Not only did the corrupt not seem to hear his warning, but they also decided to use their magic on the dark haired senshi.
Or attempt to use magic. Because nothing happened.
Whatever the magic was supposed to do, Sessrumnir wasn’t sure it happened. Which was good but also concerning. Was something supposed to be happening? Was there a delay in the effect?
Angry that corrupt could potentially put Remus in danger, and the others of course, Sessrumnir lunged forward, reaching out with one hand to try and grab hold of the other’s long braids, while his other fist pulled back to deliver a full bodied hook at the corrupt senshi’s head.
There was the chance that the other hadn’t heard him, but that no longer mattered. He could see Remus diving into the fight with the other two; a senshi and knight he was certain he’d seen before throughout the years he’d been a knight, but unable to recall their names. He’d never met Obsidian in person, but the vibrant red hair and uniform reminded him of the description his brother gave him a couple years ago about a General who attacked a civilian and ate their starseed, and then threatened to hunt down Valhalla’s family.
Well, whether or not this was the same guy, Sessrumnir wasn’t going to take that risk. If the others didn’t finish off the General, then he would.

The battle quickly went to s**t, Ochre noted, but at least the eternal shifted her attention without taking full note of his attack. He felt himself at a tactical advantage with both eternals and squire focusing on the general, leaving him to act as he willed - and the precious words allotted to him urged his speech. Yet unnamed, he let them roil and form on his tongue to surprise everyone present.
"Scylla's Hunger," he offered to the world. Wait, what? That sounds —
Oh, s**t. Oh s**t s**t s**t what even —
Ochre couldn't argue with the magic himself, and suddenly the quandry of the general and further incoming reinforcements fled his mind. He now faced down a thick, muscular tentacle that undulated wildly, its control resonating with a powerful need to feed that Ochre himself didn't fully understand. His magic only glimpsed him the barest ability to comprehend and cast the magic - any further control or usage escaped him entirely. Rock pieces skittered across the ground, another tentacle whipped into the air, the squire and general exchanged blows unrelentingly, and now he faced his own massive mistake in conjuring up a piece of creature that he couldn't control.
But Ochre only had seconds to scramble for a solution to his now-unruly friend. And before he managed a rudimentary grip on the flailing appendage's control, his head wrenched back of its own accord and he stumbled backward into a crushingly powerful punch. The sudden impact jolted through his skull, sending the senshi into undeniable pain. The earth swam, he lost his balance, and he fell to the ground not far from his flailing, ravenous rendition of Scylla's Hunger. "Ow, dammit…" His teeth hummed with the force of impact and his skull began to throb.
Shoot, uh, come on, come on, how do I control this thing? Thinking through headaches offered Ochre no edge; his nose bled in tandem with each pressing thought. Over and over the tentacle whipped and roiled about, thrashing toward the progenitor of its magic (Scylla), then toward the general (Obsidian), before peeling back around to thrash at his assailant (Sessrumnir). Soon, Ochre feared, it would turn on him.

Restless ire filled his days since the hospital tribulations left him high and dry. A day stayed over, a Negaverse operation confronted, and next to nothing came of it. Had they staged such a mess to extract energy and starseeds? To gather intelligence on the caught-unawares Order affiliates? He doubted as much - not with stray Negaverse agents mixed into the whole affair, and with youma attacking them with similar disregard for their station. No, the whole of it went offf like a hot mess, and the general at the helm loosed them for no ostensible reason. The taunting explanation given left Scholomance preoccupied with thoughts of a secondary, impending attack.
But he could stew on it no longer. If he wanted answers, he knew to seek them in the wreckage. Whether the hospital was treated as a crime scene or otherwise mattered not - for someone like him, retaining anonymity in tresspassing was a matter of donning Scholomance's attire and avoiding undue police interactions. He expected the need to hunt for stray papers left behind, orders scribbled hastily over glass or other clues as to the general's intentions, but as he crested one of the nearer intersections, a sense of an auric cluster cast away all thought of investigations. A battle was a foregone conclusion - auric energy projected by both parts of the war stood out keenly for their close proximity. He could not count their number from such a distance and did not aim to; Scholomance dropped traveling pretense into a dead run to meet with the battle itself.
