Yunan actually had to smirk at the other hybrids optimism. Seemed like nothing he did would get under the other apprentice's skin. Not that it meant that he liked the stranger but just that perhaps he was a bit more tolerable than others. Yunan owed him that much for helping him through this situation.

At the healing comments the boy just chucked weakly, "Something like that. If you'll just help me up the shore towards the north I would appreciate it. I can take care of myself at home." Fortunately none of his family would be there and he could recover in secret. That way no one would know about this unfortunate event.

Yunan nodded, "I'm certain." Leaning against the other boy Yunan began to hobble along. Each step was agony but the hybrid kept his head held high. He wasn't one to falter to pain after all. At the offers of the other boy Yunan shook his head once more, "I'll have that at home. I just need to get there and rest. So don't worry."
