Saraf seemed to consider her question before he said, "A tempting proposition but I can't say I have an engagement ring on me. Next time, perhaps?" He said it in as serious a tone as he could muster before he gave a bit of a chuckle. It was something that he just couldn't resist since it seemed as though they were back to teasing one another once more. At the mention of marriage interviews being 'formal and unwelcome' as well as her not understanding their mothers he said, "Oh, that one is easy. My mother seems more eager for the grandchildren that would come from such a marriage then anything." "Hmm." Looking down at his training roughened hands, flexed them, and he seemed to consider her words before he finally said, "I will do my best not to accidentally breaking things... though no promises." How embarrassing would that be? To accidentally crush a tea cup in his hands... something he'd have to be extremely careful about not doing. "You've never...? Well, I suppose that makes sense. It doesn't seem like something that would be a hobby for a lady." He murmured, before he added, "Whatever you do if we meet with the others don't take anything from Vanna. That woman could drink a Gerru under the table so I can only imagine exactly what is her mug." The last thing he wanted was for Vanna to share some of her version of booze with Arima because the Matorian woman would end up smashed in no time flat. Here was to hoping if and when they went out to such a place that it was just the two of them, not Vanna or any other members of the Outcast Unit. At least for the first go at such an outing that was. Following Arima's lead he found himself moving out of the more fancy area that they'd been in and toward a much nicer, scenic place instead. After she pointed it out he said, "Alright, we can go and hang out there for a while. Can't say that I know a lot about tea so if you wanted to order I wouldn't mind." He'd see about paying for everything so long as Arima took charge of actually deciding what they wanted to drink.

Arima felt her whole face burn brilliantly at his words, "Sa-Saraf...you shouldn't joke like that!" She squeaked before turning her gaze quickly away, "Obviously it's supposed to be a surprise when it happens..." She tried to recover with a tease of her own before dropping her head sheepishly. So perhaps he won this round since she was completely caught off guard by his reply to her own teasing. Though her flush only deepened at the thought of grandchildren, "Ah, I see...babies...that means....oh my." The Matori whistled and glanced up towards the sky, "Would she be acceptable of a Matori then? I know my mother claims me as a daughter, but obviously I'm not....Oban."
Shaking her head Arima tried to calm down her racing heart, "As it is I think my mother is simply worried for me because of such a thing. She's old so the times before war still weigh on her heart and she's wary that Oba won't be so kind to a strange Matori even now after years of peace." The girl forced a small smile, "It's a silly thing to worry about though, right? I mean...I think I've been okay for the most part...minus some tavern brawls and a sandstorm or two that is..." She whispered the last part ever so innocently before stepping over a loose rock.
"Don't worry." Arima's gaze was gentle as she glanced towards Saraf, "I believe in you and if not what is a broken cup?" The Matori shrugged, "I may look like one of those fancy ladies right now, but don't forget I was a healer for your unit. I've seen worse breaks on a person than a teacup." She smiled, "So far you haven't broken me so I think you're fine though~ In fact you've protected me even." Arima studied him thoughtfully. They had some rough spots in the past, but honestly Saraf had been more of a guard to her than anyone else in her life. And she liked his rough hands, it made her feel far safer than any delicate noble's fingers.
Arima chuckled, "As much as I imagined doing it I was kept at home before leaving for the unit and by then I was too busy working to drink with anyone." The Matori nodded at his advice, "Nothing from Vanna...noted. Though...I'm surprised~ One would think that you would perhaps want to see what I could be like when tipsy." She teased with a small wink before they headed towards the tea house. As she led the way the woman let go of Saraf's arm and spoke with some Oban merchants who helped her and Saraf back towards the sitting area. Out here they were on a veranda that had an ornate railing that twisted into shapes and kept onlookers from tumbling from the edge that overlooked the city. Since it was getting later in the afternoon the sun was shining over the entire city lighting it up and making the sands and the oasis glisten, "You should see the sunsets here...they're gorgeous." Commented Arima before sitting at a table, "Come sit. I ordered some flower tea and some snacks that we can share."