And as he passed beyond the campus perimeter, cresting the oncology center, he started to recognize uniforms. I'll be shitting diamonds. These little chance meetings are getting to be a bit much. Scylla and Hy-Brasil squared off against their opposition, being two unknown redheads. With them stood and eternal and knight by look, along with two of Scylla's tentacles.
A glint caught his attention, and Scholomance recognized a keen broadsword in the general's hands. False teeth clenched and ground as he worked out uneasy involvement. Four on two was a favorable front for Order, but Order sucked more d**k than he did when it came to getting organized. Alongside that, no count of numbers completely safeguarded others from a broadsword's cutting blow. His magic might offer respite from such an attack if he could time his intervention correctly, but involving himself in the matter to any respect held harrowing potential.
Won't you give me a hand, Scholomance?
Forcing the thought aside, Scholomance descended from the chosen parapet and sprinted across the grounds to reach a cautious distance from the fight. The two tentacles proved deterrent enough for the moment, and both offered viable targets for the deadly blade in the crowd. A thought brought his bone whip to hand and he clutched it tightly, his three fingers ivory white beneath the glove.
"Scylla, Hy-Brasil. Don't get too cautious."

Oooh, this one had fight in her! Obsidian carefully watched her movements, weaving and ducking through her blows with some effort. "Good stance, chickadee." He crooned. "Maybe when you're a knight, we can have a real tussle. But--"
He stumbled as the ground suddenly shifted to something awful underneath his feet, hissing with pain as he tried to move his weight around and alleviate the discomfort. "Who the ******** are you, the Senshi of Legos?" He snapped at the other, and without hesitation, slammed his blade into the ground. A shockwave roared towards Remus, intending to knock him flat on his a**. Before he could see if the blow connected, however, another ******** tentacle slammed into his side, knocking the wind straight out of him. Ribs creaked, and he hardly would have been surprised to find out a few of them had cracked.
Obsidian grunted as he hit the ground, just in time to see another tentacle tried to smash into him and miss. It twisted and picked another target, leaving the general to wonder if the thing had gone mad. Well, no time to worry about it. He focused hard, his blade disappearing back into Negaspace just before he, himself, seemed to vanish.
Scylla succeeded in forcing him to teleport, but it had the unfortunate side effect of him materializing right behind her. "You wanna play, princess?" He growled in her ear. "Then we'll play." The arrival of the new knight was ignored as he sought to snatch her neck from behind, intending to choke the living daylights out of the Senshi of the Kraken.
This was turning out to be even more fun than he'd dreamed.

Remus felt a surge of vicious satisfaction that his magic had actually worked. It wasn't much, maybe, but it was something, and it had at least managed to take the General's attention off of the Squire, though she was fighting just as fiercely as the rest of them. There was a dark haired Eternal somewhere to Remus's side, and then Sessrumnir somewhere behind him, with the Corrupted, though Remus couldn't see him.
His arms were still outstretched, a look of savage pleasure on Remus's face, but it didn't last very long. Obsidian had wheeled around, and the crack of the shockwave from his sword sent him flying backwards, Remus letting out a sharp yelp as he crashed into the ground, arms scraping on the debris, head cracking against the ******** hurt like hell; Remus clambered to his feet, swearing violently, staggering a little as his head spinning dangerously. He stumbled forward, trying to shake it off, and ran towards where he'd last seen the general again, glancing around until he saw him, hands around the dark haired Eternal's neck.

