothering the child a bit and let go. Oops. She looked at the cub, Amarante's fur now poofed out from static. Opal grinned embarrassed.
The sun had started to set behind them, a large dark shadow was being cast from the peach tree. All the noise from the market was quieting and it was peaceful.

After Opal released Amarante her fur became extra fluffy from the static and all the muscles had tightened in her body so before long she feel away from Opal. Once she gently landed on the grass her muscles relaxed, she stretched, and then she rolled over before getting up. Earlier when she had sat up the beautiful crystal that Opal had given her had rolled down her back so when she turns around she quickly finds it. Walking over Amarante carefully picks the crystal up then turns to sit next to Opal once again. While sitting down she wonders how she'll be able to carry it without dropping it so Amarante braids the crystal into the long fluff on her head. Then looking up at Opal she smiles, "Thank you, I think you are also wonderful because you didn't over react when I upset you. You also took the time to give me such a wonderful and thoughtful gift which also makes a beautiful accessory which I am very grateful to have. While you were squishing me a bit I must admit that it still felt rather comforting while the static from the hug makes my fur look interesting." Amarante moves close enough to Opal so she can nuzzle her while she looks around to see how lovely everything looks while it's getting dark. As well as listen to the sounds now that the market is quite which is wonderful because Amarante doesn't like crowds or being overwhelmed by too many sounds all at once.Lady Angel Heart I'm so sorry for the wait.

Opal smiled, resting her head softly against the young cub's. This was really nice. It had been awhile since she spent the night in the village, making mostly day trips, but this was clearly an exception to her usual routine. They sat there beneath the tree until the sunset orange started to fade from the sky. It was easy to lose track of the time since she hadn't gotten to talk to anyone this much before. It wasnt until stars began appearing that Opal decided it might be time seek shelter, as it were. "It's getting late." She said starring at up at the darkened sky. "I doubt you wanna be out wandering when its dark. It gets kind of ere when there's no one on the streets." Opal knew from experience how uneasy it is to wander the dimly lit village at night. Odd how a place so full of life could feel so empty and lifeless in different lightning. "I have a place I stay when I visit. Shes a nice lady, I'm sure she'd let you stay there too.".

The instant Opal softly rests her head upon her's Amarante realizes that she must be comfortable around her making her feel even more comfortable than normal. While she watches the sky changes colors she wonders what where they will stay tonight because she' sure they won't be making their way to Opal's home. The later it gets the more she thinks about where they might stay seeing as Opal comes here for a reason and that isn't the villagers. Which must mean there is someone else in this area that Opal visits and if they do say the night Amarante is sure that she will meet them. Though, for now she's perfectly content on sitting next to Opal seeing as she was never afraid of the dark and never will be. While she finds it rather comforting to have someone next to her as the sky darkens so much so that the stars can be seen. By the time Opal speaks it startles Amarante out of her thoughts so she looks up to her smiling brightly while listening to her and once she finishes Amarante replies, "It is getting late, I just I wouldn't want to wander around in the dark, and this place does look eerie with it being so dark and empty. With everyone liking and disliking different things I must admit that the eerie places I've been to haven't bothered me because I imagine the beauty hidden within." As she talked she had looked towards the stars in the sky imagining the wonderful things that could be hidden in eerie places as well as the not so wonderful. Knowing that there are creatures out there that would hurt others Amarante is smart enough to keep her distance from strangers until she gets to know them. Yet, with Opal she felt safe enough to walk right up to her and since then they've learned so much about each other. While turning her attention back to Opal she explains, "Knowing that you would never stay with someone that was unkind to you I trust that she is kind and generous so she'll probably let me stay the night." Trying to comfort Opal that everything is fine she smiles a certain way knowing that it wouldn't be bad if she did sleep outside because she's used to it by now. Of course, she can't honestly bring herself to believe that someone so kind and generous would allow her to sleep outside for any reason.