Saraf gave what sounded like a sound of deep contemplation before he said, "I will be sure to keep that in mind. That you want it to be a surprise." It was half teasing, but tempting... What sort of reaction would she have to such a thing? Would she freak out? Faint? Flee? Thinking on it made it only that much more of a temptation to actually get her a ring... and if she said yes? He had to admit the idea wasn't one that he didn't like the sound of. She'd probably think it all an elaborate joke now though, huh? Even if he were to try proposing seriously. Giving a wave of one hand he said, "My mother is the one that was all for raising a pair of Shifters as her own back in the day. I don't think she'd mind if I brought home a Matorian wife... though I fear she'd probably start asking you straight away when we were planning on having kids." His mother had been hassling him about grandchildren for ages he thought to himself before asking, "Surely you're mother must be the same? Always asking about such things?" Was that just his mother or was that all mothers that thought in such a fashion? A part of him wanted to say that it was all of them but he couldn't' say he'd met that many of them in his life time. At Arima's mention of her mother's worries for her, as well as mention of their unit he said with a bit of a smile, "Hmm... well, either way she wouldn't really have to worry. I mean you'd have the backing of our entire unit if you stick around. Not like anyone really wants to get in a tussle with all us weirdos." Alright he could think of a few select other units... but those were made up of all the jerk bags from the upper crust that thought themselves better then everyone. Thinking they were better then the thugs in Saraf's unit was a given. Not like they'd be caught dead drinking in the same bars that the Outcast Unit went to though since they weren't really the finer establishments. "Well... tipsy might be an interesting state to see you in. But passed on with your face on the table is quite another. Vanna has drank many newbies in such a state and I would hate to see you like that... though I suppose if you end up that way I'd have mercy and carry you somewhere safe and quiet to sleep it off." Best to reassure her that he wouldn't just leave her sleeping face down on a table... or under a table, whatever the case may be. He wasn't so mean as all of that. As she moved away from him, off to order tea from the far more fancily dressed staff Saraf had a chance to take in the area around him. It was rather nice, wasn't it? The sort of place that his mother would go instead of Saraf himself. The view was a nice one for sure. He supposed that it wasn't such a bad place even if it was most certainly not the one that he'd pick for himself on any random day. Going with Arima made it all more tolerable and the fact that they could see a nice sunset was interesting as well. Something he was told as Arima returned. Moving to sit down at the table she picked he said, "It might take a little time but if you want to wait on the sunset I suppose we could." They were in a nicer neighborhood after all so they shouldn't have to worry about pickpockets or other petty criminals while enjoying the view at least.

"Saaaraaaaf." His name left her lips in a flustered groan, "Stop teasing me like that." She glanced away as her cheeks burned even darker. At this rate she would melt into the floor and he would just be dating a puddle! Come on Arima what happened to your teasing? Oh how quickly the tables could turn with this man! At the thought she shot an accusing look at him before her gaze widened in surprise at his comment, "She did? Then perhaps there is a reason my mother enjoys her company. I'm glad to hear it, though strange to think of you having shifter brothers." The Matori smiled faintly before the comment of babies made her laugh, "Oh! She seems quite determined then!"
Did her mother want babies from her? The Matori tilted her head thoughtfully, "I honestly don't know. My mother probably would think it's too dangerous and would be stressing herself with worry for me." She joked quietly, "But at the same time I do know she wants me to be with someone and have a family one day though she's not so pressing on babies....perhaps it's a quiet desire...." Her own cheeks were flushing again as she realized that she was rambling on about having children! Children with Saraf would mean that they...and doing that....would mean a lot of activities that made the woman's heart race. I don't know if I can do this since just thinking about things....oh my. She twisted a curl of hair nervously in her fingers, "Regardless of our mothers it should be our decision, no? I mean....how do you feel about children?" She bit her bottom lip sheepishly, "Do you want....children.....I mean.....I didn't think about that.....and our relationship is just starting so I......and the things to get there....and just.....it's a lot." The last sentence was very scattered and each word was more like a whisper under her breath as her embarrassment brought her shyness back.
As they pressed on she tried to shove those ideas to the side so that she could calm her racing heart, "That is true, isn't it? Though I wouldn't call you all weirdos...more like a family to me." She admitted lightly before shaking her head, "I'm glad you would carry me back to sleep it off. Be careful though I may be a bit more than you can handle when drunk~" She found herself teasing though the thought of babies once more had her cheeks warming up, "I mean...I could be feisty and a fighter and start another brawl on my own again~ Nothing else, nothing related to doing other things nope~!" Ugh, all this talk of children and she could not keep her imagination contained. Though the devilish part of her did wonder exactly what would happen if she was alone in a room with Saraf again...with or without the drink to aid her in becoming bolder. Oh gods...am I secret pervert? The Matori quickly shoved the images from her mind.
At least they were finally ordering tea and she had the chance to collect herself. Focus on tea and casual conversation and stop thinking about other things! Still she found herself blinking at his suggestion, "If you would like that then...I suppose it would be nice." She smiled faintly, "Not too gooshy or romantic for you though?" As the tea was served the girl watched as the balls of herbs began to unfurl in the steaming water, "This is my favorite part...once they completely unfurl I'll serve us then."

