Subira Post 4As he little brother squirmed she made to poke at him again. "Well no wonder you were having trouble. You have to eat Euri." Subira smiled at him and shook her head. "Your muscles are starving so they don't wanna do what you tell them to." As he mentioned going to the place near town she nodded her head. Subira wasn't fond of spending a lot of time in town but for Eurig she would deal with it. She was more of a tree lover than a people lover, with the exception of her mothers and brother. "Alright, lets get some food in your tummy." Once again she tried to poke him, this time aiming for his belly.

Ujana - 5
Oh thank the Gods. Ujana knew that Ariya didn't have the same anatomy as Odd, that much was obvious, but she had worried that maybe she wanted to have another kid that way,possibly with a surrogate, and....Ujana wiped it out of her mind. As much as she still cared for Odd, she could totally survive the entirety of her life without having to sleep with him again.
The poor man just needed some more experience....
...or to give up.
Either one would be good.
"You...think we could? Whose to say they wouldn't just turn us away as soon as we got there?" It wasn't as if she hadn't thought about having more children with Ariya, but it had always been in the ways of adoption. Sure, she had cousins born from Aisha, but thinking about going to the sacred mother herself was more than a little intimidating.

He couldn't escape her! Eurig tried to duck away, but where was he supposed to go that his sister couldn't follow? Even though he tried to get away he couldn't stop laughing; the pouting, half tears had disappeared and in there wake was a broad smile. "Okay, okay, I'll eat! Just stooooop."
The little one was excited. He rarely got to eat in town, and when he did it was usually only when they were either picking him up or taking him to meet his father. To be able to eat at his favorite place, without having to leave for months on end....maybe today wasn't so bad, after all!
He laughed again and reached for her hand, holding it off with both of his. "Mooooommssss! Make her stop! We gotta go eat!"

Ariya Post 5
The relief in Ujana was instantaneous and it brought forth a type of mirth in Ariya's eyes.The fact that she had been worried about that was cute. "They can't stop us from going to Aisha. It is up to the Great Mother to allow us to be blessed with a bloom or not. It has nothing to do with the other Alks."
When her long pointed ears caught the sound of a "Mooooommssss!" she moved her head so that she could look at Eurig. Almost instantly her laughter weas back and she abandoned Ujana so that she could join in on cheering the boy up. "Now what is this about our little boy not eating!?" Despite being huge in comparison to Eurig she was always gentle when handling him. "How dare any son of mine neglect food!" Ariya started to tickle rather than poke as Subira was doing.

Subira Post 5She was ignoring the conversation her mothers were having since she knew it was for grown up ears only, even if they were only a few feet away. Instead she grinned at Eurig and giggled as she "tortured" him. "That's right you better eat!" When he complained to have their moms stop her she snorted. "Oh fine, I guess I can be a nice sister." But then one mother joined her in making him laugh and she gave a wicked smile. "Or not!" Subira felt a bit of glee that her little brother was happy rather than pouty.

"You say that, but I've seen the way some of the sisters look at us now. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a big gate, and the...what is it?...the Matron was standing guard." She saw the way the shifters looked at her, as if just being with Ariya was a traitor to the earthling way of life, and the same went for how alkidike looked at Ariya when they passed. It wasn't like Ujana was overly concerned; she'd push past them all if her lover wanted another baby, but it was a little more complicated this way and she wanted to do it right.
The fuss her son was making was enough to draw her over, and even if she was behind Ariya, Ujana just stood there, shaking her head with a grin. Honestly, he should have said something earlier, but the 'punishment' he was receiving now was worth it. "Get his ribs! They're his weak spot!"
She moved closer to Subira and gave her a little nudge. "Get in there."

Oh no. He knew what he was in for as soon as momma Ari came over. Eurig tried to roll on his belly and scamper away, but alas, he was still caught up! His laughter grew ten fold in the span of a minute and soon he was flapping his little arms, furiously pushing and poking at his mother's in an attempt to escape the 'torture'.
"Mama!" Ujana was his last hope! He reached for her, curling in a little on a laugh, and stopping his efforts all together when Ujana just shook her head.
He was starting to wheeze he was giggling so much.

Ariya Post 6
When she was given the tip about his ribs she set to tickling them without mercy. "What am I going to do with a son who doesn't eat? The wind will blow him away! Oh no!" Ariya laughed the whole time but she was starting to let up on her tickles so that her little boy could breathe.
Last thing she wanted was for him to stop breathing. She could just imagine the panic that would ensue. All of them would be up in arms about it. "Ujana, what shall we do?" The chubby alk reached out to take Eurig's flailing arms and aid him in the motion as if she were the wind making him shake like a noodle.

Subira Post 6When she was nudged by her earthling mother she giggled and poked at her sibling a bit more but as he started to wheeze she had a moment of internal panic. So Subira switched sides and started to swat at her other mother. "I won't let the wind blow him away." Though she was laughing still so it couldn't be determined if she was serious in her attempts to get Ariya to stop. When she thought that her little brother had had enough, however, she did what she could to get him away from their mothers. "Hurry Euri! We gotta escape!" It was still a game until her brother started to have real problems.

Eurig was powerless to stop her; he was taking the much needed break to focus on getting his breathing back. Still, throughout it all he was grinning like a mad man, so his 'suffering' wasn't too terrible.
He used Subira's interference as a chance to run. The little leafling reached for her hand, and tugged, trying to run without actually dragging his big sister behind him. "If we go really fast then they can't catch us!" He knew his mothers were tough, but they were also old, and old people couldn't run as fast for long!
Besides, no one could beat Subira!

"Feed him until he's a little butterball that roll with the wind. It'll be easier to catch him then." She laughed. It wasn't likely that Eurig would go without food for long in their family. In order to keep up with training and personal appetites she'd personally learned a lot about cooking over the last few years.
"Ariya, watch out, they're getting away!" She motioned towards the kids and made a move to follow them, at a visibly slower pace, mind you. She wanted them to think she was 'chasing' them, without actually catching up to them. Eurig was having fun, and at least he was running, which was sort of like training.
Then, just for fun, she added, "Last one there has to wash clothes when we get back."

As the table turned and Subira helped Eurig escape she gave a fake glare. However, a grin quickly formed as she looked at Ujana. "What a good idea! We can fatten him up!" The chubby alkidike moved her gaze toward the boy just as he and his sister were making their get-a-way. "You shall't escape little sprout!"
As the kids ran she got upright and was going to chase after them but the added incentive given by Ujana made her turn serious. Ariya hated doing laundry. "Are you sure you want to challenge an alk to a foot race, temptress of mine?" Now the woman had a mischievous look in her eyes though she didn't wait for a reply before taking off to keep close behind the kids.

Subira Post 7With her little brother pulling her along she laughed and went willingly. Of course her laughter turned into a shriek of joy when she learned that their mothers were following. Subira easily kept pace with Eurig but when she heard the deal made about laundry and knew that one of their mothers was close behind them she moved a bit faster. Using some fancy footwork she spun and lifted her brother up off the ground, half swinging him around, so that he could hold onto her and get a piggy back ride. Subira needed the training and neither one of them wanted to lose! "Hold on Euri!" With that the younger alk surged forward with her sibling in tow to make sure they won ad voided laundry duty. She also wanted to make sure Eurig had fun to forget is embarrassment.