Almost getting rolled over by a thrashing tentacle that she hadn't summoned was.... unexpected. Scylla paused, a look of consternation crossing her face before she turned to glance at the Corrupt. The tentacle was thrashing wildly, aimless- she was more impressed that the man had been able to keep it from attacking allies as well. But being impressed wasn't going to help in the fight; nor did she slyly drop a 'lay back and think of England' joke in his direction. (It had to be him- she knew for a fact she only had one tentacle out, and there were definitely two on the battlefield. It wasn't like Albali, though- was this a duplicate? A copy? A mirror?)
His distraction certainly did one thing, in conjunction with Scholomance arriving- Scylla was completely unprepared for Obsidian's teleport, for his growl in her ear, or the grab to her neck. "I love games," she gasped, and only got her hand up before his grip was on her neck. Not her whole arm up- not enough for leverage to force him away. Jada was shorter, considerably; she registered that as she struggled, trying to remember old lessons she'd gotten when she wanted to learn self-defense.
Her hand being up was a disadvantage- but it let her try and get her chin down. Keep him from crushing the throat. Maybe bite the s**t out of his arm? If she could get her hand out, now. Her control over her own magic failed- it required almost constant thought, after all. Constant thought of the Kraken's prey, and directing it to the tastiest options. Right now, it seemed that she was on Obsidian's menu. And not in the fun way, either.
0/10. "Don't- you know- you're supposed to- buy dinner- first?" And that crappy expired s**t he'd served at the hospital most certainly didn't count. Panic pumped her blood, sucked at her oxygen.
The other Order senshi was coming in to help, and Scylla did her last ditch idea to at least get one thing off the battlefield. She could cease her struggle, trust in her ally for just one moment. Just long enough to give one frantic, terrified command.
Feed on him. Even as she struggled, she thought of the corrupt, of the other tentacle, and thought of the hunger. Thought of simple, easy instructions. Catch him. Hurt him.
The Kraken swung at Ochre, while her teeth prepared to sink into Obsidian's arm.
The general was unkind. He employed his own brand of magic, sending a restless gust toward the eternal that casted upon him. And that shockwave struck true - the eternal was laid out on the concrete, while his magic continued to course underneath the general's feat. But he would not be stopped by magic alone; even with the spell underfoot, and Scylla's tentacle raving about nearby, he seized her promptly in a crushing grip. And even if her impromptu partner clamored to his feet and charged after her freedom, Scholomance expected that the general would not relinquish her so easily.
Targeting the general was a poor idea - doing so would invalidate the eternal's attacks. No, he needed to pluck Scylla from the fabric of that reality and give her the precious seconds to retreat.
The whip coiled and struck, splintering the ground for himself and Scylla. Pieces of the world arched up toward the sky, folding on themselves, lilting across pale twilight. Here, she would fade into a ghost's visage, free to slip from her captor for the handful of seconds that he intended to hold the cast. He was wary of holding for longer - and not simply for the burdensome weight that bore down on his bones. While he weathered the taxing, crushing effects of his magic, he chose such a short burst for Scylla's own abilities. Isolating her tentacle wasn't tactically smart.
The few secons passed and he lifted his spell, where the world reassembled promptly. No longer did street lights coast on the open air for Scylla or himself. The ground reformed, buildings raveled together, and the formerly ethereal appearances of the other attendants came unto themselves. Scholomance released a breath and rolled his whip gently.
He could kill any of them, but Hy-Brasil was the easiest target. What did he plan that had him neglecting the most straightforward murder here? Scholomance remained sidelined as he watched.

targeting scylla with magical magictimes
Knight: Magnum Mortum Duration: 30 second maximum magic pool Distance: Victims can be tagged up to 20 feet from Scholomance himself Number affected: Up to 6 'tagged' based on line of sight Extra: Magic 'tethers' at 30 feet from Scholomance barring sight interruption Description: Scholomance summons a death knell that will immediately affect 'tagged' characters (anyone focused on by Scholomance within line of sight). Any targeted character will have their corporeal form turned into a ghastly spirit-form, and will find that any attack or attempt made toward corporeal bodies will only pass through their form. In trade, corporeal characters will be unable to strike or harm those who are rendered as spirits. Spirits will see the world around them as an inverted, crumbling version of their current location. Corporeal characters will look to them as blots of energy rather than people. Spirits can still attack each other, and both corporeal and incorporeal characters can attack Scholomance, as he is the link between the illusory otherworld and the real world. Breaking his concentration will end the attack prematurely.
