Jiro had just been waiting for the coffee after that. When Felicity came back with his coffee he smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Felicity. Is it possible to order some food as well or should I come back on a specific hour?" he asked, but it seemed to get lost in another entrance to the cafe and he looked up to see what had their hostess distracted. He was surprised to see self-same Miqo'te walk in as Felicity had mentioned only moments earlier. "Well ain't that a coincidence." he spoke softly and chuckled a bit. It was good to see another of his kind around here and her together with Felicity made him feel a lot less far from home than he had and indeed was. Jiro gave Shaline a smile and nodded to her and her companion as well before he left the two to talk together. They seemed like two good friends that hadn't met for a while and he didn't want to interrupt their reunion. Since he would be ordering food here, be it now if possible or later if that was easier for Felicity, he took another gender over the menu that lay before him. To his surprise he saw Salmon Meuniere and Tune Miq'abob on the list that was explained specifically to be made with spices from the Miqo'te. With that his decision was soon made to go for the Tune Miq'abob. All that was left was to ask when that would be possible once Felicity had time.

Strife simply drank his coffee. What he hoped would be silent, added some more bodies, but it seemed the owner knew them. So... he drank and observed, watching the new comers with his pistols ready. Upon finishing the cup he started his second, drinking the coffee like it was water.

Artemis smiled and nodded. "Costa del Sol huh. I've been there only once before, but I never got the chance to go back." Sighing a little, he thought about the time he got to spend on that beach. It was the exact place where he met Shadira. Things were a lot different back then, during his darker days. Seeing the look on Shaline's face made him smile even more. "I take it that you found something you like."
Felicity walked back over to Jiro and smiled."It's absolutely alright to order. What would you like?"Felicity noticed his gaze over towards Shaline."That is the Miqo'te I was telling you about, if you haven't made the connection yet. We connected as we came through the portal that brought us here and became friends as her house is best friends with the house I served. So we instantly connected in a sense."Felicity smiled though at the pair at the table."And it seems she has made a new friend. I can see she enjoys his company though. Never have seen her so relaxed."Felicity looked back to Jiro."In any case, what would you like to order?"

Shaline's ears perked up when he said he had been to Costa del Sol."You've been to Eorzea?"When he inquired about what she found her smile became nostalgic."Dzemael Gratin. I remembered my mother made it for me one time before she died. My father had told me some years back when the staff at home made it again that it was my mother's favorite dish. So to see it on the menu, just brings back memories that I had since thought I lost."Shaline looked up to him with a smile on her face, ears slightly flat with her mind still in her memories.

Though he focused on his own table, being a Ninja he was used to keeping a keen ear out to pick up useful information. As such, even subconsciously, he picked up the sound of the man drinking the coffee and pour another as well as some snippets of the conversation between the other Miqo'te and her companion. Not that he even tried to eavesdrop, it went as second nature. When Felicity came back to him and said he could order and what he wanted he smiled happily. "Thank you Felicity. I would like to order a Tuna Miq'abob please." he ordered calmly as he kept his smile on his face. The idea to be eating something made by his own tribe was rejuvenating. Of course he could cook too, but he had yet to find spices from his tribe here. And it was naturally harder to cook it well when all he usually had, unless at an Inn with a room, was a campfire. He listened as she spoke of the duo and looked towards them again before looking back to Felicity and nodded. "I have and was just thinking it was quite a coincidence." he spoke and chuckled softly. "I have heard about her house, but haven't really made acquaintance with them. I was but one adventurer among many." he said. It didn't bother him though. It also meant he escaped the fancy parties high houses tended to have. They were really not his style, he'd rather join a small party at a pub, even without drinking much.
Strife continued to drink his coffee. None of them knew him, he didn't know them, and friends were not something he was too keen on obtaining. To the owner he was a gunslinging troublemaker, to the guy he was probably the same thing, and the two new comers didn't pay him much attention. So he kept drinking and observing. He did have to give the owner credit on a couple things; one to stand up against, the other for making some good black coffee. "Some places are only worth seeing once..." Giving a shrug as he drank. Over the course of many, many, many, years he had seen and witnessed so much.