Saraf opened his mouth for a moment, seemed to consider his words, before closing it again. There was that part of him that was about to balk at the idea of having Shifter brothers given the way that it had all ended but he felt that Arima didn't need to know that. He'd brought it up to reassure her that his mother wasn't the sort to look down upon others because they weren't Oban. In fact that had been more of a thing that Saraf would do back in the day. Not something that he wanted to admit since he worried that it would cause the Matorian girl to turn on him. His present day self was a lot more... laid back. Something caused by him joining the Outcast Unit. His old self was kind of the one that Arima's mother seemed to be so against it would seem. It sort of made him glad that he'd grown up a bit. "I... ahh... to be honest it's not something I've thought too much about. I always thought that once I reached a particular goal that I'd had for myself when I was younger I would see about marrying, producing an heir, and doing all the things that important people are supposed to do." He seemed to be thinking on it for a moment. Nowadays it would be due to actually wanting children, wouldn't it? He hadn't gone after his goal to become a general of the army so he didn't feel that he was required to having a son to follow in his footsteps. He rather liked the idea of having children merely because he decided that he wanted to raise a child instead of having one out of a need for someone to follow in his footsteps. Giving a smile he said, "I'm sure that they'd be quite pleased to hear that, Arima. I think they felt a bit horrible about the joke they played on you. A bunch of them kept appearing before Captain Jinx to apologize in hopes it would bring you back." He was glad that it wasn't due to his actions or those of the others that had chased Arima off... not that the actual cause was a good one but still... "Perhaps a bit on the... 'gooshy' side but I think I might survive." He said with a bit of a chuckle, watching the tea for a moment, waiting for the herbs to do their thing so that the two of them could share their tea. After a span of time he said, "I can only imagine what the others would think if they saw us at the moment." The two of them hanging out here, sharing fancy tea, waiting for the sun to set. Here was to hoping that they weren't discovered or else their date of sorts would definitely be interrupted.

Arima was quiet as she studied Saraf. It had appeared as if he wanted to say something, but then had instead opted to skip whatever it was. A part of her wanted to jump in and ask, after all curiosity was a driving factor for the woman, but instead Arima opted to begin serving them tea, "The tea has bloomed." She commented with a small smile before pouring them each a cup.
The healer rose a brow at his confession, "A goal then..." She raised her cup in her hands and stared at the golden tea inside thoughtfully, "I suppose I'm fortunate then that you hadn't hit your goal yet or changed course. Else I may have never gotten a chance to impress the mighty Saraf since you would have married long ago for an heir~" Arima found herself teasing though her heart was in a knot. How differently would things have been in that case? So many things were different back in those days...if he had gotten to an important status then what of her? Would a Matori, especially one as strange as she, be seen as a possible candidate for marriage? Even with her mother's backing, especially if the war had never been won, Arima was still the race of those enslaved. The thought caused a shadow to cross over her features before she finally took a sip of tea. Why worry about such things? Obviously that was not what had happened and this was a new time with plenty of opportunities for all, regardless of who they were.
When Saraf told her about the Unit's reaction to her disappearance Arima found herself blinking in surprise, "Re-really? I'm..." Her voice almost broke before she quickly shook her head with a smile, "I'm thankful they think so nicely of me. I suppose after bandaging them all a few times I finally managed to make it in." She tapped her chin thoughtfully though after a pause, "Perhaps if I can return I should play it up a bit to get them back finally since the tables have turned..." She laughed quietly, "As crazy as it sounds I do miss it. Things were definitely more interesting out there."
Arima smiled at his response to the gooshy moment, "You think? I suppose it is a good thing for you then to have a medic at your disposal. If your heart begins to get too soft and your cheeks feel too warm at times just let me know~ Would be a shame to lose you now when we're finally.....together....drinking tea that is." Arima flushed at the realization that they were in a way together. Though she was still adjusting to the fact that Saraf did like her in turn the memory of the kiss during the sandstorm still flickered through her mind. Did that mean she could finally ask for those kisses he owed her now? As if she had the courage for that!
At his question the woman just shook her head in amusement before taking another sip of tea, "They would have to do a double-take and then wonder how we managed to snag each other long enough to sit here...perhaps be a bit jealous and then tell us that we should be at a tavern drinking the good stuff and not 'flower water'." Though the real term used by some would be 'flower piss' since that was their reaction to some of the herbal teas she gave the soldiers at times. Arima chuckled at the memory, "Maybe you're right - we should change, get our weapons, and go have a good tavern brawl. That would be more fitting for their idea of our dates, correct?" She teased lightly, "Regardless for everyone's dislike of tea I still enjoy it. I hope it's not too awful for you as well."