During channeling, Scholomance's magic actively damages him as tradeoff. Effects start at full body ache and exhaustion and can lead up to immediate collapse or beyond, depending on circumstances. He is also completely immobile while casting and cannot attack any targets.

Punch for punch he managed to dodge. Even her attempt at feinting failed to land the blow. It was becoming obvious to her how much of a difference in strength was between her and Obsidian and that she'd have to come up with more clever ways to assault him. Letting her body continue with the flow of the fight she was preparing to step forward and drop to the ground and attempt to kick the General's legs out form under him when the earth erupted just in front of her, directly under the General. She nearly toppled forward in her attempt to stop her motion, but succeeded in holding her ground.
"s**t." She cursed softly, eyes lifting up to see who had cast that magic, noting the senshi (Remus) not far off. She gave him a smile in thanks that was likely missed amongst the battle. Especially considering the General had turned his attention to the other.
A voice saying her name caught her attention momentarily and Hy-Brasil mentally groaned. Perfect. Scholomance had also made an appearance. Now she had him and his current (Maybe past now, who knew with him), girl toy and nope. Focus, Hy.
With the General having departed in pursuit of another target, Scylla, the squire was ready to go to the woman's aid when Scylla's form seemed to turn ghostly. Scholomance. Well, if there was one perk to him being here it was the fact that everyone here could trust him to have their backs throughout the fight. That was one thing she knew for certain.
With Scylla being taken care of and the General was being attacked by senshi (Remus). It had been a toss up on who she would attack until she noted one of the tentacle s(the one not moving around rogue) seemed to be bearing down on the Corrupt and Hy had no interest in possibly getting between the tentacle and it's prey. So, the squire decided to take advantage of her lack of a target to instead aid one of her comrades.
Eyes settled upon the senshi who had helped her, Hy channeled her magic towards him and saw the mist rise from the ground around his feet and travel up his body as her healing magic began it's work on him. She had seen him crack his head on the ground and imagined that and that attack from Obsidian had done a number on him. Her own nose and head was aching from his initial attack on her, blood still smeared on the lower portion of her face.

It was difficult for him to focus on the corrupt senshi in front of him, and not try to watch every move Remus made. They both knew he tended to be overprotective, but it wasn’t as though he didn’t trust Remus and his abilities. He knew Remus had strong magic and could hold his own. He had enough energy and speed to get out of the way of attacks (most of the time), so he just had to keep focused on the corrupt in front of him.
The punch landed and knocked the corrupt right to the ground. His heart was pounding from the danger of it all, but he knew that if he just kept this corrupt eternal occupied, it would give the others a better chance to finish off the General.
“Like I said before; leave while you still can,” he growled, reaching out to try and grab another fist full of hair -
But one of those tentacle things came rolling his way. Sharp teeth dug into his leg for a few moments before he was able to shake it off and jump back, hissing and cursing in pain. He didn't think the wounds were that deep, but they still stung, and his pants were torn and bloody.
He could hear the shouts from the General, felt the shake of the ground as the shock wave emitted. It took everything he had not to abandon keeping the corrupt senshi occupied and run over to see if his fiance was hurt when he was knocked backwards, but thankfully Remus got up relatively quickly.
And went to attack the General.
Which was fine, really, because he was trying to help the other senshi. And there was another knight that showed up, the man named Scholomance if he remembered correctly, having been told by both of his brothers. Good, they could use all the help they could get.
