Jada didn't hide her bright grin to the other girl, and her laugh was wicked mischief. "Awesome," she told her as they approached the door to the cafe, "Jay and Lissa we are." it was easier to socialize than as Scylla and Lepus, and honestly, without nicknames or something, seeing two women as different in looks as Jada and Alise out so late night trigger some alarms. "I know who Garfield is?" Jada volunteered cheerfully; she could see Pusheen reminding the other girl of Etoile. "I like the little food munchy icons on messenger. And they fly little helicopters and stuff?" She pulled open the door and the smell of coffee assaulted her senses. Yummy. "I didn't know Pusheen had comics. Are they good for kids? My little sister would adore them."

"Oh yeah, Garfield's one- he's been around, like, forever? He's probably older than my mom," Alise mused, as the two entered the cafe, "There's also Maru, the cat that likes boxes? Well, I guess it's technically Maru and Hana now- anyways, those two are real." Alise didn't necessarily consider herself an expert on famous internet cats, but there had been something of an increased interest in them after her awakening. There was a certain allure to them, after all, even if they weren't talking cats like the Mauvians were, that drew her to them. At Jada's next question, Alise pulled out her phone (her regular one, not her senshi one), looking for something she had seen before. "There's comics! Um... not... like, what you would think of normally? But there's some comics?" Finally locating what she was looking for, she showed it to Jada. "There's a book! At least one. And there's a coloring book, too, that I've seen around in a few places." "There's... a looooot of Pusheen stuff out there."

Alise knew a lot more about cats than Jada did, at least fictional ones, and probably real ones too, honestly. "Garfield likes lasagna," she said bravely as she stepped in behind Alise, "And- and I think that's all I know on famous cats." Whoever Maru and Hana were, apparently they were real cats with a fondness for boxes. Jada wasn't even sure what she could say about that. Instead, she leaned over the phone with interest, considering the page that the younger girl showed her. "you need to send me that link, when you can." Jada's eyes lit at the cute little art presented to her. Ugh. Pushie- Pusheen- was way too cute. Giulia would absolutely have a fit if she had the opportunity to color on the cute kitty. If she hadn't been paying attention, she might have bumped into the counter. The server behind the counter gave a warm grin, however, seeing the two young women together. "So Lissa, what do you want to drink? Once we've ordered, I definitely require some of your pop culture savvy." there was a generation gap that she was most definitely suffering from. "You gotta help me be hip and stuff." Goodness knew she wasn't on top of trends for anything more than shoes and clothes.

Alise nodded, bookmarking the link to send to Jada later, once she got a phone number to text it to... or an e-mail... whatever. Seeing as they had reached the counter, Alise peered at the menu, looking at what they had. "... Do they have peanut butter hot chocolate?" she asked Jada, figuring that if she'd been here before, she'd know best- it beat reading the menu, anyways. At the older woman's next words, about teaching her about pop culture and being cool, Alise grinned, reveling in the idea of showing someone older how to be 'cool'. "I'll teach you everything you want to know, Jay," Alise said mischievously; she was, possibly, having a little too much fun with this idea.

Peanut Butter hot cocoa was not something she had thought to try before, and it sounded.... doable? Almost delicious, actually, but Jada wasn't sure how much liquid Reese's Cup she could actually do. Peering at the menu, she pointed to an option. "Looks like you can have them make it? They'd have to mix some stuff together, but you can risk it. I'm gonna get regular cocoa, then attack the York Peppermint Patty creamer they have over there instead of marshmallows." Honestly, it was probably too hot for cocoa by now, but Jada always did what she wanted anyway. "I bow to your wisdom, mini guru." Jada's lips quirked. "I'm thinking to get a few of those macarons and a strawberry shortcake. Have you ever tried macarons? They're addicting." Merurulince I think we could do a FIN on your post, or my next one?

"I dunno, I might have," Alise mused, as they gave their order to the woman behind the counter, “They’re usually hard to find, though.” That, and Etoile always had first dibs on anything Alise brought home, not that she would mention that out loud, at least not in public as they currently were. Jada probably got the idea, anyway; she had met the tiny Mauvian before, after all. Soon enough, their orders were ready, and Alise picked out an empty booth near the back, where they could chat with relative minimal fuss, not that there were a lot of people at this time of night. It wasn’t really necessarily; Alise mostly went more into detail about Famous Internet Cats (and some non-internet famous cats), occasionally showing Jada a few Twitter profiles of the ones she knew the most. (Just for fun, Alise also directed Jada towards a website where she could order a seasonal Pusheen lootbox, something she herself had been not-so-subtly trying to push her mom into buying her as a birthday gift, to no avail.) Overall, while the ‘sisters’ may not have looked entirely alike, they got along in a familiar and friendly enough way to not attract any suspicion... not that Alise wasn’t prepared to make up some wild and elaborate story on the spot if questioned. Their conversation was inconspicuous enough, if not a little random to be discussing at this time of night, but really, was it anyone’s business? Eventually, though, it was time for them to part ways for the night; Alise had to return home before she was sneaking out, and Jada… had to go do whatever it was Jada did at night, that wasn’t simply ‘senshi stuff’. (Alise wasn’t really sure, to be honest.) “Thanks for the cocoa! That was pretty fun,” Alise told Jada, after they had left the cafe. Powering back up once the coast was clear, Lepus grinned. “I gotta get going now, before my mom wakes up and finds out I’m not home,” Lepus said, though her worries were less being caught out at night as much as the possibilities of an unsupervised Etoile digging through the pantry for sweets. “Hope we can do this again soon! Bye for now!” And with that, Lepus gave a little wave, before hurrying on her way back home. Infinities happy late bday 2 me i got a tag done also fin i think thank youuu for letting me skip ahead in time to move things along and thank youuu for the rp ;;;;;;;;
