As an aquarius myself, I believe yes & no. I believe that if you get into everything you could wear yourself out. also, with detachment I think it's better to have time to yourself, sometimes people just don't choose the right time to do so. dramallama

To me, aquarian detachment is like a defence mechanism. I doubt it's either clearly good or bad - Sometimes people will see it as coldness, even when it is just a means of maintaining sanity.

My boyfriend is an aquarius... but he has a pisces moon and cancer rising... xD
He's not very detatched. He is really sweet, but definately an aquarius in every other way...
like... the insane way. xD

xd We get that a lot. Personally, I'm just a little turned off by *too* much emotion. It's easier, (and let's face, it like Wolf said, safer,) to maintain the logical, cool facade. I mean what's worse to you guys, being hurt, or everyone knowing you've *been* hurt? To me it's bad enough when somebdy hurts my feelings--I'm certainly not going to give them the satisfaction of knowing they succeded. PS BonJovi--thanks for the hug and the pie! xd domokun heart

I have a best friend who's an Aquarius. heart Cold, detached and weird - sounds like you got our good points, opalsnow! Well, I genuinely do find weirdness to be a good quality. Generally, how do you relate to your aquarian influence? I ask because detachedness in particular seems to be a particularly non-cancerian trait.