And another tentacle was rolling his and the corrupt’s way and he’d just about had it with this nonsense. He grit his teeth together, his hand dropping to his belt where the wolf’s fang was attached.
The large spectral wolf spiraled out of the fang and around him before standing beside him, practically his own height in size. Sessrumnir knew he couldn’t risk having her attack the General with the two dark haired eternals there, Remus included, so he did the next best thing.
He waited to see if the tentacle would make contact with the corrupt or not, before lifting a hand to brush at the wolf’s ghostly fur, urging her forward. There was a snarl as she bared down on the red headed corrupt, letting out a powerful howl with enough wind power to knock a grown man off his feet.

Scylla's tentacle arced toward Ochre, meeting with his own tentacle before the magic faded out. He released the cast for how it drained him, though he retained energy enough to squeeze off one eternal cast should he - they - need it. With so many Order now in the area, Ochre expected it as an eventuality.
But his protection was now gone - the tentacle provided a suitable guardian to keep the knight off of him, and Obsidian sported too much company to spare a helping hand now and again. Ochre was on his own, against someone of his level, for possibly the first time ever since reaching Eternal status. He needed to prove he could handle himself, especially if he wanted to go full bitchmode on Obsidian once this stupid affair ended.
And find his keys. He couldn't forget his keys.
But he had to forget his keys that moment, because before he pulled himself fully to his feet the knight pulled a massive dog from out of the ether. And it looked stocky in the way that most wolves didn't - like its limbs were somehow reinforced with extra bone. Ochre winced, half-expecting a pounce, and brought his hands up to guard his face. Instead, a piercing howl sent a gust in his direction that bowled him over. Ochre sprawled out on his a** from the force of the blast. Damn. I can't really afford to pull extra punches here, not after that tentacle thing. But that wolf is magic - it has to be. If I can kite it around then it has to disappear eventually, right?
Fumbling around, Ochre rolled to his aching feet and located a rock among some of the errant debris. It wasn't big, but if he threw it hard enough, then the overgrown dog might take notice. After spinning back toward the offending knight, Ochre hucked the rock at the dog and hoped for a hit. "How about you put that away?"
It was time to play Ring Around the General, especially since he wanted access to those other senshi attacks.

A thrill raced through his entire being as his knuckles turned white from the force of how he was squeezing that slender throat, well aware of the hand she'd managed to use to just barely shield her windpipe. Not as dumb as a typical senshi, then. Not like the one bull-rushing him to kick him in the goddamn ankle. Obsidian's weight buckled violently, threatening to bring Scylla down with him, and the General staggered painfully to the side to try and stay upright.
"Settle down, fluffy," He snarled at Remus, "I'm getting to you--" And teeth threatened to chomp down on his skin, distracting him just enough to realize that the woman in his hands had vanished from this plane of existence. Oh, Scylla was still there--but intangible somehow, unable to be touched. His teeth threatened to crack from how hard he grit his teeth with irritation, his head snapping around briefly to eye Scholomance.
"Alright," Obsidian breathed, pausing to wipe the dirt and sweat off of his brow. Not getting to strangle the absolute hell out of Scylla was a lot more upsetting than it really should have been. But you know, he hadn't been around this long to just give up when things got disappointing.
Nah. When things got disappointing, Obsidian knew how to improvise. He extended his right hand quickly, summoning his blade back from Negaspace. He spun on his heel, twisting his head back to set his sights on his true target. In an instant, he was utilizing all the speed and strength that being a Negaverse general afforded him, thrusting the blade out so hard that it cleanly impaled his enemy.
With a grunt of effort, Obsidian lifted Remus high into the air, the senshi stabbed right through the middle. He steadfastly ignored the blood that was dripping onto his face, save for his tongue darting out briefly to catch a taste. "Easy does it," He breathed, his shoulders taut with the effort of supporting the weight of the young man impaled above him. Green eyes flickered to his left, assessing and weighing the distance between himself and yet another opponent.
Better idea.