Opal grinned. "Well its settled then, follow me!". Opal lead Amarante through the empty streets. Weaving around corners until they reached Mag's house. The house was built like a wooden den with logs for steps and gaps in the walls to act as windows. Next to the home was a berry briar garden, full of fresh berries. Magnolia was the village elder, meaning she knew everything that had ever happened in the village. She is older Ulaya, her fur a smoky, eyes a warm brown, and a light blue gem upon her forehead. Opal poked her head thru the fabric over the door opening to find Mags enjoying some dinner.
The inside of the house was just as welcoming as the outside. There was cloth on the floor and bedding in the front corners. There were various potted plants and other items placed along pieces of wood on the walls, and a big round piece of wood in the middle of the room acting as a table. It was cozy. Opal gestured for Amarante to follow her inside. Mags smiled, as if she had been expecting them. "and who might this be Opal? Did you finally make a friend here?. Opal beamed. "A friend?" Opal looked to Amarante. "Yes, but from here? not exactly...she is not from the village, she just stopped here". Mag's nodded understandingly. It seems free spirits have a way of bumping into each other. "Well I would guess since its dark and your still here, that you came to ask if your friend can stay too?" Mags laughed softly. "You know I always enjoy the company, she can share your place if you wish". Opal looked to the bedding set up beneath the window. Her spot was pile of purple fabric ontop of a brown sac of rice, kept in place by some logs. There was plenty of room for two people but that would be up to Amarante.
Mags looked at the cub. "Might you have something to say child? You are awfully quiet. Opal almost seems talkitive next to you."

Knowing that each and every place looks different during the night compared to what it looks like during the day she often times tries to stay up just late enough to see what the place looks like during the night. Having spent the time with Opal she wasn't going to wander away just to find a place to spend for the night because she wants to spend with Opal and knows that once they get to Opal's home she'll have a place to spend the night. While they walk Amarante both looks around while paying attention to Opal because only Opal knows where she they are going so as they walk Amarante remains silent in case Opal says anything or changes direction. By the time they arrive at a wooden den she looks it over seeing as she's never seen any home like it and as she looks to the side she sees the berry garden before they enter the home. Once inside she looks around while carefully listening to both of them so she doesn't miss anything like if one of them says something to her and or asks her something that way she'll be able to reply and or answer them as soon as possible. By the time Opal looks at the bed set up for her Amarante walks over to get a better look at it with it's wonderful pile of purple fabric When she gets close enough the older Ulaya asks her a question she she turns while smiling at her before answering, "Yes, I would like to introduce myself, though, I didn't want to interrupt either of you so I decided to look around. I'm Amarante and I am grateful that I can spend the night in your home seeing as it's not often that I spend the night in a house of any kind. Most of the time if I haven't found someplace to sleep at night I'll sleep in caves, trees, anything that had an entrance and if I couldn't find a place that I could sleep in I would try to find something that I could sleep under in case it rained." Walking closer to Opal she snuggles against her while she wonders what it'll be like when she's at Opals home and where she'll sleep.

Opal's bed made for a suitable place to rest for the night. The pair agreed to set course for Opals den in the morning. Opal was pleased to have made a friend and Amarante seemed just happy to be there. They spent most of the night staying up and talking. Mags told stories of adventures from her youth, and Amarante politely listened before telling her own tales. Opal mostly wanted to talk about home, but in a sense, this was home. When the moon was high in the sky and the only sounds to be heard were the crickets, they finally turned in. Opal laid down at one end of her bed, leaving plenty of room for the cub. Though she made it a moot point when she curled up at her side instead. Opal might not know about much about the world but she knew one thing, she won't ever let anything happen to Amarante. Nuzzled softly into Opal's fur, the cub dozed off. Everything was peaceful, and soon they both fell asleep, dreaming of what would come next in their journey. (Finished-to be continued) Blue_Sparkle27 If this works for you then I can start up another later for when they finally arrive in the tundra