Saraf picked up the cup of tea that was poured for him in an extra careful manner, then gave a nod at her mention of them being fortunate that he hadn't chased his dream to be a General. If he'd done that she was right, he might have already been married with an heir, he would likely have never met her like this. It was a strange thing to think about but that was just the way that things had panned out. It seemed that the Gods and Goddesses above allowed him to end up here with her, something he should be grateful for. This was a chance at a relationship that wouldn't just be based around the idea of an heir and marrying for status only. There would be more to this. After blowing on the tea Saraf took a sip of it. It was different, but not bad. Something that he could definitely drink even if it wasn't something that he'd go out of his way to get for himself. After he lowered the cup once more he said, "If you come back I am sure that they would welcome you with open arms... though no promises that the pranks will stop completely. It seems that teasing one another is their main source of entertainment out there." Not too terribly much else to do after all, at least not when it came to think that were worth mentioning around the company they were surrounded by. "Hmmm, you'll save me if I end up with such symptoms? What exactly is the cure for such an ailment, Arima?" He found himself actually a touch curious what she'd prescribe for such a thing. He had a feeling that it might be interesting and definitely worth inquiring about. After another sip of his tea, which left him with less then half a cup left at this point, "How about we just enjoy our tea this time around and next time we can seek out brawls and booze?" While he had no idea how that might turn out it would be something he'd prefer to happen when he was around as opposed to Arima wandering off to such a plan on her own. Who knew what might happen then.

The Matori woman kept crossing her ankles out of nervousness. He was happy to be here, right? What if she wasn't worth it? A light flush decorated her cheeks as Arima shook her head against the thought. She just had to have more confidence! How much more did they have to go through together before she realized that? Maybe a few more sandstorms and definitely a brawl or two... She quipped silently to herself before raising the teacup to hide the spreading smile that crossed her features.
"So true, haha. Maybe they will think my disappearance is a prank of my own." She quipped back lightly in return, "Though I suppose that would mean that they are rubbing off on me." The healer smiled again as she swirled the tea in her cup. Her mother may be aghast at the hard edge that living with the soldiers had given Arima, along with some habits and a few new interesting words, but the woman was happy with that. It meant that she was finally living in the world instead of being locked up in some ivory tower. If it wasn't for being there as well she wouldn't be sitting across from this particular soldier...something that she was extremely grateful towards.
At his question Arima found her cheeks darkening once more, "Well...it wouldn't be exactly a medicine." She started as she thought about how to answer, "I suppose I would have to check your pulse and then make certain that your heart was still going strong....by perhaps making it race a bit?" Biting her bottom lip thoughtfully the girl glanced around to make certain that the area was clear of people. Thankfully the cafe recognized her and from habit had cleared the area, one perk of being from a wealthy family meant privacy could be easily attained. Not that I had planned on it... Taking a deep breath Arima set down her tea and slowly stood so that she could approach Saraf, "Right now for example...do you feel alright?" She teased lightly as her fingers reached out to gently touch his jaw, "I can take your pulse here and make sure that everything is in order." She smiled warmly, "Though I can't guarantee that I can stop your cheeks from flushing if I get too close."
As her fingers trailed down his jaw and onto his neck she waited a few seconds to check his pulse, "And once I check I may also need to listen to your heartbeat, but for that I may have to get even closer." She blinked at him ever so innocently as she stood there before him with her hand gently resting now along his collarbone. It was a bold move and one that definitely made the innocent Matori flush, but still she was determined. If there was a way to see where they were then this was it! Arima grinned faintly as she looked at Saraf, "Though there is the question of payment...I still think you never paid your full due from last time either. So how many kisses would that be now? Do I get interest added in as well?"
She tilted her head, "Obviously have to take care of those debts before we get into any other scuffles since I can't guarantee medical payment until the tab is cleared from last time." Despite her bold moves and teasing expression the healer's heart was racing on the inside. Oh spirits what was possessing her now to be so daring? But as she glanced at Saraf and into that familiar gaze the girl's heart knew that for this man being daring was totally worth it.