His muscles were screaming from the effort he was exerting, but Obsidian shoved down his body's warnings and dismissed them, forcing himself--and his blade's new fleshy accessory--to teleport behind his next victim. He staggered upon re-entry, swinging his blade down and forward in another massive thrust.
If he timed it right, Hy-Brasil would feel that unnatural steel bite through her own back, stained crimson with their mingled blood as the blade's tip burst through her abdomen. Obsidian lunged forward with another grunt, leaving the senshi and squire pressed back-to-back on his weapon.
"Looks like you've got each other's backs," He rasped, his shoulders trembling with exhaustion and barely suppressed laughter. "Kinda poetic, really."

He could hear, rather than see, Sessrumnir's shout that indicated he'd released his wolf - and another deafening, spine chilling howl that rocked through the air, barely missing inflicting it on Remus himself as he skidded on the hospital floor. He'd managed to land a kick on Obsidian's leg, then felt a strange, warm, curling sensation around his body; a foggy sort of steam that wafted in the air, and while Remus had no idea what it was, he could feel it working through him, shivering through his veins, calming some of the ache from his earlier unceremonious landing.
It took Remus a second to realize who had cast the magic - the redheaded Squire was a short distance away, a red streak across her cheek that he realized a second later was blood. Remus gave her a grateful nod and a thumbs up, but it was all he could manage at the moment - Obsidian's snarling voice was too close and Remus hastily jumped backwards, teeth narrowly missing his face.
The woman - the dark haired senshi had disappeared from Obsidian's grasp. Remus caught sight of another knight in bones and blue not too far off, and then of Sessrumnir, still fighting that stubborn, redheaded corrupt, and -
He'd hesitated a fraction of a second too long.
The sword went straight through Remus.
Everything slowed abruptly, like the world had suddenly been frozen, sluggishly chugging along so that everything felt unsteady and like he was watching himself through a movie screen. Remus looked down at his middle - his feet were off the ground - his eyes wide and stunned, lips parting in shock, but no words came out. Instead, a few drops of blood slid from the corner of his mouth and down his jawline. Red was slowly beginning to stain the white of his uniform a bright, blossoming scarlet, sliding down the length of the sword, the coppery tang of blood in Remus's mouth, in the air around him.
He lifted a shaking, trembling hand, touched fingers to where the blade was and they came away too red, too bright, too red, too bright -
They were gone. He was gone, and then he was back again; the general had teleported, and Remus barely had a second to register this before he felt the unmistakable, horrific twist and push of the sword piercing through something - someone - else, something warm and very much alive suddenly against Remus's back.
He coughed, choked, and blood spattered the hilt of the sword in front of him, Remus's eyes wide. He tried to form words but nothing would come, nothing would work. His throat seemed to be permanently closed. His hands seemed to not know how to move, not know how to reach down and pull the thing out of him, because they were trapped helplessly, paralyzingly at his sides, and Sessrumnir -
Sess -
Remus staggered, and the pain was starting to hit - sheer, white hot, blazing agony that swept from the point where the sword was currently embedded in himself all the way throughout his entire body, and he couldn't even find the strength to scream from the intensity of it all, his mouth opening and closing wordlessly.
He stumbled. His feet went out from beneath him. He was dragging whoever was behind him with him as he fell to his knees, and all he could see was red -
The misty fog trailed up Remus’s body and Hy watched in satisfaction as she saw a renewed sort of strength radiate from him. Sure her magic didn’t heal anything major, but it certainly helped in these times when every little bit could make a difference. As it was, the senshi also finally took notice and turned to her, giving her a grin and a thumbs up. Perfect.
She continued the channeling even hearing the sound of a wolf behind her. A quick glance in that direction revealed a large wolf summons that looked ready to make a meal of the red haired corrupt. Good, it seemed things were going fairly well for all of them. No one was seriously injured, Scylla was out of Obsidian’s grasp, the corrupt was being kept at bay and there were four of them against the General. It felt like the odds were in their favor here. Surely the two chaos agents would make a hasty retreat in the near future.
