"Or perhaps I can teach you more." Danika laughed softly, "After all if you teach me more about gathering then it would only be fair to assist you in something." The Alkidike smiled before glancing away again as if worried. Not that she minded anyone approaching them, but she was concerned about how limited her free time could be. What if she was needed right now? They hadn't even hit the water yet!

At the other Alkidike's words Danika felt her cheeks warming with a flush, "You're flattering me." She teased lightly, "But I appreciate it." She reached out a hand to the other Alkidike, "I just hope many more think like you Vermina. The elders tend to think that I should live among the blooms and that going to swim is a waste of my talents." She joked lightly, "Though I suppose it would be a shame if a mystic stayed away from those who needed her for too long, but surely some fresh air once in a while won't hurt? Or in this case some fresh water. Shall we?" Her hand waited for Vermina so that she could lead the water to her favorite swimming spot.

Danika smiled warmly, "If I considered any time with my Sisters a waste and not a blessing then I wouldn't be the mystic for my people. How could I not wish to spend time with you?" She teased lightly, "Though due to my studies and limited time it may be a quick lesson, but I'll do what I can."

"That is a rather fresh approach." Danika murmured thoughtfully at Vermina's explanation, "I will have to try to keep those words in mind." It was indeed hard for her to take many moments for herself as she was constantly pushing herself, as were others, to do her best and to learn quickly. If Aisha had allowed another mystic to be bloomed so early then surely there was a great purpose for her. It was such whispers that haunted Danika and made her terrified of disappointing those who looked up to her. But for now she had to allow herself a bit of relief as Mina had told her to do. If she was so worn then how could she shine for others?

That decided Danika laced her fingers with the other Alkidike's and led the way towards the small shallow pool of waters that connected to the greater isle separating the island from the rest of the world. Here the sunlight made the water shimmer and the cove was covered in trees, a perfect retreat for a young mystic wishing to spend some alone time with a new friend.

Danika smiled as the other Alkidike squeezed her hand. She was always happy to spend time with a Sister and for the young mystic spending time with someone closer to her age was also a blessing, "Come. Let me teach you how to swim." She smiled warmly before tugging Vermina after her and towards the water.
