Please make sure you are listing your spells when battling. Spells are limited and magic attacks cannot be used if the spells are not announced in battle. You must keep track of the available spell slots when battling. By this attack Syqvara has already run out of spells.

Dodging is half of your speed bonus. Syqvara's bonus when dodging is +1, not +4.