No sooner had she thought that the two negaverse agents would flee did the General summon a sword in his hand. Hy immediately canceled her channeling to call out to Remus but it was too late. The blade entered the eternals body like a hot knife in butter. It didn’t take long for the blood to begin to stain the blade as the General held up his ‘prize’. Hy-Brasil could only imagine how much more it hurt to have his wound be the support for his entire wait on the blade. If he even felt it. By the shocked expression and almost unfocused motions the squire was pretty sure that the senshi…
The disappeared from view as the General teleported away. “s**t!” She cursed as she looked around desperately for where they went. It was the feeling of cold steel stabbing into her back and through her own abdomen that she knew where the General had gone. The coward had decided to take her through the back with his weapon!
Like Remus, Hy-Brasil went into a type of shock. She was highly aware of the fact she was pressed against the senshi’s back. Blue eyes gazed down at the tip of the blade that protruded from her, blood dripping from it in a steady rhythm. A stuttered breath escaped her as she attempted to deal with the wash of pain that encased her senses. The hyper awareness was working against her now as she felt more blood ooze from her own mouth. It was like an instant reply of Remus, only with the squire. Finger lifted to the blade’s edge, coating her hand in the mixture of her and Remus’s blood. She didn't even heard Obsidian's remark.
The blade instantly got heavier and pulled down on her, and Hy didn’t fight it. She let herself fall to her knees with Remus. A part of her aching for the sword to be removed but also knowing that the bleeding would become more profusive once the weak barrier was removed.
Unfocused blue eyes gazed ahead of her where she saw both Scylla and Scholomance. She couldn’t read their expressions, not with the shock she was going into, but she did have a moment of passing thought that at least she wasn’t alone.

The giant wolf snarled and snapped at the rocks being thrown at her, teeth bared and hackles raised, and Sessrumnir growled in a similar way at the corrupt senshi’s feeble attempt at a distraction or attack or whatever they were trying to do. It was difficult to keep his attention focused on the corrupt when he could hear shouts in the direction of the General where the others were still fighting.
He was only half glancing in the direction of the others, his mouth open as if about to order the wolf to attack the corrupt once more, when the unthinkable happened.
There was nothing he could have done to stop it.
Sessrumnir felt the connection of his eyes meeting Remus’s, and then the world shattered. The long blade of the General’s sword pierced through him.
The enraged, blood curdling cry that ripped from Sessrumnir’s throat hardly sounded human, as though he’d been the one impaled. And in a way he had. Remus, for him, was life itself. Without him there was no reason to even exist, and he didn’t even care how cliche and ridiculous it sounded.
Not only had this despicable piece of s**t of a General run his sword through Remus, but was toying around with him, lifting Remus up and then disappearing only to reappear and stab the Earth knight as well.
Sessrumnir was sure his heart was being torn into pieces, nails digging so hard into his palms that they cut into the skin as panic welled inside him. He surged forward, blinded to everything but Remus and the General, the wolf following suit and lunged ahead of him, teeth and claws prepared to tear and rip and sink in and crush bone if given the opportunity.
The giant wolf snapped viciously at the General, trying to sink her teeth into his shoulder or arm or anywhere she could reach, ready to tear him apart. Hopefully she would manage to get a piece of him, since her magic was wearing out; it was wearing out fast and Sessrumnir knew that.
There were others there, Sessrumnir knew that. The dark haired senshi with the crazy tentacles, the severely injured Earth knight, the Saturn knight he saw with the whip. He knew needed to keep it together, to stay focused, to keep a level head, to determine what the best, most cautious option was to take.
But in that moment, once the blade was pulled free and the Earth knight and Remus were left to bleed to death on the ground, Sessrumnir dropped to his knees beside his fiance. He trusted the other two would be able to keep the General off once the wolf disappeared into mist, not because he wanted to trust them, but because he had no other choice.
