That brief moment of silence was enough for Pyrrha. It didn't really matter what Pruu said after that because for that second, no matter how brief, her twin had thought about it. Considered it.
She pivoted on her heel and turned around so that she was walking forward once more. The two had come to a point in the path where it forked; one end going, in a longer loop, back to Zinris and it's training grounds. The other, where Pyrrha herself was already leaning, led out toward the coast.
"Then my brain must be so swollen that I've never noticed the pain." She smiled. "Last chance, Pruu. If you follow me after this I'm going to have to insist on you smiling and trying to enjoy yourself."

"Indeed. It is everyone else who feels it," she said with a sigh. As the ultimatum was turned her way.. her eyes narrowed and she turned her head away. After a moment, she shook her head roughly. "I enjoy myself just fine at training, and it is more beneficial than staring out at the ocean." She turned resolutely toward the path back to town, lips pressed. "You could always come to training with me, and then we can spend time at the beach later." Despite the offer, she figured that she already knew what the answer would be. "..Is there any way I could get you to join me?"

"I see much more than the ocean." Even when she wasn't dabbling in some of her special herbs, Pyrrha could see much more than a cursory glance around the water. She noticed the little crabs in the sand; how their claws were asymmetrical and what creatures they took as their prey. Really, how could she not enjoy herself when there was so much to learn?
Still, Pruu seemed adamant to have things her way. As much as Pyrrha wanted to deny her twin, she knew that if either of them were to bend to keep what little bond they had it would have to be her. "If you can convince elder Una to let me watch her twins, then I'll go with you to training."

Having expected one particular response, the request caught Pruu by surprise. rather flabbergasted, she turned to stare at her sister. Elder Una's twins? Was Pyrrha mad? The woman hardly ever let those two younglings out of her sight!
As quickly as the shock came, it was replaced by a softness that made the fighter more clearly Pyrrha's sister. Rearing and guiding the youths of the community was central to survival. Pyrrha might have some odd ideas, but Pruu could not see the twins coming into harm's way under her watch. Besides.. any softness that Pyrrha might impress upon the younglings, elder Una would make quick work of hardening up again. "If that is what you wish," she replied, shaking her head incredulously while pushing a hand through her hair. "By the time I get elder Una around the the idea, the day will be late. ..If I can accomplish this, I will look forward to training with you tomorrow."

Pyrrha's grin was blinding. It stretched from ear to ear, as sure and proud of herself as anyone who had caught their prey in a trap. She knew about the elder's struggles to get a bloom of her own on the mainland, and how elated she had been to get two from Elzira. Getting permission to watch them, without the hovering mother around, would be hard, if not impossible.
"I'll be on my way, then, but I'll make sure to be back home this evening to hear the results." She had her doubts as to whether her sister would be able to accomplish the task or not, but either way, there would be no training today. Pyrrha had managed to steal just a bit of time for herself.
"Good luck to you, Pruu."
Dipping in a quick, little bow she turned on her heel and headed off to the coast.