Artemis chuckled a little, before turning his attention back to Shaline. "No, I've never been to Eorzea at all. There is another world that also has a place by that name. I'm not surprised if people get them mixed up. At least, those that know of them both." He didn't pay much attention to the others in the room, but he could see them in his peripheral vision. Even though he was half blind, he could make out people. It was mostly words that he couldn't see, if they were too small. "I'm sorry to hear that Shaline. I didn't get the chance to know my mother. She died shortly after I was born and my father fell to darkness. When I was younger, I fell to it as well. The Costa del Sol I've been to, was where I met Shadira."
Felicity shrugged."The Fortemps are actually the more tame ones out of all the houses. They prefer to stay out of the party and help those on the streets. I heard for a while that some of the other houses kinda didn't acknowledge the Fortemps House for a while. Something about the current Count married a common girl, a miqo'te, from Gridania. Once she died, they started acknowledging the house again, as well as the Count and his daughter. Turns out, Shaline is the daughter and only child of Count Artoirel de Fortemps."Felicity tapped his table and smiled."Well I better get your order back to the kitchen. Any sides and soup or salad that you will like?"Felicity glanced over to Strife when he mumbled something and just ignored him for the moment.

Shaline's head cocked to one side when he spoke of another Costa del Sol."I've never been to any other world except this one and my home."And then she got a great idea."You should come with me to see my Costa del Sol! The ocean is so blue and the people are very friendly....except that one Lalafell...but he's always a stickler for details."Shaline listened to his past and her ears flattened a bit."I guess taking you to Eorzea's Costa del Sol will bring back bad memories though.

"I see. I did hear similar about the high houses. It doesn't bother me I never got close to one though. Those fancy parties they tend to have are not my thing." he said and chuckled. When he heard the other's next question he thought for a moment before he decided and smiled. "No soup, but some salad on the side would be great. Thank you." he spoke calmly. That should be enough to carry him for a while again. Jiro made it a habit to eat just as he needed. So it depended on plans or anything else he would have how much he would eat.

Artemis didn't see the point in trying to listen in on the conversations of others, unless he had some suspicions. There were times when he couldn't help but overhear things, but it wasn't something he did on purpose. "There are many worlds Shaline. It's not surprising that some of them have the same areas." He thought about Costa del Sol and the time he had spent with Shadira. In his darker days, it would have been the best time of his life. Nowadays, he wishes that he had never met the witch. "I wouldn't mind seeing your Costa del Sol. At that time, I thought they were the best memories. Sometimes, I wish that I had never met Shadira. That being said, I'm happy that I actually did. If I wouldn't have met her, I wouldn't have my son. Rayne means everything to me."
Felicity nodded."Sure thing. Be about 8 minutes. And what kind of salad would you like?"Felicity kept the order in her head as she was used to keeping large orders from the house she served. She glanced around her restaurant to make sure things were in order. The hosts and waiters were making sure some of the other patrons were tended to.

Shaline's smile returned to her face and her ears perked up. She was happy because he was happy. She could tell he really loved his son, and seeing his happy face made....her heart flutter? She had never really had a kind of relationship with a guy other than travel companion or friend back in Eorzea, even though she had many countless guys wanting to court her only because of her family or her father's title. Shaline was actually happy to be in the company of a guy that immediately didn't want to court her and just spend time with her."We'll get him back. I am sure of it."Shaline had to remember where the portal was that brought her here. It lead right back to Ishgard, right around her home."And maybe I could show you a little bit of where I am from too."

Jiro wasn't sure but Felicity seemed to look around a lot. Maybe she was worried about more incidents like just now with Strife. The Miqo'te wouldn't ask though, it wasn't any of his business after all. Of course if he had to he would end up helping out either way, such was the fate of a Shinobi, or so his teacher had oft reminded him of such duty. But since he was rather tired of the constant fighting he had been in, he took much longer to react nowadays. All seemed quiet now though. "Ceasar Salad please. Thank you." he replied and smiled a bit, assuming she meant one of the salads mentioned on the menu. "Everything alright? I couldn't help but notice you looking around." he finally decided to ask either way. Perhaps it was because Felicity was Eorzean, like him.

Artemis smiled at the thought of seeing a new world. He didn't really travel between the worlds since Rayne was born. His son had been his main focus for the last few years. "I won't stop until Rayne is safe. I would love to see your home Shaline. There are many ways to travel between the worlds nowadays." He could overhear the others in the room, but he decided to pay them no mind. It wasn't any of his business anyways.