“Shh, it’ll be okay. You’ll be okay, you’ll be okay,” he mumbled as his hands lifted shakily up to rip at his cape, quickly pulling it free. He used the fang that normally housed his summon to rip at the fabric, tearing the cape in half, and then fourths. The first was tucked under Remus’s back to hopefully stop the blood from flowing so freely, and then another piece was pressed against his torso.
“Hang on, you can do this,” his voice cracked with emotion as his now blood covered hands lifted Remus’s to his mouth to kiss, and then laid them back down over the wound to hold the fabric in place.
And in spite of what everyone thought of him, and what he sometimes thought of himself, Sessrumnir took the last two pieces of his cape to do the same with the Earth knight, pressing the fabric to her back and then her torso.
Scylla had never been on the receiving end of Scholomance's power; the way that she world shifted around her, and the hand that had been gripping at her throat, trying to squeeze her small-boned wrist into her neck passed through her- and that was a creepy sensation, for certain. Gasping, wheezing, she flung herself away from Obsidian, away from the danger inherent in strong hands and a taste for blood.
A taste, which she discovered scant seconds after Obsidian breathed out his fury at having her slip his hands, was quite literal.
As Scylla was released, as she took those first ragged inhales and tried to center herself for a counter-offensive of some sort, Obsidian upped the ante- tremendously. First, rushing the male senshi who had cast, and - oh, god. Next, Hy-Brasil, and Scylla was stunned, for a momen, into silent staring at the injuries in front of her. She didn't know much about medicine, but she could remember what they had told her when she'd been stabbed in the gut by Zanazziite.
Hy-Brasil and the senshi, back to back, and there was screaming, and it wasn't her. It was the knight, other than Scholomance the only one who could possibly go toe to toe with Obsidian, and he was making himself a target- quite reasonably, too. Someone needed to stop their bleeding, and there was-
It was, essentially, now she and Scholomance standing against a General- teleported twice, how many times before he's weak?- and an Eternal who could steal and re-cast her magic, but couldn't control it. Not the odds she was hoping for, but it was what they had right now. "Scylla's Hunger!" she called the magic back to her, wondering if she would be able to drive them off before it ran out. Now, however, she had little choice but to press the offensive. Where before she had reigned the power and summoned only a single tentacle, that luxury was gone. Her fists clenched, and she tamped down her concern and focused on her singular goal.
Wrecking Obby's day.
With a thought, six tentacles were surging from the ground and reaching violently for the General. And she didn't plan to hold him, she wanted him gone. The limbs swung at him, tried to grip him, and if they got him- they would squeeze.

Tsu, I have a picture for you below the other spoiler. Also, just to get it out here-
Attack #2: Super Sailor Ability NAME: Scylla's Hunger What it does: Sailor Scylla is able to create what looks like tentacles, but instead of suckers on them they appear to have tiny teeth. These tentacles can either grab and hold the opponent, the small mouths tearing at the enemy's flesh, or strike the opponent. Scylla can create up to 12 of these tentacles at once, an absolute maximum. One tentacle can be maintained for up to a full 120 seconds, each subsequent tentacle draining time off of this maximum. The full 12 tentacles averages 30 seconds and leaves her able to walk- they could last for longer, but the effort of maintaining them would leave her severely drained from their use and therefore completely helpless when they wore off. Maintaining them longer would therefore be a last-ditch resort, only if she knew help was on the way. She can use her maximum number of tentacles once per day, and any mix of the other tentacles would vary on usage and stress. The downside to this is that for all the added control, Scylla also feels things done to the Kraken's limbs more keenly. Punch the tentacle, cut a tentacle and you're punching Scylla's... well, essentially, her magic. The pain she takes can vary from 'ow you punched me' to 'you knifed me in the side, you jerkoff.' This can lower the duration time of her power, and really, really prove a distraction.