Saraf thought on it a moment before he nodded his head, "I could see that. If you come back now, especially at night when they aren't awake to notice, and just go back to work as normal they might think it was all just to mess with them. You know to get back at them for the flower thing?" He could see that going in a rather interesting direction... not to mention amusing as well for those who got to watch from the outside like himself and the Captain. Sitting up more upright as Arima talked about how her treatment wouldn't involve any medicine, "Is that so?" She came in closer to him and set about checking his pulse while describing in detail how she would go about things in the midst of doing them. After a short amount of time he started to get the feeling that maybe she was throwing down a gauntlet in challenge again. That really was what he liked about her, that she seemed to be so willing to take him on even now when she was dressed up in the clothing of a highborn lady. Giving a bit of a smile he watched her as she got closer and closer to him, continuing to poke at him through her exam. "Hm? You want more kisses do you?" Not just kisses but she wanted all of her interest added in as well leaving him in a rather deep debt of kisses which made him grin a bit. After a moment of thought he reached out, wrapped an arm around Arima, and dragged her forward into his lap, "I can start repaying you now if you like, Arima?"

Arima giggled, "Definitely sounds like an idea to keep in mind. I can only imagine their reactions..." Now that she had come home and her mother was stable again the girl was tempted to do just that. If the Captain was lenient then perhaps she could come home certain days of the month to spend time with her mother...still it was a thought for later. She still had a week or so to decide on things.
A smile crossed her features in turn before the girl let out an 'eep' at the sudden grab and change in position. Not that she was angry about it, rather Arima was delighted to find herself suddenly in Saraf's lap, "I suppose that means you're okay with this checkup." She teased lightly as she pressed an ear against his chest, "Seems like the heart is beating a bit more quickly than normal though..." She smiled as she glanced up at him, "I suppose it would be a shame if I let you stay indebted to me, right?" The healer blinked ever so innocently, "Though are you prepared to pay me? I charge high interest so I'm expecting a lot."
She shifted so that she was more comfortable on his lap before reaching an arm around his shoulders, "I mean we do have a bit of time before sunset soooo..." Arima smiled teasingly as she tilted her head and studied Saraf. Now that they were only a breath apart it was even hard for her heart to stay calm. In fact at this rate it may even fly out of her chest! Not that Arima minded - after all even her glimmering gaze was reflecting her happiness and enjoyment from this situation. It was also nice to realize exactly how much she had began caring for the man in front of her. A few months ago she would have never expected this, but now....well here they were.

Saraf gave a smile and a nod of his head, "I figured that maybe it would be easier for you to proceed this way." He murmured, giving her leeway to continue on with the check up that she was talking about. He supposed that if that was what she was so interested in then he could allow it. At the mention of his heart beating faster then normal he gave a nod, "That is understandable... I mean I do have you in my lap after all." Giving a bit of a chuckle as Arima asked if he was prepared to pay and that she was expecting a lot from him. He starred a moment then asked, "So... you're asking for a proposal again I take it? I'm sure if went to Captain Jinx he could have us married right away. He's got that sort of power." "I don't mind staying like this until the sun sets. We can just hang out here, enjoy our tea, and probably get a lot of people gasping and gossiping around us." Not that he seemed as though he really cared about any of that. He already got whispers for various reasons so why should he care? He just hoped that nobody hassled Arima about it or else he might have have to take care of them in a swift punch or two. Giving a smile he relaxed back in his seat, hugging Arima a bit closer, and said, "If anyone thinks to hassle you I will take care of it... or you can always use that magic of yours to dump some water on their heads. Ladies Choice."

Arima rose a playful brow, "I'm sure that's your real reasoning." She quipped lightly as she rested against his chest, "But I suppose this just means your heart is quite capable of working." It was relaxing really to listen to its rhythm. The girl tapped her fingers along with the beats before pulling away again in surprise at his next statement.
"Would you really want that?" She knew he had been teasing but the question slipped from her lips anyways in her surprise, "To be stuck with me?" She quickly added on to try and recover from the question that had slipped from her lips, "Sometimes I can be a lot of trouble as you well know~ Who knows what else I can get into and as my husband I can only imagine the scuffles you could get involved with." She smiled playfully, "I can only imagine what our mothers would say if we went straight to Captain Jinx as well~" They definitely would be expecting some quick babies then! Would her mother be mortified or delighted? Honestly Arima wouldn't even know what to guess in that situation. Just the idea of marrying Saraf and being with him was flustering her enough already. But it was a nice feeling....a warmth spread in her stomach just thinking about things and sitting there in his lap the woman could enjoy his warmth as she pressed her body up against his.
Arima laughed, "Let them. I think any gasp and gossip would be worth it to stay like this. They would just be jealous anyways - who else has such a handsome soldier to use as a chair?" She teased lightly, "It is rather quiet right now anyways so I doubt we'll have many people to gawk at us." At his suggestion another laugh escaped her lips, "I could use some practice on that water magic of mine. It's been pretty useful lately~" Even in spars the girl had gotten much better at casting. It was almost a shame to some of the soldiers that she had worked with since they saw her potential for being a sorcerer as great. But that wasn't of any importance to Arima. She simply wished to heal others and was happy doing that.
And right now she was even happier to be able to curl up on Saraf's lap and look over the horizon, "I suppose since it's quiet now we could pass some time while waiting on the sunset~" She commented shyly as she peeked up towards him with a flush. As teasing and daring as she was the girl still had her moments of shyness and felt flustered around the oban.

Saraf gave a humming sound, "Well... when you put it that way I wonder if I really would want to be stuck with you." He said in a teasing manner before he continued, "I won't say that you wouldn't surprise me with further antics... I can only imagine what else you might have in store for me that will go above and beyond sneaking off to taverns and rushing off into sand storms... it would be an adventure for sure." To put it very, very lightly he added to himself quietly. At the mention of their parents he couldn't help but to laugh as he said, "They might suspect that there is a reason behind the rush as opposed to just us deciding to elope." He could only imagine what his mother might say... likely asking about a due date. A thought that caused him to shake his head a bit to clear it away. Best not to think on that too much since it wasn't something they had to worry about. Relaxing a bit in his seat he gave a nod of his head. It seemed that since it was all quiet right now that they could just relax and enjoy themselves. They were waiting on the sunset and since there was nobody around they could enjoy this all on their own. Here was to hoping that it remained as such he thought to himself as he allowed both arms to wrap around Arima. They had some nice, free time, to themselves, in a romantic sort of place... they might as well enjoy it to its fullest. Once they headed back to work, provided Arima returned with him, it would return to there being a distinct lack of privacy once more.

Arima pouted at his teasing, "Saraaaaf." She turned her head away in a huff of protest, "Not funny." She murmured before glancing back at him with a small smile, "Can say it's definitely something to look forward to? Though I promise I will try to inform you if I ever go off in search of other mystical items in the desert." Not that she was planning on doing that again, but if there was some medicines that were ever needed....well what healer wouldn't do the best for her patients? Sandstorms or not she was determined to help anyone that she could.
Her cheeks flushing Arima could only laugh at the thought, "I can already imagine them making up nurseries and then fighting over which location would be ideal...." The Matori could only shake her head. Her having babies with Saraf? Not that the thought was disturbing...it was just funny that both mothers would probably be more excited than anything to hear that. It may be the thing to give my mother a piece of mind... Her gaze lowered as she snuggled against Saraf for comfort, "I wouldn't mind...you know. I don't need months to plan out a ceremony and it would make my mother feel better to see me settled." She flushed deeply, "That is if a certain Oban was seriously proposing to me, haha. I'm in no rush though~" The future was still wide open to them after all. Though honestly after being in the Outcast Unit together she felt that she knew Saraf better for that than any couple that had been dating or betrothed for years.
Resting her head against his shoulder Arima let out a content sigh, "This is nice." She whispered as she stared across the horizon. It was a rare moment to be completely alone like this and in such a setting and she was definitely going to enjoy every moment of it, "Hopefully it stays quiet since we have a lot of catching up to do~" She teased lightly as she glanced up at him with a sly smile. He owed her a few good kisses after all~

Saraf let his eyes close for a moment, seeming as though he were thinking on her words, "Alright, I will see what I can do then if you're not opposed to me being that Oban that's serious about proposing to you." He gave a bit of a chuckle. If she didn't want a ceremony that took months of work to get just so then he felt that he could probably figure that out as well. He'd be fine with just finding her a proper ring and having the Captain do the ceremony... but best to let her figure out what finer details she did want to be a part of it all. "I'm sure that Hatald has too much riding on the two of us enjoying so alone time to let anything interfere." He murmured, not too worried one way or the other. They could wait here for the sun or even enjoy the stars from their perch if that was what Arima wanted. For the time being Saraf was far more content then he'd been for some time so he was in no rush to move.
